I ordered a xl family pack with brisket and sausage, bbq pinto beans & coleslaw. And I added two slaps of ribs and two order green beans and a family size peach cobbler. Total cost $195.28 The ribs and the coleslaw taste good. The brisket, tho tender, seriously lacked flavor. The sausage lacked both flavor and smoke. The beans were inedible, one of the worst I've ever had. The peach cobbler tasted well, but it was barely any peaches. The green beans taste like they were dumped from the can and just boiled. This was a very expensive meal, and we feel like we wasted our money. We were very disappointed. I seriously doubt we will ever be back.

Not super impressed. Pretty pricey for the portions and the food is just okay. I did enjoy the ribs! However, the Mac and Cheese was lackluster needed to add salt & pepper to make it okay. My brisket was very fatty. The chicken didn't have much flavor but if you drown it in sauce it's alright. They did come around with hot bread thank goodness because the bread that was given was not warm. They had fresh peach cobbler with ice cream which was yummy. The service was nice, but I probably would not come back though.

I was pleasantly surprised. I've been here before, but I don't remember having a good experience. We came here for a school night event and the wait was very long, but it was worth it. The food options were really varied and everything was really hot and fresh. The portion sizes were great. The brisket that was moist and with extra bark and well marbled was super good and tasty. Not any big pieces of fat that we couldn't eat. I ordered the chicken because it looked delicious and it definitely was. The mac & cheese was good, also like the potato salad although it had probably a little bit too much dressing. The bread super fluffy and amazing. They ran out of glasses. I had to get a kids cup, but that's because there were so many people. Ordered a basket of fried okra. This one wasn't my favorite. I don't really like the batter they used, but it was fine. Things were a little more hectic since it was such a big event so tables weren't being cleaned often but I completely understand. Overall, really good. I didn't expect it to be that good. So I will be back!

Came for a lunch with co-workers! When you walk in, you will place your order and walk through as they prepare your meat and select your sides. It's similar to a cafeteria style concept. Service was quick. The portions are very big! They definitely make the price worth it. I ordered the lunch chicken which came with two sides. I chose coleslaw and corn. You also receive a roll. At the end is a toppings bar where you can select some hot peppers, pickles, and onions. You will also grab a drink if you'd like and pay for everything before sitting down. Everything was wonderful. I left stuffed and with leftovers. I do wish there was a spicy barbecue sauce option. I was too full to try the desserts, but they looked enticing! Worth a try.

We stopped by to order to-go here today and it seemed like a lot of people had the same idea! While the parking lot was full, only two or three tables out of the large restaurant was taken up and full of people. There were lots of helpful workers and smiling faces! I walked up to the to-go counter and made my order. It took longer than usual since I've never ordered togo before and it has been awhile since I've been here. The only thing I recall was that dining in we were able to get seconds on sides (though I do not know if that is true anymore). The prices seem to have increased significantly on the plate orders, by at least $5-8 a plate, if not more. From the menus in the photos on Google reviews, it seems to have gone up because of Covid, like all things these days. With seconds for sides while dining in, it makes sense, but pricier for taking the food to-go. Still, everything costs more now, so I'm not blaming them. However, everything was delicious. We got two marbled brisket dinner plates with potato salad and Mac and cheese as the sides. Each order came with two of their delicious pull-apart breads and pickle spears or slices and peppers, etc. The marbling and smokey taste were perfect. I think each plate came with half a pound of meat and they offered to let me try some, but I declined since I trusted them. It filled both my husband and I up even as we gave our Mac and cheese to our kids for lunch. While waiting, I did ask for extra bread (they added four more!) and offered me a complimentary drink. I waited for about five minutes and my order was right out. There were maybe three other guests in line after me to order, too, so the to-go line was bumping! We enjoyed our food and will probably stop by again soon for more BBQ.

Came here for dinner tonight with my husband and we both really enjoyed it. The employees were all so kind and helpful. We went through the line fast and really enjoyed our meal. Someone comes around offering fresh hot bread with butter which was so good!! Definitely recommend trying the Brisket Plate w/ 2 homestyle sides and the Combination plate - smoked BBQ chicken and brisket w/ 2 homestyle sides. My husband and I loved the chicken, it had great flavor. We also loved all of the sides we tried - potato salad, green beans, Mac & cheese, BBQ pinto beans, and the coleslaw. The BBQ on the side was great too! We look forward to coming back!

The service is really poor. Went at 4.30pm. One of the Lady had to tell the person that was working the counter they had customer after standing there a few minutes. Don't get the food that setting out it dry and not that good. Got ribs that was on counter and order 1/2 a rack of ribs. That was fresh. The fresh ribs come right off the bone the ribs that on the counter dry and tuff. Baked beans water down see the pictures.

The food is just ok; the service not so good and inconsistent. In order to get good service, only one particular employee has to be working; the rest are just horrible.

I always order beans and potato salad at every establishment as that is the benchmark staple in my opinion. If you can't master those sides I have no interest in any other sides you might offer. Legend tells the brisket is spectacular and I have to say it did not disappoint. The seasoning was traditional and bark was spot on. It was moist and succulent as you would expect for a $30 plate. It literally dissolved on the tongue. The sausage link was also moist and well flavored. Admittedly, I don't put a high value on sausage unless it is truly mind altering. It was a good sausage though. The pork ribs were my surprise disappointment. They were cooked well and had the appropriate tenderness and seasoning. The oddity of the flavor was an overwhelming taste of cleaning chemicals. The aftertaste wreaked of first cook after a serious deep clean/degreasing in the smoker without running a full smoke and heat cycle to reseason the smoker. The beans and potato salad were excellent. The beans were well flavored and smoky. They don't require a lengthy list of adjectives. They complement the meats extremely well. The potato salad also was excellent in its brand uniqueness. The cold, creamy texture balances the acidity of the smoked meats and pinto beans. I always find a great potato salad adds the balance to the spices, acids and smoke to round out the meal. I gave them four stars simply because I understand the nature of running a kitchen, smoker, etc and sometimes the schedule to put product out for the next day may cause staff to miss a step here and there such as making sure cleaning agents and their lingering odors are flushed from cooking apparatus'. All in all it was good food and the staff were friendly. I will visit again but I may skip the ribs next time.

After the 30 minute drive, I get there and don't see it on the menu. As I get to the front I figure it'll be okay, I'll get something else if they don't have it but I'll double check cuz I know I saw it on their website just a few days ago. Disappointingly, it is confirmed that they don't have it. Without glancing at the menu I try to go for my standard two meat plate of brisket and ribs... Turns out you can't get ribs as part of the two meat plate. Okay, I don't need to eat that much food anyway, just brisket with mac and cheese and their cornbread casserole. It's a counter service barbecue place this should take about 2 minutes... But it doesn't. We go find a seat and we wait, and we wait, and they finally call us to pick up our food. I take a bite of the mac and cheese. Delicious! My disappointment starts to fade and I get excited about the rest. A fork full of cornbread casserole... It's all right. Tasty but not as exciting as the mac and cheese was. Now it's time for the brisket. It's very tender, well cooked, looks like a nice bark, but not much flavor. Perhaps that sums up my experience, big expectations but not a lot of delivery. If you want some outstanding mac and cheese, give this place a try. If you're looking for barbecue, it's fine, on par with other places, but not worth a 30 minute drive from the city.
