Just good food. What more can be said. Well worth a trip if you like barbecue. And the brisket is just as good

Who's supposed to eat that huge baked potato!!! I ordered the brisket and sausage dinner with a loaded baked potato for $18.95. I was able to split this meal and eat off of it for 2 days!! The potato was HUGE but somehow fell short. The serving size of this dinner was very reasonable for the price I paid and if you practice portion control, 2-3 meals could easily be made from it. I chose to place my order to go because I was pressed for time. While you wait for your order, you're offered a complimentary fountain drink. I always like to get the peach tea but it was barely enough in the dispenser to make half a cup. I had to pour unsweetened tea to fill my cup the rest of the way. It didn't take too long to get my food and everything was as I expected; kind of. The brisket had enough marble on it and both the brisket and sausage were very moist. The baked potato, however, could have been cooked a little longer and perhaps seasoned all the way through. If not for the toppings, the whole potato would be bland. I've had baked potatoes seasoned all the way down to the skin. Maybe it was just an off day for them because their potatoes are not usually like that. Overall, the meal was tasty. I'm definitely willing to try the potato again on my next visit in hopes that the next time Mr. Potato meets my expectations.

dry ribs, funky, coleslaw, bad, french fries, and undesirable, macaroni and cheese

so I ordered the ribs and they were very dry. if you look at the ribs in the photo, there's no glistening moisture as God intended. The coleslaw tasted like it had kale in it and has some unidentified green items in it that does not belong in cold coleslaw. I was hopeful about the macaroni and cheese, yet another disappointment. My friend got a basket, Oh fries and somehow those weren't any good either. It has been decades since I've been to a spring Creek barbecue and I feel like I came back too soon.

This restaurant is unbelievable. Great here pictures of their food and I don't eat that much so this food last me all day lunch and dinner good Lord, his baked potato and his barbecue sandwich out of control. Your customer service take out area is wonderful. Nice she made sure everything was in a bag before she gave it to me Their tea unsweetened sweetened and peach tea. Wonderful the surroundings of the inside restaurant family oriented, music low TV is on. I didn't check the bathrooms cause I was just there to pick up my food but everybody seems to be nice customer wise. I enjoyed myself now to put this 30 pounds on from this food.

Picked up barbecue for Labor Day. Ordered Baby Ribs, Mild sausage, Barbecue Beans, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Peach cobbler and Pecan cobbler. We enjoyed a delicious Labor Day dinner.

Solid 3.5 stars. Usually you don't have to wait since it's a big place. Pros: Meats are pretty good, especially the ribs - good flavor and fall off the bone. Bread is free, so fresh and tastes very good (I would come here just for the bread). Cons: Sides not that great. The corn on cob was so bland/not fresh. Green beans also very plain. Portion sizes match the price. Some staff are welcoming, others look like they don't want to be there. Ambiance reminds me of Outback Steakhouse. Are there better BBQ places in Houston? Definitely. But this place is decent.

I like Spring Creek a lot, but is it the best BBQ in Texas? I've had better, but Spring Creek is good and pretty consistent. On this visit I enjoyed the three meat plate and chose brisket, St Louis ribs, and black pepper sausage. Everything was good, and I especially liked the ribs. The meat was firm but tender and easily pulled off the bone. Nice seasoning rub and warm BBQ sauce. The meat server person was not very welcoming on this visit. He was very abrupt and barked at the customers. He seemed annoyed and in a hurry to take my order and get done. There was no need to hurry as there was no one behind me. That customer service was not the impression that I would want if I were running the restaurant. And service can be a deal breaker in this business.

Spent $180 in a family size Uber delivery from this place. They sent the driest toughest most stale brisket and ribs I have had since being in Texas. Probably from yesterday. No respect for food quality. They already charge pretty high prices how about delivering edible food in return?!?!

You can ask to see the piece of rib before they cut it for you and they will happily oblige (patrons behind you might not be so thrilled with that move, but they'll live). Sides were excellent as were the mashed potatoes with white gravy on the side, green beans that were just tender enough, but also a bit crunchy. Perfect. They were seasoned with pork, so if that's not your thing, you might want to skip it. We also ordered their shareable onion rings, easily enough for three people that were huge, hot, and crispy. Let's get this out of the way, some of their prices are a little up there, but if you're anything like me, and don't frequent BBQ places often, it's a rare but enjoyable treat. Sometimes you have to splurge and live a little. Also, they have their regular sauce on tables, but you now have to ask the cashier for their sublime coffee BBQ sauce. Don't be shy, ask. It's worth it. Oh, pro tip: If you want beef ribs, the 'plate' is actually cheaper and a better deal than 'by the pound', so save a little money and get two sides.

Perfectly juicy, tender, and packed with smoky flavor. But what really puts this place over the top is the tater tot casserole. Great sides can make the meal, and this one absolutely does. It's ridiculously good... like I'd happily eat an entire bowl of just the casserole. We ordered the brisket, pork ribs, beef rib, both sausages, and, of course, a whole lot of tater tot casserole. While you're waiting in line, they hand out samples of the brisket so you can decide whether you want lean or fatty. Fatty all day for me. The beef rib was massive and had an incredible smoky flavor, but low-key, I think the sausages ended up being my favorite meat of the day. They were juicy, flavorful, and didn't get overshadowed by everything else. We got there around 11:00 a.m. on a Saturday and waited about an hour in line. It sounds long, but they make it easy with water and drinks available for purchase while you wait. The staff was friendly the entire time- from the people managing the line to the servers and the bussers making rounds through the dining room. Whatever you do... don't skip the tater tot casserole

There are no frills about this place, it honestly just feels like your ma and pa shop. There are a few seats at the restaurant, I think this is a good spot for you to order to go. Here's what we ordered. I got the Fried catfish with green beans and cabbage and my friend ordered the chopped beef sandwich with fries. I definitely had to get some kool aid as well. My fish was cooked to perfection. It was fried hard & the batter was crispy. The batter didn't miss a pinch of seasoning. Probably one of the best fried catfish's I've had. The green beans and cabbage were forgettable. Seasoning wasn't really there except for heat. My friend sandwich was decent. The bread was nicely toasted with butter. The meat could've been more tendered but not bad because it was seasoned. Maybe a little salty but better than bland. The fries was definitely made in house and it was delicious. My kool aid was made just right, sweet. Overall, it was very good. I would come back just for the catfish. They definitely made it with love. Next time I'll try something different along with the catfish as well. Shoutout to Regina, I think she's the owner/manager. Great service.
