Best part was the customer service member Katara understand us perfectly and help us out not to mix our food with pork products. This was surprising but real we thanked her so much. My husband is a big fan of bbq so naturally he was eager to try this new place. I enjoy a good bbq plate also therefore we came here in a Saturday for lunch. It wasn't too packed which was nice and we grabbed a tray and ordered. There's plenty of meat selection from St Louis ribs or baby back ribs to brisket and pulled pork. There's a few side options for your meal including okra, fries and Mac n cheese. I got the sausage sandwich and he got the three meat plate. Overall it was fine, not great. My favorite part was the bbq sauce the sandwich was served with. The portion sizes are decent but the cost is pretty up there. Once seated they bring you freshly baked rolls and also ice cream at the end of the meal. Due to the cost of the meal we will be back but probably less often than we would like. read more

We always have good food and good service here. Especially the ones making the nice hot biscuits. Except one time we were there, the person that makes the biscuits won't doing her job. She was checking her phone or talking with her coworker. I've asked her to see when we're getting the freshly baked biscuits, she said it's coming. She was just standing there behind the counter and doing nothing. We were there for about an hour and she came by one time. I am a huge fan of Spring Creek. I was excited when I found out they they were opening up a new location near me. I have been to this new Spring Creek 3 times now. Each time has been as disappointing as the last. I am not sure why their BBQ is over cooked and dry. I want my brisket to be flavorful and tender. I shouldn't have to drown my brisket in BBQ sauce to get it to go down. I wouldn't expect fast food BBQ from a restaurant. I was driving out a different location about once a week to get their BBQ. Now that this new location has opened. Along with the disappointment. I don't even want to eat my favorite cuisine. read more

New to Richmond, so I tried it out. At first, I thought it was like Luby's, but that is not the case. The ambiance is very family friendly, and the service is superb. I had the Baby Back ribs with baked potato and coleslaw. It was great and especially during the lunch specials. I went in there on a Tuesday night after doing my straight training workout basically trying to get some protein from some good barbecue that's how this all started. I place my order for three meat entrée and picked up my two sides they had two different kinds of ribs so I asked if those could be considered Two of the threeentrées and they said yes. So I placed my order as such paid for it and sat down with my drink expecting to get my food pretty quickly and get the heck out of there because I was already sweaty from working out. After sitting there about 20 minutes the girl that rang me up took my money came and said we can't give you both kinds of ribs you have to pick one or the other and I said I don't understand she said well they just told me and so I had to pick another substitute for one of the two ribs it was now 30 minutes and I was not happy. I basically was told one thing and I had to do another and wasted my time waiting for my food and not getting what I was told I ordered but having it changed at the last minute and just looking down at the food line they clearly had enough of both. So I wanted to share this experience and let others know as well they also seem to be very strict about where you go to place a walkout order and where are you go to place a dine in order. I don't think I'll be going back the long way the confusion and then coming home call food there's got to be better barbecue places? read more

I visit this location at least once a week and always get the same three plate combination with marble brisket, chicken and sausage! Everyone at this location is super friendly. They even go table to table offering fresh bread. Love this place! read more

What an utter disappointment!!! My wife and I went there on Saturday night only to leave with sadness and disappointment. The brisket both the lean and fatty were dry and flavorless. The turkey reminded me of a frozen turkey loaf we get from the grocery store since it tasted like pressed artificial turkey. The dark meat chicken was stringy, cold, and bland. The mac n cheese reminded me of a box of cheap generic mac n cheese you buy at a dollar store. The corn had been soaking so long in water all the flavor had to have been washed away. There was no way it was ever fresh corn. The fries are made to order yet still unimpressive. They were hot yet that is the only positive comment I could make. The only item we know was fresh were the rolls as we saw those come out of the oven. The best part of the meal was the carbonated water from the machine. It had a refreshing taste we enjoyed. Understandably we came in at 7pm yet we expected the meal to be enjoyable. My wife would not even eat the food it was so bad. I even had to debate if the food was even decent enough to feed to my dog since it was unappealing. If we had gone to Sam's to buy a rotisserie chicken, the grocery store to purchase a packaged brisket, pressed turkey loaf and fries, the meal would have been dramatically better. We also would have had spent less than we did for a meal we regretted. Needless to say, this is the first and last time we will dine there. When I decide to dine out, I expect the food to be better than what I can make at home. The food here was worse than what I could ever make at home.
