Prices have def gone up since 2020, but that's expected (prices are still reasonable). Seemed pretty busy with take-out orders, but i wouldn't go out of my way, honestly. MEAT PLATE WITH 2 SIDES ($32 because I added extra meat) - sliced brisket ($20)- dry. I could already tell by looking at it. On a positive note, it was lean and not fatty. - jalapeno sausage ($5)- good. Tad spicy. - added ribs ($7 for 2)- ok. Not fall off the bone. - buttered red potatoes- good - mac n cheese- good but not as good as I remembered. Small plate + 1 side ($9) - turkey + coleslaw For my mom. Coleslaw was good. Everything! Yes, everything is so good at Witt Pit. I've dined here several times in the last 5 years and I've never been disappointed. I noticed that they painted the outside of the building and made several changes. It's so cute. I ordered my meal to-go and enjoyed it during my drive to San Antonio. The ribs and brisket were very tender and moist. As always. Green beans and buttered potatoes were flavorful and tasted good when combined on the fork. We came over this way to take our kid to a show at the Fort Bend Epicenter and decided on a late lunch/early dinner in the area afterwards. Being the bbq connoisseur that he is, the fiance wanted to check out Witt Pitt BBQ cause of the high reviews. There were a steady stream of people the whole time we were there and because of tables pulled together for a large party, there was absolutely zero places to sit. Staff was so friendly though and asked folks to condense themselves so we could split off a 2 top for us. Thank you for looking out. We ordered in line as you would any bbq joint; the difference with this one was that they didn't fill the orders quickly in real time - there was actually quite a wait here and it took maybe 15-20 mins to get everything we ordered. Food was decent. I can't say the bbq or sides blew my mind, but the bbq was tender, just lacking flavor on that bark. The Witt Potatoes were super greasy fully loaded.. so much so that there was a pool of grease I was trying to avoid on the bottom of the container. Mac n cheese was creamy, ribs were pull off the bone.. my toddler loved the giant cookie. Parking can be sparse as well since the restaurant is located in a converted house! Rosenberg Tx is probably not the thriving tourist destination you'd imagine, but they have a terrific little bbq joint that packs in a lunch crowd. I was delighted to find outdoors seating on the quaint front porch. Expected Andy Griffith to arrive at any moment to sample melt-in-your-mouth brisket with the deepest smoke ring I could imagine! I was back in Texas visiting some family. We live in Florida now and excellent BBQ is hard to find. Witt had great reviews and my dad also recomended it. We went for lunch on a Saturday. It wasnt too busy but when we left it started to get crowded. The interior is like a an iold house and it has a great home style vibe. I ordered the brisket plate and added an extra meat which was the ribs. The brsket was awesome. Super tender and flavorful with a slight char on the edges. The ribs were fall off the bone good. Their sauce is semi sweet and has smal chunks of onion in it. It went perfectly with the meats. I had beans and potato salad for my sides. The sides were good but nothng crazy spectacular. But we arent here for sides we come here for the MEAT! A bonus was the banana pudding. My wife got it and she said it was the best she has ever had. I tried it and it was tasty. If you are in the houston area this is one of the best BBQ spots in the city and I recomend you go try it out! read more

Amazing BBQ. We visited on a whim while in the Houston area and definitely worth the trip. Great food, nice people.

I usually don't have a reason to be in Rosenberg, but as we were in town to go to a wrestling show, we saw this place existed. Least favorite thing - gravel parking lot. Aside from that, the restaurant gave the impression it was a tiny hut of a place. Once you look to your left, you see the sneakily hidden eating area. I enjoyed the bar b que sandwich and macaroni and cheese. I wish they had pepper...maybe I missed it. I felt it was scrumptious and filling. Things that were nice to see was that they were great with customer service and many patrons who went there for the same reasons I did, kept remarking how much they loved the place and how much they enjoyed the service. I didn't need help from the staff, but personally I like going to restaurants and people watch happy customers. And to see 2 different groups rave is impressive. We placed an order online for takeout - everything was ready when I arrived and oh my goodness- everything was delicious. Everyone says you can't go wrong with Texas BBQ. At first I was sad that I didn't get a side order of BBQ sauce- but the only thing I would have added it to was the chicken- and honestly we really didn't miss it. We went with brisket (not marbled) and it was melt in your mouth good! The smoked turkey was super moist. The ribs were coated with a nice peppery dry rub and they were fall off the bone tender. Normally the sides don't get the same type of love but, not here! The mac & cheese was creamy and cheesy, the cole slaw was finely chopped with a nice mustard, vinegar, slightly tangy vibe and the green beans were cooked just right. We ordered 2 banana pudding and 2 peach cobbler desserts, but it was the end of the day and sadly they ran out. (They kindly threw in a few cookies- which were a huge hit with the kiddos) I've only had peach cobbler a few times but this was the most memorable! 2-3 years ago Witt BBQ was recommended and we went. It was good, but not outstanding. Last Saturday we went again with friends and WOW the food was amazing!! The Staff were efficient. They were busy but the wait was short. Our food came quickly after we placed our order. I had the chopped baked potato and my husband had the brisket sandwich. Prices were great for the amount of food. The only problem we had was parking, but we were able to manage that and we are really glad we did. read more

We are from out of state and found this place online and decided to try it. Went today for a late lunch. Two of us had the brisket plate and two of us had the pulled pork. The brisket was the best we have ever had. Seasoned perfectly, tender and melted in your mouth Pulled pork was really good too. Everyone had the buttered red potatoes and mac n cheese. The potatoes were so flavorful...highly recommend. We also ordered a Peach Cobbler and Banana Pudding to share. The peach cobbler was amazing.
