This is the best teriyaki/veit restaurant I have ever been to. Definitely my new favorite. The service was great, the server was on top of drinks, asking us if we needed anything else He was a great nice guy with an excellent attitude. The food was also extremely excellent. Both of our meals came at the same time steaming hot and fresh. The vegetables were crisp and fresh. The Mongolian beef was so tender and perfect and the barbecue pork chow mein was to die for. Stopped by while running errands. We ordered the spring rolls and chicken teriyaki. The spring rolls didn't have much in the way of flavor, no fresh herbs or spices. The chicken teriyaki was just okay. Nothing remarkable. We've had better takeout. Atmosphere was quaint. Dining area had a TV with sports on, which was a distraction. Service was good. read more

I didn't like the food when this place first opened, so the initial review was horrible. In fact, when they first opened, their spring rolls were just awful. My how things change :) So yes, the menu has changed a bit, and while I don't get many things from this place, I will say this: GET THE MANGO SPRING ROLLS. NOW. Those blasted little rolls of Nirvana are the BEST spring rolls I've ever had. Anywhere. If you like sweetened fish dipping sauce, bean sprouts, basil, fried tofu, shrimp, mango, rice noodles, and lettuce all rolled together, this is where the buck stops. After trying their combo teriyaki (pork, beef, and chicken) this evening, I can honestly say it was the most bland, boring, and Ill prepared teriyaki dish I have ever had in my life. The vegetables on the side consisted of blanched cabbage, broccoli, carrot, and green peppers; of which were basically raw. Too bad I substituted additional veggies in place of rice. This also came with a side green salad of only iceberg letter with a ranch type of dressing. Worst $10 teriyaki combo ever. To add insult to injury, unbeknownst to me, there is a teriyaki joint right next door that is actually open on Sundays. read more

We were a walk-in take-out order on a Tuesday night and while the staff was very friendly, the service was incredibly slow. It took over 25 minutes to get two orders of Pho to go. That would be understandable if it was busy, but there were only two other customers in the restaurant and one of those customers was finishing up as I arrived. The upside; the Pho broth was tasty and the ratio of noodles, vegetables and meat was perfect. The downside; our order of Brisket wound up being meatballs. The double downside: I am pretty sure the meatballs were really chunks of Italian Sausage, not Vietnamese meatballs. Regardless, the food was good quality and very tasty, but next time I will order ahead and check my order before I leave. read more

Our beef, pork and chicken teriyaki tasted old. The beef was tough and bland. Same with chicken and pork. Had an order of spring rolls and the lettuce was brown on the ends. Ended up tossing all of it. Also the salad that came with the teriyaki was old too. I would not recommend this place. read more

This used to be good a few years ago, but I think this will be my last time coming here. Service is so poor lately, we had 4 entrees and each came out 10 minutes apart and one had to be remade after reminding the server several times about the dish needing to have no eggs. No apologies from the waiter at all. Sweet and sour chicken was gross, hard and dry and greasy and some of the pieces were just fried batter with no chicken. Seems dirtier lately too. I test the restaurant based on their broth, first. So happy to see it's still the same. The broth is clean and flavorful. Out of so many other pho places, my fave is this restaurant and another place in Woodinville. I'm picky about pho. The other dishes I love is orange chicken. I never order this, but when I tried my son's dish, I'm hooked. The steamed dumplings are amazing, as well. The vermicelli noodle with meat and egg rolls are tangy and delicious, as well. My family and I are regulars at this restaurant - it's one of our favorites in town. The ambience is relaxing and inviting, there are booths to sit in, tables for larger groups, and even tables for smaller groups. The decor is pretty and really adds to the dining experience, it's just relaxing to eat there, even when it's busy. The lighting is comfortable (not too bright and not too dark). It's always a treat to sit down at Spring Kitchen and have a delicious meal. They have kids eat free on Tuesdays and it can get crowded, but it's fun for our family. The staff is really attentive and friendly as soon as you arrive, and the food usually arrives pretty quickly, there have been some days where every table is full and they were understaffed, but we experienced that one or two times during kids eat free days. You could see them scrambling though and they were still super friendly. One of my favorites go to meal is the Pho noodle soup, and they have 12 different ways to prepare it, so it's never boring. The Pho broth they use is beef based, but they also offer a vegetarian based broth, which is also delicious. We've also had their teriyaki, general tsao, and several other menu items and have loved every recipe. I'm really picky with meat because I can tell when it's not fresh, and their chicken, beef, and pork are always fresh, that's one of the reasons we go love going there. They also offer Tofu dishes, and those are just as delicious. I've had fried tofu to replace my meat dishes several times, and the taste of the tofu takes on the flavors of the dish. They fry the tofu just right so it's crispy enough not to get soggy in the dish when it mixes with the other ingredients. I highly recommend Spring Kitchen. read more

Decided to check out this place because it was local. I seen that it had a lot of different reviews from different customers. I definitely would have to say that I was very impressed with this place as far as the atmosphere, and wait staff they were definitely on top of their game. I was extremely impressed on how fast their service was once we ordered our food. The food came out at a quick time and usually that's not a good thing. However, the quality of food was outstanding. I was extremely impressed with their food presentation, and their taste of their food. The only thing that I would suggest is that maybe they need to open up a little bit more of an alcohol menu. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody. In addition, we will definitely be back to this place to eat again. I definitely give this place high reviews. read more

I enjoy the pho, and I especially like that kids eat free on Tuesdays. I can get my big bowl of pho and my kid can get chicken teriyaki at no extra cost. The downside is that the portions are small. I can eat an entire bowl of large no meat pho, and not feel like I'm stuffed and going to die. My 5 year old was not impressed with the amount of food he was served as well. He finished his food in about 5 minutes. Good flavor, but they can work a little harder on portion size. read more

It's a great place for the local area. The price is a little on the spendy side, but not too bad. However, you could taste the freshness in the food, and the authentic flavors are well complemented. My family & I have been coming to this restaurant for about a year, due to its convenient location, just 5 minutes away from our house. I usually order the Brisket & Meatball Pho, with extra green onions. The food is always on a scale from okay to great but nothing too wowing. The first time I came here, my sister ordered the Orange Chicken. The portion was way to small and she finished it very quickly. After a few months we visited again and she ordered the same thing again. When the dish came out, I was pretty happy they changed the portion size and added mor food! I love the look and feel of the restaurant and the bathrooms are always clean. This review is based on there food only. The service was ok, however when a customer says the pho is bland and tasteless and does not eat it, some sort of comp should be given, but it was not. The Pho Tai Chin broth was nothing more than watered down beef stock. No aromatics, or depth of flavor at all. There other food might be ok but I will never know as I will not be going back. Based on the other reviews here it seams this is a common occurrence at this restaurant. I hope they figure it out someday and can cook a good Pho broth. read more

Second time eating here and I was bitterly disappointed...again. I ordered the chicken breast teriyaki for $8.95 and was served a small square plate of uninviting food: side of hearts of romaine trying to pass as a salad with ranch dribbled on, small scoop of white rice (205g ), and thin slices of teriyaki that were overcooked and hard (155g). I'm a big guy not in the sense of fat and overweight, but I do know a decent portion size that'll satisfy my appetite when I see one. This did not fit the bill or fit and fill!! OK, I get the whole disability act and that owners of restaurants are not allowed to ask wether an animal is a care animal or not etc etc. But as a dog owner myself and as an educated person on the training of care animals this I know, care animals are trained to lay on the ground at the owners feet especially in food establishments. So you can imagine my shock when I walked into this restaurant and saw a dog being allowed to be not only up at the table but being fed right off the table And I mean the owner was putting food on the table and the dog was lapping it up off the table. I do think this is somehow violating some health laws. The staff seemed very unconcerned which prompted me to tell them there would be no need to serve us. We left and I have to say my appetite was severely impeded for the rest of the evening. read more
