One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to in south King County. Ordered again this eve and it was hot and ready in only ten minutes! The chicken Pad Thai comes in a large container ( I always have enough left over to have another meal of it ). I ordered satay as well but the Pad Thai was such a large portion that I am saving it for next day. The satay comes with cucumber salad and peanut sauce. I poured both over my pad Thai because there was only a tiny condiment cup of the cucumber salad, so I was disappointed in the portion size, but otherwise it was very tasty. Just wish it came with a larger amount, as the appetizer is supposed to be satay with cucumber salad. Overall, the meal was still hot and delicious, and the Thai tea is one of the best ever. We ordered some food for delivery. I've tried the location in Kent before, and thought it was alright, but that was so many years ago. We ordered Spicy Noodle, Crispy Garlic Chicken, and Basil Fried Rice. Everything was good, although I'm sure it would've been better if were able to eat right away at the restaurant. I ordered the fried rice and noodles at 5 stars spiciness, and I didn't find them spicy at all. And that's what I remember when I last ate at the one in Kent, that I couldn't taste any spiciness at 5 stars. I had to add my own chili oil. Everything still was good flavor. Fried rice was a teeny bit mushy for me, but could been because of the delivery, and by the time I was able to eat it. read more

We did take out from here over the weekend and were extremely disappointed. We ordered Thai Basil Chicken fried rice (absolutely no flavor of basil), chicken pad see ew (noodles were still white, lacking sauce or seasoning), and the beef pad ki mao (only item even seasoned in our order). We decided to give this spot a try last night for dinner. I've lived in MV for 19 years and didn't even know this cute little place was there. The restaurant itself was very clean and open The gal that waited on us was super friendly and kind to us. Now for the food Fresh spring rolls. These were delicious. They tasted fresh and had really good flavor. The only thing that threw me that I didn't like was the warm (temperature wise) peanut sauce. That mixed with the cold spring rolls wasn't my favorite and found myself wanting cold peanut sauce. It's possible had I asked they had some but I didn't. 4/5 Pad Thai 1 . This was delicious everything had fresh I gradients. 5/5 would order again. Sizzling heavenly beef. Let me just start by saying there wasn't anything heavenly about this dish. The meat was soft and tender, but the only flavor that came through was chili powder. It wasn't a bad flavor but I was hoping for more than chili powder taste with each bite. I was excited for the sizzling beef and onions. It's one of my favorite things. The onions were caramelized BUT they were extremely mushy. It reminded me of onions that's I'd cermelized a few days before and then tried to reheat a couple of times. So instead of the partially crunchy texture I was hoping for was just mush in my mouth. Very off putting. At it being the most expensive item we ordered I hoped for so much more. 1/5 would not order this again. All in all I'd come back if I was in the area. I seldom order Pad Thai (more of a Pad See Ew or Pad Kee Mao type), but I liked it a lot to my surprise. Amazing flavorful thai food! The best we have had in Maple Valley by far. We used to go to their location in Kent, and now they have one closer to home. The flavors in all the dishes are authentic and bold, especially the lime kaffir, thai basil, and the curries. Be careful when you ask for thai hot, because that thai 5 star will get you! Ting Tong Thai in Kent is always one of my favorite Thai restaurants. In Kent, I could only get order to go because the place is too small. This new location has a lot more room and nicely decorated. The quality of the food is still there. The owner is so friendly and work so hard to keep this restaurant running. I would definitely come back again. read more

Food was average and would have been acceptable except for too many small problems. Beef salad might be for you if you like tough, chewy meat. Flavors were okay but too much chewing. Red curry was supposed to have Thai eggplant and it might have - one tiny piece that could also have been green pepper. Also, at 4 star it was very mild - the same as my 2 star beef salad. Worst, though was the rice. For $2.25 you get the smallest takeout container and it's 2/3 full, very loosely packed. I normally can eat about half of a normal order of takeout rice. Picked up a togo order of Pad Kee Mao Chicken 4 star. The restaurant was empty at 1:30PM. My first time trying this location. Solid flavors and nice level of spice. The chicken was tender and fresh crunchy vegetables brought the whole dish together. A little more expensive than I'd like but worth it. I'll be back! read more

The food was delicious. I ordered a spice level 2 to catch a baseline since it was our first time eating here. They did have a side tray of different chili to augment the spice level. I usually prefer to eat my Thai food pretty spicy, but it was nice to try the dish with less spice than normal--you can taste the dish before you add the spice and it was very flavorful. They weren't too busy so the food came out pretty quick. The gentleman who takes the orders is really friendly and funny. He was great company to chat with and provided great suggestions. Love Ting Tong and was excited for them to come to Maple Valley. Sadly, we ordered pick/up and we're given pad thai when we ordered chicken satay. Also, the mango sticky rice had so little coconut sauce that I could barely taste it. The mango was tasteless as well. New place and we decided to give it a try , the food was different from rest of the thai places and felt it was a little customized Thai than the original. Everything was mild though we asked for spicy and the food as such was bland. We had to add salt and a whole lot of sauce to make it flavorful. Ordered gluten free pad thai, pad see ew, and spring rolls. All were really good! My husband and I normally have upset stomachs after eating thai food, and were elated when we felt fine after.
