I have been coming to this nail place for almost a year. I always leave a good tip $10 for the girl that does my nails. Nikki does my nails and every time she is in a bad mood. Never happy and gets mad if you ask her to change or fix something. Also the manger told me that only Taylor and Nikki are good at doing dip nails. But what about the other girls that are doing nails there all the time. ??!!! I called them 3 times and left 2 messages but they just ignored me. Whenever I call they never pickup the phone. They also never answer messages. I called today and nobody picked up the phone. But when my mom called on her phone they picked up Right away! I don't understand this terrible treatment towards customers. I don't ask for anything crazy just one color and same shape and length always. It's not a crazy hard thing to do. Whenever I call and ask for Nikki she is ALWAYS not in the salon or busy. Same with Taylor. This is some horrible customer treatment! Also they don't have a specific price sheet. I met Amy many years ago when I first got my nails done in Elk Grove. I can't say enough about her. She I extremely talented and good at what she does. She is thorough and follow every details to the T. She is extremely thorough, fast and does it very efficiently. She truly listens to what you want and deliver without disappointing. She's been doing nails for over 20 years. I have recently moved to the Bay Area but remained a loyal customer to Amy. I would drive back to Sacramento when I need my nails done. I am 2 hours from where she is but despite the drive, I will drive to her rain or shine. It is hard to find someone who truly knows you, care about you and do what you want. I'm really happy with the pedicure I received at Spring Nail Spa yesterday. They seem to be closely adhering to the guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Only every other pedicure chair was in use to promote social distancing. All employees and guests were required to have masks. When I sat down, my technician helped me pick a pretty pink color that I love! The price for the most basic pedicure increased from $25 to $30, but I can understand since they have to reduce the amount of people in the salon at one time. The worse experience ever. I made an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. It was scheduled at 3:30. I arrived at 3:25. Guess what time I left? 6:45pm! My nails were suppose to be done at the same and it wasn't. I wasn't too concerned because I figured I'll be done max by 5pm! My manicure was okay. Lots of skin was pulled. My pedicure on the other hand was the worse! The lady kept messing up on the gel and had to keep redoing it. She had to redo it 3 times and those who know, taking gel off and repainting is a process. Finally when she got it right, I went to pay and I wasn't going to say anything because I figured the gal at the front desk knew how long I'd been there and would provide some kind of a discount. I mean time is money. There's a reason why I went in on a Thursday afternoon. She had no sympathy whatsoever. Gave me two stamps instead of one on their "rewards" card. I left after paying $110 for this. I got home and was still fuming. My back is killing me after sitting for over 3 hours! I called and asked for the owners name. Apparently they don't give that out. The gal on the phone had the audacity to tell me that I should have scheduled the mani pedi together which I did in the first place! Overall, it was a horrible experience. I would be careful when going here and giving them your business. If you value your time....go some where else. I will be giving my business to peachandivyfolsom where they value their customers and their time! I went in for a fill and Victoria was my tech. She was pretty good but did however cut my cuticle on my pinky. I would say that would be on me because I wash and sanitize my hands a lot and do tend to dry out. I try my best to keep them moisturized. I did notice that a couple of my nails were a bit crooked as well. I eventually took off the acrylic to let my nails breath for a while. I went in over the weekend as soon as they opened to get a full set. A lady had told me she didn't have time to do it and asked for me to go back at 1. I said no because I have a wedding to go to and that's why I went AS soon as they opened. I was a bit disappointed no one could at least do the set for me because of all the positive reviews I've seen. They have replaced the La Bella Nail Salon that was in this location. Totally new staff and decor! Staff were welcoming and friendly. I had Cindi do my deluxe pedicure-she did an excellent job and went a little over the scheduled hour for treatment:no complaints from me as I enjoyed the lower leg and foot massage for those extra minutes! The decor is bright, with a flush mount crystal chandelier and with the theme throughout. Very clean too! They offer a 20% discount after 5 services of a minimum of $20. Having been going to this Salon for a few years now and noticed something different today... I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it is under new management and they have one exciting updates in store. In addition to renovating they will also be adding a lot of new color options for gel and gel dip. Even adding organic options. I had a manicure and pedicure at the same time but would recommend to take your time as I will be doing in the future. Both technicians were wonderful, the music was a welcome change to the TV playing random stations including news. My nails look awesome and the customer service is excellent! The place is very nice looking inside and has a nice atmosphere to it as well. Everything looks to be clean and well organized. They have a great selection of colors to choose from. They had a ring of Halloween themed nail designs showing so that led me to believe that they had good design skills. I just went for a pedicure though and didn't want design. I did want gel color and they charge 15$ for that. I thought it was a bit pricey but I was okay with it still. I got the 45$ pedicure which I believe was their 2nd option for pedicures. Now 60$ for a pretty basic pedicure with gel better be good in my opinion. The lady was very nice, but my pedicure wasn't great. My water was cold like I just turned the faucet on cold, which is partially my fault for not saying anything but she also never asked me how it was. She accidentally cut my toes and my cuticles were hurting. She asked me if I wanted my nails trimmed and I said yes just a little bit and she trimmed/filed them down to the nub. She did do a very nice paint job though and gave a good massage. With everything that happened and price I wouldn't go back at least not for a pedicure read more

I have experienced a painful ingrown toenail for almost two months. I tried a new nail spa last month and it only exacerbated the problem. Yesterday I had embarrassingly an infection in my big toe. THe blankets on my bed were painful disturbances for my toe. My agony was do I go to a doctor or to a really good pedicurist? I saw reviews that Sandy was excellent for ingrown toes so I went with a tiny bit of hope but with huge fear and trepidation. I love the Covid protocols for this place. They take your temp and they wash everything carefully. All the precautions imaginable. They even give you a plastic glove to grab your nail polish. Sandy deftly and with surgical precision removed the offending nails. Who knew what evil could lurk in the depths of one big toe? She wanted to give me a new whole bottle of this amazing Chinese oil which is methyl salicylate and a painkiller/disinfectant. I paid her for that and a generous tip but walked out pain-free and unbelievably grateful for my new pedicure goddess, as I call her, Dr. Sandy. read more

I went to Spring Nail Spa because my normal nail salon isn't open. They have a setup outdoors to make it Covic-19 safe...pretty ingenious. I had new tips and gel applied and it was almost 2x more expensive than my local salon, but worth it. Spring would become my go-to place except for one thing put me off. My technician barely had a mask at all. It came to a tiny point on her nose and barely covered it. That was when she actually bothered to wear it. When I asked her to pull it back up she did, and said she had to breath when she worked. But when it slipped down again, she didn't bother to pull it up. There are no shields here because they do the manicures outside. So for an hour we were face to face about 2 feet apart. I tipped her 20%, but shouldn't have left anything. I won't be back again. Too bad because her work was excellent. read more
