However, as an existing patient, the next appt they had available was 8 1/2 months out. Stop accepting new patients if you can not handle the ones that you already have. It's a slap in the face. It's also a zoo when you go in there. It's very hectic and I've never seen the same hygienist more than once. They also have an annoying habit of pestering you. For example, I had a 1pm appt. I was parking the car and at 1:01pm I get a call asking if I'm still coming. However, on multiple visits I've waited in the lobby 15 minutes past the appointment time to be taken in. So they are fine with making you wait but 1 minute late on your part and it's an issue.

I first moved to Las Vegas from New York City (Manhattan) in July of 2023, and because NYC healthcare in general is in my opinion, a cut above a lot of other places, I kept going back to my NYC dentist for my Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 check-ups and cleanings. But by Fall 2024, I knew it was time to find someone local. After a meticulous search, I arrived upon this office and based on reviews online from multiple sources, decided to try it. And I was not disappointed at all. Cindy was my hygienist and had amazing bedside manner so to speak, and we had an awesome conversation as I had my teeth cleaned. Jen at the front desk was, is, and probably always will be an extremely pleasant, warm, and welcoming presence in the office. You will notice I actually got a chance to get to know the staff. And finally Dr. Gelo himself is skillful, super competent, and while I wasn't looking for this, to my relief, is a New Yawker. And the reason why I put such a premium on ppl from New York is because we have a work ethic and drive that I don't think exists to the same extent anywhere else in the country. I called with a dental emergency, and they got me in right away. I didn't have to wait, and they only took the X-rays that were actually needed. They even offer a free new patient exam and X-rays, which was a wonderful bonus these days. Dr. Tina Liang has such a kind and compassionate heart. She could tell I was scared. I have very high anxiety to begin with and absolutely hate needles, but she explained everything she was doing, never rushed me, and stayed right by my side the whole time. Even though the office was busy, I never felt like I was just another patient. Unfortunately, I had to have two teeth pulled because they couldn't be saved. I never once felt pressured into doing anything I didn't need. There was no upselling just honest, compassionate care. That meant so much to me you don't know. The entire staff was wonderful, and so friendly, patient, and caring. If I still had young kids at home, I wouldn't hesitate to take them there. I know how hard it is to find a dentist you can truly trust and have the compassion that she and there office have, so I just wanted to come back and share my experience. I normally don't like the dentist due to traumatic experiences from the past at other offices, but they made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Karen was my hygienist who had the lightest touch definitely would see her again! However, Aces Dental staff has always made me feel at ease about my visits. And to be honest it's no ones fault but my own for whatever I need to get done lol From my experience I feel like they truly care about my dental health. Relaxing while I wait but usually I don't wait long. Approx 5-15 mins Dr Le and his team are friendly, professional and efficient. He's the only dentist I know that would administer anesthesia and then ask if I feel any pain when he start working on me and stop to give me more anesthesia if I still feel pain. That's how a dentist should be!! I can't tell you how many dentists I've had in the past who starts drilling my teeth without asking if I feel any pain so I'm gripping my chair til my knuckles are white and bear the pain no matter how slight. Communication is the key. Dr Le definitely communicate with his patients and I thank him greatly for that. That's what keeps me coming back for years. Also altho he had a change of receptionist the girls, are always friendly and professional and very accommodating. They will squeeze you in if there's space. Also, their pricing compared to other dentists is inflated. They did not submit the proper X-rays initially for the procedure and did a procedure that insurance does not approve of and then they just dump all the responsibility onto the patient. The insurance required a professional dentist to justify the procedure they chose and they refused to work with the insurance to get the approval. They flat out don't care who pays. The dentist is a nice guy but beyond that, it is a total disaster. Also very difficult to get anyone on the phone and even after leaving voicemails, they don't call back sometimes too
