We were in Springfield for the weekend and wanted to try out Springfield Acai Bowl. When we arrived, we were greeted with smiling faces and were helped with what to get. They have several flavor combinations that are all destination themed. They also have several different bases and you can create your own. My 11 year old had never had a bowl before anywhere so he was excited to try something. The staff let him sample the base before he ordered. He got the raspberry base, strawberries and raspberries, Nutella, peanut butter, and chocolate chips. He LOVED it! Also asked to go back every weekend (and we would if we weren't almost 3 hours away)!! My mom and I shared the Cuba. We highly recommend both! The shop itself was bright, clean, and family friendly. They have tables to sit at and also an assortment of games that you can play while you enjoy your treat. The owners are amazing people and you should definitely give it a try. read more

I had never had an acai bowl before (very picker eater here). I ordered the blue cream base having no idea what it taste like, with granola, bananas, and strawberries. I was pleasantly surprised that I like the blue. It tastes like an ocean slushie. The fruit was fresh and ripe and I gobbled the whole thing down. I will be coming back for more. read more

I've never had a açaí bowl so this was my first time. I tried the açaí base, the passion fruit base, and the dragon fruit base, but out of the three dragon fruit was my favorite. The Cuba bowl was delicious, perfect for breakfast! The place itself is very clean, nice, the music matches the vibe, the lady in the front was really nice and she didn't rush us to order. Out shopping a little on Saturday afternoon had me craving something refreshing, and of course an Acai Bowl would do the trick. I got a build your bowl with a mango base, fresh blueberries and strawberries on top. Then with coconut, almonds and honey to make it complete. It was the best! very flavorful. The honey really made everything much more enjoyable. It's definitely now one of my favorites. Can't wait to try many more. read more

Delicious, pretty and healthy! Had a breakfast date with my gluten free celiac hubby today. The place is very clean (bathrooms included). Everything is gluten free except for the waffle which the gal told me was kept totally separate from everything else. The fruit toppings are all fresh and really good. They have a pretty varied menu with different "bases" and toppings or you can build your own. They also have smoothies and caffeinated energy drinks. Currently open 7 am-6 pm. Too expensive! That must be why they had to close their 2nd location. It's not something people can afford to get very often.

I thought I would grab a refresher drink. It was $6. I know a lot of those health drinks with protein are around the same price. However, I learned from the young girl working there that it is simply sugar free packets from Walmart. So easy to make myself. I'm guessing it would be less than $1 to make one if you broke it down. Plus, they contain aspartame or Sucralose artificial sweeteners that are so bad for you to drink. Not healthy. I would have purchased a bowl but after seeing the nutritional value, a bowl has so much sugar. It doesn't matter that's it may be "organic", it is still sugar. And by the time you add the fruit, it has more sugar than any one person should consume in a day. This place acts as if it is healthy but it really is not. I wish I had taken a picture. read more

For the bowl I think it was a little pricey. I got the 12oz Costa rica and it cost me $11.50 plus tax. Was $9.50 plus extra $2 for something I don't know. The bowl was not alot of ingredients in there, very basically. The blue cream was like a little layer, I didn't think it was alot when i mix up with the pineapples n strawberry and nut. Its not like orange leaf, I get it, but still over $11 it have to meet expectations. Also got a smoothie and my daughter think it was OK. read more

First time here, tried the energy drink slushes. Not sure what I was expecting, but I think I hoped for actual fruit juice and something non-artificial tasting... ordered Georgetown and the Roatan. Both were 32oz of chipped ice, flavored syrups and what appears to be food coloring. Tasted of strong artificial syrups- like melted snow cones or popsicles, which was disappointing. Husband even commented that it was almost like there was alcohol in them lol. Perhaps next time should just stick with the bowls. If we go back for the bowls I'll edit my review, I want to give this place a chance since literally everyone I've come across that's mentioned it has loved it. read more

This place deserves the full 5/5. It is such a healthy option for Springfield, and it tasted incredible! They have a lot of options, from fruity to nutty to chocolatey. They also have energy refreshers that are delicious! The 12 oz bowl filled me up, but you could definitely take the 16 oz home. The owners and employees were so kind and you can tell they were passionate about the restaurant! I also loved the beach/Caribbean theme of the restaurant. read more
