Absolute worst experience you could imagine with a hotel. Avoid at all costs. My wife booked and PAID for a room weeks in advance for her wedding party, only to show up and be told that it was given up to someone else because they had not shown up at 3pm check in and it was then "First come first serve". How can any business justify taking a customer's money, to then tell them they don't have a place to stay? Why would you accept payment to reserve a room, and then tell your guest they have nothing reserved. Absolutely unacceptable. The staff was completely incompetent and would refuse to accommodate appropriately, only offered an insulting $7 parking fee. On top of that, they offered a "discount room", which was the same amount that anyone could look up online. They didn't even offer a new room to fit everybody, when clearly online there were rooms open. This hotel needs to shut down their doors, and not open until the entire staff, including the management, learn what decent customer service is. So far all we have here is a business that takes money from customers and refuses what they paid for. If there is an error, they refuse to take responsibility and do right by the guests. Zero stars. Will never be staying here again or recommending to anybody coming to the area. read more

Really enjoyed our stay here. Room, bathroom, closet was very spacious and well-appointed. Very clean and the beds are comfortable. Enjoyed the lobby area and especially the fire pit patio in evening. There's a small snack area to purchase beer/wine and food items in lobby. The actual rooms and building is nice but the parking is stupid. When I found a space that my small SUV could fit I couldn't open the doors so I had to leave and try to find parking elsewhere and drag my suitcases. read more

We had a great time! Perfect place for a family vacation. They have a pool, which is a vacation must! They offer complimentary breakfast. The room felt super modern compared to you typical hotel room. The staff was super friendly too! You do have to pay $9/ day for parking which is totally lame. read more

Obviously would give zero stars if that was an option. Showed up at 10:30 the night before a wedding with the bride. We were told our room had been given up because we did not check in at 3 and the hotel is on a "first come first serve" basis. I have never heard of this policy - especially when the bride had called the hotel directly months before to reserve a large enough room for she and all her bridesmaids to stay. The room was paid for a head of time. We were told there were no rooms the size we needed to fit everyone and that we were going to get a "significant" discount on the rate of a different room. After looking up the hotel online to compare regular prices to the "significant" discount we were given we found out the room we were staying is was advertised as the discount price we were given. There were a lot of other inconveniences that we had endure the night before the wedding. It was a very unfortunate end to a great day we had celebrating and rehearsing for the big day. I have never written a negative review, but I find this absolutely necessary. If I can help another bride avoid such a head ache late at night before the most important day of their life, it is worth it. read more

I wish I could give this zero stars. If I could figure out how, I would. It started last night when my friend tried to check in here with her entire bridal party last night after her rehearsal dinner to spend the night before her wedding with all her bridesmaids. She had already paid for the room that would have enough beds for all 5 of them, and she also paid for their "trundle bed service" which was an extra charge. When they arrived last night, they were told their room had been given away to someone else because check in time was 3 o'clock and they were late. Like I said, they came after the rehearsal dinner, so it was about 10:30. The front desk tells them the only room they have left are with a king size bed and a couch, so they have no choice but to take that room, meaning one of them has to sleep on the floor. As if that wasn't enough, I now had to check in before the wedding. I requested early check in so my mom and I could get ready here before going to the wedding and then sleep here tonight. I called on the way and made sure my rooms were ready because I had requested early check in. They assured me both rooms I had reserved were all ready for me. When I arrived about a half hour later, neither of my rooms were ready but they had another one available that I could take instead if I wanted. We accepted and they said they would call us once the other room was ready. We get to the room they gave us and there is something smeared on the wall above the headboard. We called down and asked if it could be cleaned up. The woman that came to clean it up insisted that she had tried everything and it couldn't be cleaned. I asked if she could try so she did. Came right off. Oh yeah. I forgot to mention that the room they put us in was a handicapped room. Which would be fine, except the sink, ironing board, closet, and shower head, were all much lower than normal to accommodate a wheelchair. After still not hearing from the front desk when "normal check in" rolled around, we called down to see if our other room was ready YET. Turns out there was a shift change so a nice guy answered and had us moved from the handicapped room and also gave us our other room like it was no problem at all. He was surprised we hadn't gotten our rooms yet and apologized. This happened about ten minutes after we had gotten off the phone seeing if we could be moved to another room and were told there weren't any other rooms available and beyond that they are unable to move you to another room after you've been inside. WHAT?! It's insane that there are this many problems with two separate reservations in less than a 12 hour period. I've always been pleased with Marriott in the past but this entire experience was a nightmare. read more

Clean, modern and spacious. Updated technology was remarkable; great lighting on the bed furniture and plenty of charging ports. We even accessed our Netflix account through their tv. The breakfast was hot with plenty of options. read more

If you are visiting the area, you should stay here - if not for the new and ergonomic design, for the incredible customer service. During our stay, Billy was incredibly helpful, thoughtful, informative and totally overachieved in the category! It's sad to see so many negative reviews about this hotel when I had such a great experience there. I rarely leave long reviews, but I feel like I should because this hotel is getting pretty abused. We checked in on a Saturday night around 7:00 with no problem, despite the hotel being almost booked to capacity. The staff at the desk was wonderful. They could not get a member of housekeeping on the radio to verify if our room was ready, so the one staff person ran upstairs to check (it was ready) and called down to the front desk to send us up. The following morning was the Sunday of Labor Day weekend and they kept the breakfast buffet open an extra half hour to accommodate all the people. It was one of the better included hotel buffets I've ever had. No problem with keeping things stocked. The nice array of fruit was fresh every day we were there and they had nicer items than other hotels, like Chobani Greek yogurt, Nutella spread, and the bread products were never stale (unlike many hotels). Coffee was great with a variety of sweeteners and creamers, good collection of teas and cocoa. Bonus is that it is available in the lobby 24/7. Our room was immaculate, well-cared for, and furnished nicely. It was modern, yet still felt comfortable. Bed and pillows were fantastic. The one odd thing about our room was the placement of the bed--it faced the sliding barn door to the bathroom and was maybe about 4 feet between the foot of the bed and the bathroom. The door is made of frosted glass, so if someone is using the bathroom at night, there is a fair amount of light let into the room in direct sightline of the bed. This didn't bother me, but might bother some. The location is great--near the highway (but not noisy!), just down the block from Target, Trader Joe's, Safeway grocery store, and several other chain stores and restaurants. We actually enjoyed walking over there. We stayed at the hotel for four nights, so we bought some drinks and snacks to have in our room without paying the hotel price. Yes, hotel parking is $7 per day, but that is on par with many other hotels in the area. I'll take $7 parking trade off for good breakfasts and coffee for my husband and myself. I think some of the limitations faced by others that have reviewed this hotel is that it is on the smaller side, therefore they do not have as many rooms that can be shuffled around for late check-ins. Hotel pools are also not policed by hotel staff. It is the parents' responsibility to monitor their children, but bringing that to the front desk's attention could have helped with that. A swimmer must have been standing in front of the elevator door soaking wet and left a huge puddle--I overheard another guest alerting the front desk and they instantly grabbed a wet floor sign while calling for housekeeping. Ideally, a stay at a hotel should be seamless, with staff anticipating needs; however, people often prefer to bash service after it's too late for things to be fixed because they don't want to speak up or check back about a concern that isn't being rectified. read more

Fantastic! As this is a newer hotel, the accommodations are what one might expect! Modern, comfortable, livable, pleasant, cool but not cold... The staff are all pleasant, informative, and engaging, and they each make it clear that our overall experience is important and meaningful, from the front desk (exceptional, hope I catch his name to update and give props!) to each employee we encountered, top notch! We appreciate the attentiveness to detail and our enjoyment and satisfaction! The room is cozy, and again, very modern. Love the barn door for the shower/bathroom!! Thanks, probably an update coming to our home now as the wife is sold! Overall, one of the better Marriott properties we've stayed at in terms of a welcoming, attentive, and engaging staff, and comfortable living area! The location is a bit odd, only in the sense that on the fifth/top floor we had a gorgeous view of the office building next door..? Oh well, a minor grief considering everything else was beyond expectation! And to be fair, if you look past the offices and structures, there is a gorgeous hill, and scenic, natural ambience! My son and daughter-in-law stayed there over Christmas week. Their sheets smelled like urine. They took picures of the stain. The receptionist didn't seem to know what to do. They were given clean sheets for the next night. Not even given a different room. My daughter-in-law works 7 days a week and this was to be a deserved break. She does this because my son has severe OCD. The manager said she couldn't give compensation because it was booked thru Expedia. No compensation was given. The manager said she could give 5000 points if they would join the Rewards club. read more

Let me start out by saying this is a lovely hotel, our room was beautiful and spacious with comfortable beds, and the outside sitting area was very nice. From there it goes downhill. The room: We stayed 2 nights and when returning at 5:30 after a long hot day I had to ask for the room to be serviced and then they didn't leave any washcloths. The air conditioning was terrible, either hot or freezing. The pool: It is much smaller than portrayed in the picture on the website and the water was murky. There were sucker wrappers all over the floor, it was full of unsupervised kids running, eating suckers in the pool, splashing, diving, doing cannonballs. There were no clean towels available. We had a 3 and 5 year old who were soo looking forward to swimming and we just had to leave. Breakfast: It was advertised that breakfast was served until 9:30. We arrived both mornings just before 9 to find they were out of most of the choices. No oatmeal, fresh fruit, eggs, coffee, etc. I asked the attendant for 1/2 & 1/2 and she apologized saying that she was the only one on duty. Other stuff: There apparently was a girls birthday party hosted at the hotel. I walked through the breakfast area in the evening to find girls running and climbing ON TOP of the tables. Also, $7 a night for parking? Really??? I feel I paid a premium price for this hotel and got Motel 6 quality. Terrible. read more

Decent rooms, but very poor customer service when trying to book a block of rooms for our wedding. They sprung hidden charges on us at the last minute and they gave us a rate that turned out to be significantly higher than their standard rate after telling us we were getting a discount! One of our guests room had a broken air conditioner and the people at the front desk had no idea what to do. read more

Stayed here overnight a couple of weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our stay. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we have experienced in a long time. We loved being able to access our Netflix account from the room. Loved the desk space and oversized couch. We were hesitant about the breakfast but everything tasted very good. And couldn't resist stopping by Top Pot donuts across the street. Definitely staying here again! read more

Update The manager made this issue right. He understood the employee should not have been so difficult. I am moving this review to a 4 Star overall. The other people at the hotel are 5 Star. The breakfast is not too good, well, really just the eggs were bad. But they do have a good selection of other eats. I originally was going to give this hotel a 4 star review. Unfortunately, the evening desk clerk was lacking in customer skills. At about 1230 in the afternoon I let the nice afternoon desk clerk know my room was ready to be cleaned. He let the cleaning folks know and I heard the conversation over the radio acknowledging my room. The clerk during this timeframe is really nice. However: I returned to find my room not cleaned at about 5:15 PM. I called down to the front desk. The evening clerk (3 April 2018 5:20 PM) stated they were short staffed during the day and that is why my room was not cleaned. I explained I had asked earlier. He stated someone could drop off towels or something like that. I asked for the room to be completely cleaned. He stated the cleaning staff was gone. I reminded him there are cleaning carts available. Why did I know this, well, this was the second time during my stay this had happened. When I went down to make sure someone was going to clean, the evening clerk then began to have a nasty attitude. While he was helping another customer he made a nasty remark in front of everyone that I had my do not disturb out and that is why my room did not get cleaned. I immediately corrected him, he begin to roll his eyes, I told him I did not appreciate his attitude. He then told me to wait as he was helping the other people. I reminded him he was the one starting the conversation with me. He easily could have apologized and not given any lame excuses. I will be discussing this with the management during my checkout in the morning. I will not recommend this place to visiting family or co workers. There are plenty of other nice places in Issaquah WA. To be clear all the other staff were very professional and friendly. Springfield Suites should send this bad clerk to some customer skill training or let him find employment somewhere else. People like him can easily tarnish a good reputation. The very nice gentleman that did clean my room, did an excellent job, almost better then the normal staff. read more

I love the hotel. Very new and very modern for the business traveler. Every outlet seems to be a USB charger, nice and comfortable bed, and super nice employees. There's only one drawback.... it's over $225 a night. Huge drawback to the business traveler. read more
