While staying at the Regency Hyatt Hill Country Club you really don't want to leave so it was really nice to find a great little restaurant on property. I ordered the bow tie pesto pasta with grilled shrimp and boy it was good, seasoned just right and not too heavy. My friend order the baked potato with steak and she just loved it steak was nicely prepared and served with no fat. The service was great our girl was so sweet I wish I could remember her name but I know she has a daughter named Stephanie. After dinner it is a beautiful walk around the property, then I didn't feel So bad for finishing off my delicious pasta. If I ever have the opportunity to stay here again I know where to have a delicious meal.

We ate breakfast, lunch and Christmas dinner buffet here. We had each meal on 3 different days. What Springhouse Cafe excels at is service. All three times we were here, the wait staff was friendly, personable, and very kind. They answered questions, checked back on us and made sure we had everything we need. We were here for a family reunion with 44 people, so it was simply easier to have meals on site. Overall, the food was fine, nothing exceptional, but also nothing worth complaining about. Springhouse Cafe served up breakfast, lunch and dinner in an acceptable manner.

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio and this restaurant was in the resort. We decided to try it. We didn't have to wait to long before getting seated as we arrived when they were opening. The hostess was welcoming and sent us to our table with our waiter. The restaurant is in a really spacious room. There were lots of tables and chairs. Our waiter was great. He asked us if we wanted to eat from the buffet or order from the menu. We chose to order from the menu. I decided to try the Asada baked potato with a side of Mac and Cheese. The baked potato had grilled ribeye, queso, chipotle aioli, bacon, and green onion. The mac and cheese had noodles and cheese. All of the food was good. The baked potato was very tasty and the ribeye gave it some extra flavor. The Mac and cheese was very good. It was very creamy and cheesy. I actually added some of it to my baked potato for some extra cheese flavor. Overall everything was good. Huge space with good service and good food.

Atmosphere is nice, buffet not so nice. Roast Beef was good as well as the mashed potatoes, everything else was blah, herb chicken dry, salmon dry. Don't get the Buffet, expensive mistake.

Terrible service made a reservation 3 days ago on yelp. Manager called me the day before to tell me yelp had a glitch in their system and I no longer had a reservation. Crappy place crappy service. We are going to go to magnolia pancake house. Much better place anyways. Feel bad for all those who booked online.

The breakfast buffet was bussin bussin respectfully! The smoked salmon is too die for. Quality food and generous options to make everyone happy. Priced right, especially for kids.

They were understanding, though they're like we wish we had breakfast hotdog. I'm like why the fuck don't you? Then they made me order eggs Benedict after I stated I've never had it before and they stated I must try it and I was like you're not the boss of me! Yes, thank you! She made me order two different eggs, Benedict the standard one and the Alaskan version even though we're in Texas. I wanted the one that was double-sided cause everything bigger in Texas instead, they gave me the one that had salmon.? The server had tattoos which is normally fine, but hers were extrememly extreme. Like all black! She also kept asking me question about my kids and I was like how do you know I have kids? Food came and I was eating and they kept wanting to sample it! "How's it taste?" "It's okay." "What's wrong g with it?" "I'm not a food doctor! wtf?" there was too much flavor. Not used to taste! I have none! Look at my ex-wife! BOOM! Mic drop. Food was good, employees didn't call the cops before I left so positive experience for me at least! I've been trespassed supposedly!

FIRST TIME VISIT!…read more Woohoo! Been looking for chili cheese fries and happened upon a review for this place boasting fries with a homemade chili so we HAD TO stop in tonight. THE LOCATION: on the very end of a string of businesses in a strip mall that I've never been in before, so that was cool. Lots of parking, that'll never be an issue. And right off the 410. THE MENU: Burgers, dogs, Mexi-style munchies and a variety of frozen dessert-type items like shakes, frozen fruit concoctions and Italian ice. THE STAFF: I wasn't overwhelmed with a warm welcome and smiles, at least from the guys. Lol! They should really work on that. There was a sweet gal who ran out our food orders and she was great. THE FOOD: I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich deluxe with tots and a sweet tea. The grilled chicken was juicy and cooked well and the bun was lovely, slightly sweet and toasted. Overall, the sandwich could've used more flavor, like a creamy bbq spread and cheddar instead of the "Swiss" cheese that tasted more like American cheese. But overall, 7/10. The tots were extra crispy and the guy who took my order didn't take heed to my request for ranch. I was too lazy to get up again so I settled for ketchup. The sweet tea was nicely sweet and fresh, I'll be sipping this in my dreams. The hubby ordered the bacon cheeseburger with chili cheese fries and an Oreo cookie shake. The burger looked good and he ate it quick, so there's that. This guy can EAT so it surprised us both when he slowed down fast after eating that burger. Lol! He kept saying how filling it was, but then he also killed a large shake before the food arrived, so there's that. He ate most of his chili cheese fries, leaving me a few bites to sample. Not bad. I order a Coco Haven frozen dessert to go and omg is this thing delightful! Vanilla ice cream and coconut Italian ice (?) with a blue snow cone-like syrup drizzled throughout. I loved the texture of what I believed to be Italian ice. Smooth and flaky, a perfect icy dessert. OVERALL: decent eatery, the hubby said we can go back (LOL!) Shockerrrrr! But I recommend the staff tries harder to make customers feel welcomed and comfortable. The next visit will be telling.

Walk in the atmosphere is super cool, very subtle but has ties to seafood restaurants that we had visited in the Boston area, which was kind of nice. The service staff was very friendly, and the food was quick to come out We had oysters on the half show, which were absolutely delicious. They have three different kinds, and the server was knowledgeable enough to explain to us what the different kinds were, size, graininess, and other intangibles that would help us make our decision, and I'm glad he did because we got the Gulf oysters and they were awesome My wife had a Lobster and shrimp roll, which was one of the most delicious things I think I've ever tasted in a seafood restaurant, I went standard with fish and chips, and they were quite amazing, battered properly, lightly fried, golden brown, hot and juicy on the inside, with very little grease residue, five out of five would definitely eat those Again. If you are in the area and you are looking for a affordable and delicious seafood option, do not hesitate. Hop into Fish City Grill and you will not be disappointed

Our server, Hadley, was adorable and sparkly and had such enthusiasm for the menu and was so happy to be working there! That attitude is infectious! She made lots of recommendations and told us about the chalkboard with daily specials, which they're famous for. We started with the crispy calamari for an appetizer. It came with lemon aioli and sweet Thai dipping sauces. It was so good! My husband tried the beer battered cod tacos with sweet potato fries from the chalkboard and I got the crab cake with arugula salad off the appetizer menu. It was all delicious. Only tweaking to recommend is cooking the sweet potato fries a little longer and having a little more flavor in the dressing for the arugula. But it was all so good! They had an outdoor seating area, as well. Not sure why some businesses don't open up the umbrellas when they're open for business. It just looks inviting and tells people they're open for business and ready for you. We will definitely be back. Their happy hour looks good and we want to try the oysters on the half shell.

The second conversation he listened but I could tell he couldn't care less, so I looked for reasons to not to call the Health Inspector and asked him for some??? He told me to call the Managing Partner and kinda laughed then walked off. I saw this place must be owned or Managed-by Texas Roadhouse...... what a shame, this place could be great !! It is NOT. Additional note: Restrooms were filthy and unattended, used paper all over and unattended trash overflowing. I just think this is a sign of poor Management at this location. Maybe some re-training is in order ?? The single bartender was also overwhelmed. Plenty of waitstaff checking phones, group talking where they could have been helping out other areas that needed attention. This is the Culebra and Loop 410 Location. I couldn't readily tell what size a pint was because the menu doesn't specify lbs or ounces, but it was a fair amount for me. I asked for the house sauce and mayo on the side since I didn't know what house sauce was either lol. Think of McD Big Mac sauce but more of a mustardy, remoulade kinda flavor. The burger taste good but I've had better. At the steep price point, I expected more. We chose seasoned fries, which were indeed seasoning but not evenly. They were however, delightfully crispy! The onion rings were good but they taste familiar, like frozen wholesale onion rings. Not bad but not homemade tasting. Not many beverage choices - at least not thru DoorDash. You can get a vanilla, chocolate or strawberry milkshake or bottled Pepsi, Diet Pepsi or starry. I didn't really want any of those but alas, I chose vanilla milkshake. It was okay.
