Bob's Steak and Chop House has officially become my favorite steak house chain. I've now visited four and the consistency in the quality and taste of of food from location to location left me in awe. The lamb chops were amazing! The service was excellent, just as it was at every other location. This location did have a more of a romantic vibe then the other locations I've visited, but my wife and I appreciated it

Enjoyed a company visit with appetizers then went back for an anniversary dinner with my wife. The spicy skewers are delicious. Fried lobster stole the show. Staff signed an anniversary card for us and the management is top notch. Paul and everyone there made us feel remembered and welcome. The food and drinks were on time all the time. Perfect experience both times.

Fine taste, fine linen, & finer company. I enjoyed the Bob's Steak & Chop house in Las Vegas so much that I had to go to the one in San Antonio. It did not disappoint! My husband and I shared the rack of lamb, crabcake, lobster mac & Cheese, and asparagus. The food was delicious! The service was topnotch.

I had not visited in a few years. I had an amazing dinner then & now. It was absolutely delicious! We started with a half order of onion rings & brusse sprouts. Both were delicious! The onions were battered perfectly & crsipy! The brissels sprouts were good but some pieces were a little to charred for my liking. I ordered the ribeye. It was very fatty but delicious! I also had a baked potato which was delicious. My bf ordered the crab cake w/ mashed potatoes. He loved it. We ended w/ the bread pudding! You have to try next time!!! It is one of the best desserts we have had anywhere. It was sweet, light & fluffy, & buttery. We will be back. Absolutely delicioys!

We dined in for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent and the food was even better. The atomosphere is very classy yet relaxed. It's dark inside with white table clothes and decorated nicely. Even tho it's pricey you get a lot of food and it's delicious.

You definitely get your money worth at this place! But, keep in mind they are one of the only places you can get Prime or above steak in San Antonio. We went here for a birthday dinner, and splurged or anything and everything we could have wanted for the two of us. We started with thr fried cauliflower with the avocado crema which was to die for. We both got the 12oz wagyu filet mignon. It was tender, juicy, and cooked exactly how we ordered it. Our server was awesome and made sure we were well informed on the entirety of the menu so we made the best choice for us! The drinks were very good, smooth, and automatic doubles, so you get your value there as compared to other places. The quiet jazz/swing in the background and the dim lighting made this a romantic evening I will cherish forever.

Excellent food and service. First, we went here for a company dinner and there were 12 of us total. Our head server was great, he looked after us and made sure everyone was having a wonderful time. I ordered a Moctail, as I had to work after the dinner. It was a Vanilla flavored drink that was delicious. Our CEO or someone ordered 2 "sampler" plates of their appetizers which had thick cut Bacon, bacon wrapped shrimp with jalapeños, lamb lollipops, and fried lobster bites, all very delicious. For dinner I ordered the 14oz Prime Ribeye which came with a glazed carrot and I chose the skillet fried potatoes with gravy. The table ordered Mac and cheese along with Brussel Sprouts. Everything was very delicious and I was so full I couldn't order dessert. It is dark in the restaurant so it takes your eyes a bit to adjust but that adds to the romantic atmosphere of the restaurant. This is exactly what I expect from a high end restaurant.

This was my first time here and the food was amazing! My server Adrian was exceptional! I was extremely satisfied with his service! The ambiance is dim, quiet, great date night location! I will most definitely be back!

Bibs is a classy, romantic and relaxing place to unwind. Bo loud music here. Just a relaxing bar with a generous pour. With an impressive variety of whiskey and bourbon, you're sure to find something you love. The steaks are outstanding! Not to mention the famous carrot at Bobs! The portions are not small, so bring your appetite! Highly recommend.

It was our fault for not interpreting the menu correctly. Absolutely nothing on the restaurant. We thought we were getting fish that had sauce on it - our bad. The drink drinks were good - a little bit too sweet for me. It was called the swamp thing. Sitting at the bar, the service was good. We were right by the oyster station and they were kicking the oysters out! The blue points were excellent.

Thankfully the manager has it removed due to his mistake. When it came to getting sat, at 45 min I went to ask for an update and they had the nerve to tell me it was going to be another 45 min!! I was like heck no! I'm pregnant and there wasn't as many people when we first arrived. There were way more people waiting now. The hostess apologized said they had a large reservation but will make sure we get sat in 10-15 min. Good thing I checked. Then when we got sat (family of 6), we were sat right under the AC and it was freezing cold. Thankfully they turned it down some for us. I was also disappointed that most of their dishes do not come with veggies, you need to order it separately. And they don't allow you to sub broccoli for the green beans with the kids. Also extremely disappointed in their to go boxes being styrofoam! As much as you pay to eat here they can't offer better quality to go boxes. Styrofoam is banned in most other countries bc of the toxicity ‍ and I asked for some parchment paper and look what they gave me! Overall though the food was good minutes the mistakes and cold temperatures.

We made a 6:15 pm reservation on a Saturday to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The…read morerestaurant was busy, but not loud. We could talk comfortably at a normal volume, which already put this place ahead of a lot of spots on a weekend night. Service set the tone immediately. Our server, Mario, was excellent. Kind, professional, attentive without hovering, and his recommendations were spot on. On top of that, the entire staff signed an anniversary card for us, which was a genuinely thoughtful touch. The manager, whose name I unfortunately did not catch, stopped by our table, congratulated us, and treated us to a dessert and two glasses of champagne on the house. That kind of hospitality is rare and it mattered. We started with the deviled eggs. They were overfilled in the best way and topped with maple bacon that complemented them perfectly. We also ordered a bowl of clam chowder. It was not overly creamy, had small chunks of clam, and was well seasoned. All it needed was a little black pepper, which is an easy fix. For entrées, my wife ordered the redfish and I had the Maui steak. The redfish was fresh and cooked perfectly, not dry at all, finished with a light lemony butter sauce. The couscous was properly cooked and well seasoned, not bland, and the asparagus had a subtle grilled, almost barbecue-like flavor that worked really well. My Maui steak was a 16-ounce boneless ribeye in a tangy marinade with hints of garlic and pineapple. The balance was excellent. Tender, juicy, and cooked a true medium rare. It came with smashed potatoes that were creamy and smooth without being thick or dry. Exactly how they should be. Dessert sealed it. The carrot cake was outstanding. Warm, soft, moist, not overly sweet, with fine shreds of carrot and nuts throughout. Honestly, it is arguably the best carrot cake I have ever had. Overall, this was a great experience. Service was top-notch. The manager makes regular rounds to check on tables, which shows real leadership. There are cards at the front listing the manager, assistant manager, and chefs by name, which signals pride and accountability. The only downside is the interior lighting. It is slightly dim and takes a moment for your eyes to adjust. That said, the staff more than makes up for it with warmth and professionalism. Big thanks to the entire team, and congrats to Mario on his engagement. We will absolutely be back.

This trip we shared a wedge salad and my husband got his usual, which is the cheeseburger with no bun and fries. Always good and their seasoning shows off the yummy flavor of the patty. I tried something of the specials menu...steak fillet, crab cake and mashed potatoes. It was all delicious and I think the crab cake was one of the best I've ever had...nice chunks of crab and a yummy remoulade for dipping. They also have several large round tables to accommodate bigger groups.

I made a reservation well in advance for a party of 15, hoping to enjoy a special evening with family and friends. Unfortunately, from the moment we were seated, everything went downhill. Service was incredibly slow. It took nearly 20 minutes just to receive our first round of drinks, and over an hour for our food to arrive. Throughout the evening, our server was dismissive and repeatedly responded with comments like, "Well, you got to wait," often accompanied by unpleasant facial expressions. When the food finally arrived, the hot dishes were cold, the flavors were disappointing, and the seafood tasted far from fresh--it seemed like it had been thawed and served immediately. Every single person in our group commented on how underwhelming the food was. We continued ordering drinks throughout the night, but each round took another 20-30 minutes to arrive. On several occasions, our orders were forgotten entirely, and we had to ask the manager to get them. To make matters worse, the bill was inaccurate. We were charged for drinks that no one ordered, including some that never even made it to our table. The check also included both an automatic gratuity and an additional tip, which had to be corrected. The final disappointment involved my birthday cake. I brought my own cake, and the staff stored it in their refrigerator when we arrived. When it was time to bring it out, I had to ask three separate times, and it still took about 20 minutes. By then, several of my guests had already left, so they never got to celebrate or enjoy the cake. It completely took away from what should have been a memorable birthday moment. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had. Between the extremely slow service, poor attitude, inaccurate bill, and disappointing food, this restaurant is simply not worth the time or money. I cannot recommend it.

We didn't realize this place was a cousin of Shiro and owned by the same guy until we saw some similarities in their style, layout and menu but nevertheless, the food was still absolutely amazing. Even though the ambiance had some similarities, I'm glad their food options were distinguished because otherwise could have just gone downtown. You cannot go wrong with any of their food options. Highly recommend doing family style so you can get a taste of everything and all the different flavors. We started with the gyoza and calamari which were to die for and were not greasy at all. Pork ssam, wagyu, miso pasta and octopus all brought a little bit of their own element and flare to your palate that it's hard to describe unless you try it. Wagyu was just melt in your mouth delicious. Pork ssam and octopus had their crunchy texture and umami flavors. The miso pasta added a light refreshing touch to balance everything out but don't let it fool ya, the noodles will expand in your stomach. We topped it off with their yuzu cake. Our only disappointment was they were out of their other desserts but nevertheless everyone of us left full and happy. Would come here again.

When I first read about Yozora, I honestly thought it sounded a bit pretentious. Fascinating, but…read morepretentious. Because the idea of music being an actual integral part of the dining experience--not just some kind of background noise--felt a little precious for my taste. I'm glad to admit I was wrong. So let's start with the ambiance and the vibe of Yozora. It's in a fairly non-descript kind of center; not bad but not specially memorable. But the space itself is open and has an air of restrained sophistication. And then there's that hi-fi set up. The music at Yozora really is part of the experience, but it's not intrusive in the way that you'd think. Most of what my dining companion and I heard was 50s and 60s jazz, and it was perfect for the occasion. Sushi and Coltrane are a great mix, and even though we were not far from the hi-fi system, I could hear every word of our conversation, without the need for either of us to raise a voice. Somehow, it's like the music operates on a different frequency from regular table chatter. Suffice to say, the music enhanced the mood and really set a scene for Yozora's chefs to tell some stories. And that, they do really well. We started out with seasonal tempura and miso masu ceviche--ocean trout marinated in miso, soy, and lime juice--that was sublime. But funnily enough, the real star small plate was a truffle creamy miso soup that was earthy and slightly sweet at the same time and was silky in texture. From there, we ordered a series of crudo and battera, each unique in its own way. It was wonderful stuff, accompanied by a rice lager. The kitchen at Yozora is not shy about experimenting with non-traditional flavors and ingredients. Sometimes it works really well; sometimes, not as well, but it's never bad, and the servers actually ask for feedback for the kitchen, which is something I rarely see. Yozora honestly seems to be most concerned with creating a great dining experience, and it does that, from the chefs to the line cooks to the servers (who are helpful and attentive without hovering). The music, the mood, and the menu add up to a memorable experience.
