Sprinkles puts a lot of extra love in their ice cream creations. Always cool and delicious..I keep coming back for more. This year, Sprinkles did it again, they created the cutest and most delicious birthday cake ever. We were celebrating my son in law and my granddaughters birthday. Sprinkles crafted it with gluten free ice cream, which included Moose Tracks and vanilla. They made it on a dedicated work space, so my granddaughter who has Celiacs disease could eat it. The time and customer care was Amazing. They even called me to tell me the decorations I had chosen, came from a factory that the decorations could suffer from cross contamination and we needed to select another one. That is just the kindest and most caring staff and owners ever! The cake was adorable and so delicious! I highly recommend Sprinkles for all of your ice cream cakes and more. Thanks Sprinkles!

This is a cute small ice cream shop! They have one table inside available to eat at. There were not a ton of flavors but definitely all the classics and everyone in our party was happy! They have toppings as well. There is a cute shop also with fun gifts if you need. The service was quick and friendly. Helped the kids with samples to pick their favorite flavors. Check in! I didn't until after we ordered and they had a coupon!

Lack of variety. Once popular flavors no longer sold. Staff don't really seem to care. There are others not too far that are much better.

The Brownie double chocolate cookie is hands-down my favorite and tastes like a fudgy brownie. The dark chocolate chips just melt! The Classic Chocolate Chip cookie was a bit too sweet and tastes like a sugar cookie with chocolate chips. I wasn't a fan of the Cookies and Cream Oreo cookie. The Cina-Cookie tastes like a buttery Snickerdoodle cookie with cream cheese filling. The Birthday Bash cookie was fun to try, but quite sweet and loaded with sugar. Highly recommend warming up the cookies in the microwave for 20-30 sec, they soften up and taste like they were just baked with that delicious ooey gooey texture. The chocolate chips just melt in your mouth! If you get delivery, the cookies are stone cold. Delivery takes 2-3 days after placing an order, even local shipping takes a full day. While it was fun to try the 4 pack of cookies with delivery, it was just too much and I was on a serious sugar overload. It would be nice to have an option to only get a set of 2 cookies with delivery. The cookies just don't taste as good cold even with reheating and it's better just to get the cookies at the shop. Will stop by for the Chocoholic double chocolate when I'm in the area. Happy to support this small NOVA business!

PLEASE NOTE: This was for nationwide shipping…read more It had been a while since I had ordered from MidnighTreats, but after a 36 hour snowstorm the winter blues had officially settled into my soul and I needed a little pick-me-up. Important reminders: each MidnighTreats cookie weighs over 1/3 pound! They're enormous, and for sure big enough to split (... to share, sure, or just to enjoy yourself later; they even recommend cutting them in half before freezing them [if they last that long]). PRO TIP: you *have* to reheat them before eating them (otherwise the flavor/taste/texture just isn't the same). Build your own box for currently $30 ($20 plus $10ish for shipping), and some of the flavors change each month. We've tried... + Birthday Bash (funfetti rainbow sprinkles cookie): personally, I like the nostalgic flavor of generic "birthday cake" that's recently become a thing, and I think they do a fantastic job capturing it! + Strawberry Shortcake (shortcake cookie smothered in strawberry icing): This was the taste of summer I needed. So bright! Just the right amount of sweet! And they definitely didn't hold back on the icing! +/- The Classic (a blend of dark and semi-sweet chocolate chips): compared to other vegan chocolate chip cookies that can be shipped to your home, this one's actually one of the better ones! +/- The Chocoholic (fudgy double chocolate chip cookie): you have to REALLY, REALLY like/be craving chocolate for this one. - Cookies N Cream (oreo bits with chocolate chips and vanilla chips): this one was just okay, and I take the blame for missing that it contained white chocolate chips which I am not a fan of. It says they're vanilla, but that's not what they taste like to me. - The Cinna-Roll: I believe the recipe for this one has changed over the years, because it used to be a cinnamon roll flavored cookie with cream in the center (and there was *barely* any of it, making it a very dry, very boring cookie). It seems it's now a cinnamon roll cookie smothered in vanilla icing, so I just wanted to make sure I had corrected info here. Other things of note: they've donated thousands of dollars to animal sanctuaries across the country! they've planted close to 20K trees with reforestation projects! they've donated thousands to local schools and shelters in their NOVA community! How can you not love a company who's built in giving back to their community in their core principles?!

I do love nice things, roses, and gifts, but the way to my heart is SWEETS. Love me with sugar and I'm likely to like you more. This was a direct hit. A bullseye. Cupid could never. I've never been to Pike & Rose. I do not like driving, so this area has never crossed my mind. But yes, thank you for the intro. I will now be acting like this is my spot. We walked up and wow...the line was so long. There will be lines, fair warning. The neon sign was everything because I am the Cookie Monster of the DMV. If it's baked, warm, sprinkled or melts slightly when you touch it, I want it. Hand it over! Cute places to sit outside the shop! Very date‑night worthy, and lots of couples doing sweet couple things. I love... love. This was lovely to see; old couples, new couples, couples who look like they met on the walk over. Love is beautiful. Let's get into it! I did not want to do the brownie cookie sandwich, but my new big‑back friend said I could and should, so I did. Don't threaten me with a good treat. I will crumble faster than the cookie. The ice cream choices complement all things ice cream sandwich. Truly no wrong choices just great ice cream flavors for the best ice cream sandwich or bowl! They do also sell a variety of drinks, teas, and even greeting cards. Here is how everything was: The Chocolate mousse shooters with whipped cream (2 oz) was definitely decadent, but grainy tasting as well. It was tough to get over the texture of something so rich that was meant to be smooth and wasn't. I liked the Salted Caramel Cheesecake Shooters (2 oz) a bit more because of the different flavors (the cheesecake layer being my favorite). The Chocolate Covered Strawberries were nice, but the strawberries were tart (which is definitely tough to gauge). Lastly, the buttercream on the Mini Cupcake was overly sweet and the cupcake was not as moist as I would have anticipated. There is limited parking (outdoor) outside the shop, but it is free.

The new owner was a good dude. He provided great service, was very friendly & personable, and has lots of goals & innovations that he wants to accomplish for the business. I had a couple of items I wanted to try, but some of them weren't available. On my first trip, I got the carrot cupcake $3.95 and the Oreo cupcake $3.95. On my second trip, I came back to get my birthday gift they gave me which was $10 store credit, and got both of the cupcakes and a cinnamon crunch scone. Also, the near $4 price tag for the size of these cupcakes isn't something I'm too fond of, but oh well. - The carrot cake cupcake was good: the icing and cake complemented each other very well. - The Oreo cupcake was alright, but I wasn't impressed with it. - The cinnamon crunch scone was an easy miss for me, didn't do anything for my taste buds. Overall, it's a decent spot with a relatively limited amount of pastries but I fully expect in the coming months for the business to take a huge shift and really blossom.

I liked how moody and refined the decor was, with the dark wood accents and super dim lighting, almost like I was transported to a secret lounge in the middle of Pike & Rose. Second, our server was very prompt to greet us once seated. He was patient and attentive as this was our first time and asked for recommendations. For appetizers, we got a seasonal burrata with strawberries, cherry tomatoes, and jalapeños served with sourdough, and a separate order of wood-fired meatballs. The burrata was delicious, with a satisfying combination of fresh, sweet and spicy, and the meatballs were cooked to perfection! Our main meal included the bouboulina salad (with pecans, dates, and pears), the Maryland crab cake, the smash burger, and the wagyu picanha, all to share. Their standout was definitely the picanha since it was so flavorful and paired well with the flavors of the salad. I would definitely visit again for a special occasion :)
