We have been here several times. The food is always fresh and delicious. Portions are big enough to share. Will definitely keep coming back.

Lovely service, even for a vegan, they made a hodge podge of vegan items to put on the spud, added guacamole for the 'sauce.' They have local beer on tap and wines for a nice meal on the patio overlooking the water. The sauce for the sandwiches is so good to take home as leftovers for dipping everything into! read more

Spud's is the appropriate name for a place that serves amazing baked potatoes. Ordering is easy, because you walk up to the first counter and place your order. Then you walk down 10 feet, place your beverage order, and pay for everything. Once you find a comfortable seat, you place your number on the table and they deliver your food order. In the summer there is a nice outdoor patio with a view of Lake Pend Oreille , the channel, and the marina with many beautiful boats. My friend and I both ordered the Broccoli and Cheese Potato. She added bacon to hers. The potatoes are a complete meal due to being a nice big size. The broccoli was small fresh crowns that were cooked so well that they were remained bright green and still slightly crunchy. The cheese was a blend of thinly shredded cheddar and jack. The bacon was plentiful and perfectly cooked. The potatoes themselves are cooked so the skin is slightly crispy but the inside is light and fluffy. I don't normally eat the whole potato, but today I did. Can't wait to come back and try another one. read more

nice location and generally clean. Service was average. Two people in group had porky pig scrambles and they said good average breakfast. Two if us had sausage gravy with biscutes and eggs. Both people found biscuites dry and seemed from bottoms a bit over cooked. The gravy had lots of meat and overall tasted ok, but so pepper forward that we both found it a bit much towards the end. Last summer we stopped in when we boated up to Sandpoint and explored. It was yummy so when we were in the area again we stopped back in. Nice quiet Saturday, great service, food was fantastic as usual and the view was beautiful despite the cooler rainy/sunny day. Raspberry lemonade was great. I am picky about the artificial lemonades that give you a weird heartburn feel and this wasn't that way. Didn't see any raspberries in it but it tasted as though it was made with fresh raspberries. Not sure their recipe, I should have asked but it was good. Sandwiches are so tasty that we haven't even had a chance to try the spuds. We will definitely be back. read more

The is my first time here and it was an excellent experience! The employees behind the counter were friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered the Bleu Bacon Gnocchi and the Pesto Chicken Sandwich and it was outstanding. The folks in front of us said everything on the menu is good and I don't doubt it! I cant wait to go back. Food here is great. I had a half sandwich on wonderful fresh roll. A little messy but lots of napkins on the table. On a hot early afternoon outdoor dining was perfect with a view of the marina. Tomato basil soup tasted homemade. My only minus would be the ordering system when you first come in. You have to quickly decide, get a number after you order and move down the bar to order drinks and pay. You then can go get your table. This made quite a bottleneck, but I have to say from there on all was good. Food came quickly and the staff outside were efficient and attentive. Water is self serve at the beginning, with three options - plain, cucumber, and lemon which was very refreshing, but again a bit awkward to do all this before sitting down. We ate early and were out the door right at noon, and we're glad as the place is popular and a line was forming out the door. We will come back and try more of the interesting menu items now that we understand the delivery system. read more

It's more than potatoes.... It's friendly, reasonable, great soup/salad and sandwiches, good views, and always a good choice in Sandpoint.

When you walk in you order near the door but if you don't go to your table 1st you may find yourself with food and nowhere to sit. We split a chicken sandwich, the bread was slightly stale the chicken was sparse the mayonnaise was incredibly generous. Choose a Caesar salad on reviews I wouldn't bother. We love coming to Sandpoint, ID so we can eat at Spuds! They have new owners but the cheese croissant breakfast sandwich is still delicious. I am used to getting great food and service here. From the Chicken Basil sandwich (psst even better if you add bacon) to the Tomato Bisque that will warm your taste buds and your soul. But I have to say this is the first time I've tried their French Onion soup and there are no words for the experience. Like my hand would not put the soup down it was so good. It wasn't just broth with a couple slices of onion, it was a spoonful of that yummy caramelized goodness in every bite. It was ridiculously good soup! Kudos to Pete and his crew! read more

There is a large deck for seating in the back that allows for fresh air. It doesnt have the best view of the water-as a Marina and Hwy 95 is your basic view. You order your food much the way you would at a Panera Bread, and you are given a number & it is brought out to you. Service was friendly and quick, the young lady taking my order was helpful in explaining the menu and my options. The turkey club was quite tasty-though a huge portion-i could only eat half. The Kale Caesar salad was very good! Lunch under $12-pretty nice place to get a quick bite. read more

Great sandwiches and soups with a great view of Sand Creek. They serve baked potatoes with various toppings too but haven't tried them.

The food was good. But they are in the Bring Fido app and they don't allow dogs on their patio. We made a trip specifically to go their and had to get our food to go and sit in the hot sun to eat. So they are NOT dog friendly. read more
