We ordered from here because we were familiar with the food truck but had never been. Service was extremely quick. We pulled up and someone came right out and brought us our food. There is no seating so plan on getting your food to go. My boyfriend had the baked potato with shaved steak, cheese and crumbled bacon. I had the baked potato with sautéed vegetables. The vegetables had great flavor and the portions are a good size. Definitely a fun and unique place to check out. I wish I out a sauce on mine because the potato did get a little dry towards the bottom.

Honestly, the online ordering process has gotten better. Yes, it's the same site and process, but the employees have improved handling online orders. When I got there, the person working there came out with my meal, and it was as simple as that. The food is still Spuds Your Way, which isn't a terrible thing at all since the food is consistently good. It's nice to see they are learning from the past and working on improving things.

I finally got a little break at work, drive to the Spuds location, order my food in-person, take the stapled bag back to work, open it up and SURPRISE!!! This isn't what I ordered. How can I tell? There wasn't a single vegetable in sight. I tried to order the Vegetable Supreme potato that was pictured on their website. Now I'm back at work after a 30 min drive due to a traffic accident. Called to see what can be done to get the vegetable that I thought I was getting and long story short, the guy on the phone got mad because I changed my mind about driving 40 min round-trip during rush hour traffic for some missing vegetables, that I was told I needed to pay $6.44 extra for. Then he hung up on me. I can't believe he hung up on me for some Vegetables. Really? Rude Much? On the other hand, the food truck is fantastic. Always great food and great customer service. I would say visit, but after a horrible experience with Spud Your Way employees, I don't want to support any of their businesses.

I've passed this place so many times and have always wondered how it is. I didn't get a potato this time as I was really in the mood for a steak and cheese. I am impressed with the sub I got - the angry steak and cheese. I decided that while I really dislike mayo on its own, I'd give this sub a try with the Mayo on it. Since it has sriracha on it, the Mayo luckily wasn't really noticeable to me. I didn't really notice any jalapeños in it, but I figure maybe they were diced up very small to where I wouldn't see them. They were very generous with the amount of steak they put in the sub and I appreciate that. I really liked it and will definitely make it my mission to try a potato next time.

Really tasty potatoes with a multitude of toppings. We had the truck come to our workplace for Memorial Day Lunch! They worked their butts off putting our orders together and off into our hungry hands. I had the Loaded Supreme Potatoe with Steak and had them throw some broccoli on it. It was so tasty and filling....would definitely get a potato from the again.

Never had an issue with food from here;always delicious. Well tonight my fiancé ordered a BLT minus the tomato and this is what he got;crumbled bacon! WTF? 2 bits and he was done. Not to happy!

This place is really, really good. I had the supreme baked potato topped with pulled pork. (And a hot dog on the side!) The owner and his staff make you feel welcome and put the time and effort into making sure each and every customer is happy with their food and service. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch and/or dinner. I will be coming back for more baked potatoes! read more

Had the original baked potato with "the works" today at the CT open tennis tournament in New Haven. I am a baked potato person. It is my food of choice at any fair, amusement park etc...This was the best loaded baked potato I have ever had. Potato itself was huge. They did not skimp on anything. Copious amounts of butter, sour cream, cheddar cheese and actual bacon crumbles. I actually went back to the truck after eating my potato to tell them how much I enjoyed it...they do it right! Any other baked potato I have from now on will just seem subpar for sure! read more

Not only are the potatoes great...but the hamburgers/cheeseburgers are over the top. Each one is made to order, so you may have to wait a few minutes, but they are on the same par as Glenwood, cheaper and WELL worth the wait. It is so wonderful to see a young man from Hamden go out on his own in such a successful business. read more

Found this gem of a potato truck at the Lake Compounce holiday lights. Wow. Good size portion with real bacon. My kids like the baked potatoes from the BiG E and these are just as good. Next time I'd like to try their potatoes with meat for a full meal. Yum. read more

The service was quick and friendly. I asked for a classic baked potatoe with "the works" which was butter, sour cream, bacon, chives and cheese.The potatoe was large and was soft and warm on the inside. For $5+tax I felt their pricing was appropriate. I wished they used a bit more butter and sour cream as I felt the potato was a little dry. I also wish they prepared them more like they do at the Big E where they mash the butter and sour cream into the potatoe. Otherwise it was pretty good. read more

So originally I am not from this area, but work in the area frequently. As I am driving back to the hwy, I notice the truck parked at the library. I did a quick U-turn and was in complete awe of this backed potato truck. I had a potato with the works and hands down it was one of the best ever. If you want great service and a fulfilling "meal" I highly recommend. I am now a customer for as long as they will be around, which for now is every Wednesday at the library :) read more

Fantastic meal. These guys were at Brass Works brewery, and I had a supreme baked potato with the works and buffalo chicken. I ordered and paid, and within a few minutes they ran it in to me inside the brewery hot, fresh, and delicious. The potato was huge too, not some dinky little thing. I ordered the shrimp tempura ramen and it was SO good. The shrimp tempura stayed crispy, the broth was flavorful, and the portion was generous. We also got the edamame, which tasted really fresh with the perfect crisp bite to it. I wasn't sure if I wanted to fully commit to the spicy garlic sauce, so I asked for it on the side... and immediately fell in love with it. We ended up dipping EVERYTHING in it, including the dumplings, which were absolutely delicious. My friend ordered a boba tea without the boba and really enjoyed it. They also got a sushi roll, and I tried some of the California roll myself. Sometimes all you want is a nice, fresh piece of sushi, and this definitely delivered. Also, points for serving the Diet Coke in a bottle. Nothing is worse than an inconsistent fountain! If we're ever back in the New Haven/Hamden area, this will absolutely be our go-to ramen spot. We'll definitely be back!

And we sure found a good one in Hamden on Friday. We saw refrigerated cases full of pastas and raviolis, counters with trays of pizzas, showcases with trays of prepared foods like sausage and oeooers, eggplant rollatinis, and seafood marinara, a sandwich counter for cold cuts, and a baked goods counter. We narrowed our want list down to three very different items. We bought two slices of their sausage pizza, two garlic knots, and three eggplant rollatinis. The pizza was fantastic! Super thin crust, plenty (and I mean PLENTY) of cheese, a very good sauce and delicious sausage chunks. Oh, and the slices were enormous. We made a dinner out of the eggplant and garlic knots. The eggplant was sliced so thin, and was so soft and tender, it resembled lasagna noodles! The rollatinis were loaded with ricotta cheese and marinara sauce and it was a fantastic dish. We split the three rolls and let me tell ya, one and a half rolls were plenty for dinner. The garlic knots were ridiculously loaded with garlic, not teeny tiny shavings, but big hunks of garlic cloves. Needless to say, they were fantastic as well. Our total cost was $24.66, and Sapori threw in four complimentary slices of fresh Italian bread with our order. We really loved Sapori a lot.

The drizzles were smooth and flavorful without being too sweet, and the toppings added a nice crunch. Half the fun was picking the combos. We also tried their homemade fresh-squeezed pink lemonade, which was refreshing. The Dubai donuts were rich and really satisfying, definitely worth trying. Overall, this place is fun, different, and makes really good donuts. We'll definitely be back!

I tried a seasonal special called Nadine's Guava Matcha Latte--a flavor I haven't seen anywhere else. It had guava pure and guava whip which all looked made in house. The matcha was a good flavor too. The drink was too sweet for me and would likely order less sweet next time. I would like to try one of their coffee drinks next time.
