I order from Spukies in Dorchester Ma every week. I always order the same sandwich. Veal Parm. Tonight I ordered my usual and I ordered my husband Veal with American cheese and tomato. They sent two Veal and Tomato. When I called them to tell them this they said that is what I specified. I told them I'm looking at my order and it clearly shows special instructions under ONE of the subs. I asked if they would please send me a new sub. Delivery guy shows up with a small bag. I asked what is this? He said it's sauce? What? I called back and told them I would like a new sub. That a veal American cheese is not Veal Parm. He proceeds to yell at me that he will send me a new sub but you are wrong. The picture of the order below shows Veal Parm with special instructions greeted out - no special instructions. So much for customer service. I guess they don't really care about losing customer.

My go to spot for pizza, always warm when it's delivery or takeout and their subs are also pretty good. Thankful to have it around.

There are a couple other pizza places in the area and we have tried them all, but Spukies is our go-to "I don't want to cook" Friday/Saturday dinner.

Every dish tasted so fresh and full of flavor, and the whole meal felt warm and welcoming from start to finish. We got: FRESH BREAD WITH HUMMUS AND OLIVE OIL Complimentary and absolutely delicious. The bread was warm and soft, and the homemade hummus paired with olive oil was smooth, flavorful, and such a comforting way to begin the meal. Simple but done so well. FRESH OYSTERS Juicy, briny, and incredibly fresh. Each one had that perfect ocean flavor and needed nothing more than a squeeze of lemon. Such a refreshing starter. BURRATA Served with grilled vine ripe tomato, basil pesto, roasted red pepper, and a drizzle of balsamic reduction. The burrata was creamy and delicate, the tomatoes tasted bright and sweet, and the pesto added an herby richness that tied everything together. Every bite tasted fresh and vibrant. FRIED CALAMARI Crispy and tender with a fun twist from the banana peppers and olives. The extra tang and brightness from the peppers made the dish stand out, and the olives added great depth. A really unique and delicious version of a classic. LINGUINI WITH CLAMS Fresh local little neck clams with extra virgin olive oil and roasted garlic. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the broth was light but full of flavor, and the clams were sweet and tender. A comforting and beautifully prepared dish. PIZZA MARGHERITA San Marzano tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil, and fresh parmigiano. The cheese pull was truly epic and the thin crust made this one of the best pizzas I have ever had. The sauce was bright, the mozzarella was creamy, and the crust had the perfect crisp and chew. So simple yet unforgettable. INSALATA ROMANA WITH MARINATED STEAK TIPS Romaine hearts with Caesar dressing, parmigiano, and croutons topped with tender marinated steak tips. The greens were crisp, the dressing was flavorful, and the steak tips were juicy and perfectly seasoned. A great salad that felt hearty and fresh. Everything at Rozafa was delicious, generous, and prepared with so much care. Service was fast and so friendly. We will definitely be back.

We have had great meals And others have come out, leaving us wondering what it even was. The only down side is when they are busy , it's clear it's under staffed And service suffers a bit. Not knocking the place And will be back , but certain elements could use improvement.

The only thing is their online menu and in house menu says lamb is an option, but all of the online ordering options do not include lamb. Just chicken, falafel, veggie, or kafta (which might have some lamb amongst the ground beef but it didn't seem like it) Just would have loved some dripping sliced lamb but I know it's not always traditionally served like that -- their opening said Vegetarian Combo Plate with Lamb and I wanted it. Oh well. Anyway fantastic shawarma chicken, great kafta and surprisingly perfect falafel (crispy but moist and full of flavor) Vegetarian Combo Plate with Kafta Served with Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Tabouli, Salad, 2 Falafel and 2 Grape Leaves - so...much...good food. Fresh spices and sauces. Smokey flavors. Chicken shish kabob plate - smoky smoky and great sides Then did a Falafel with Hummus and Tabouli Roll-Up-- next day lunch. So good. Freaking huge lol. Fantastic crunch. Pickles. Sauces. Fresh fresh fresh. Will definitely be back. Just need to know about that lamb option on your menu! Love it. Sorry that my photos were taken after we had a bunch of bites. It tasted so good I had to post something to show my appreciation for the flavors!!

They look like they've changed their menu to be more Mediterranean focused, to cater to more communities. I'll say, among the Persian community in Boston, no one really talks about Stardust, which is strange because they're pretty legit. The quality, taste, and delivery timeliness were all top-notch. I'm thinking maybe their location isn't as accessible, but I'd definitely recommend them as a Persian food option for delivery or takeout. It seems to fly under the radar and it definitely deserves more attention!

The space is small and intimate but the portions are large and the flavors "inspired." You can order off the menu or create your own. We came for the Gyro experience - but the menu is quite expansive and worth returning to explored more fully. I asked for my lamb-tenderloin gyro "Greek & Spicy" - which is laden with both Tzatziki (strained yogurt, cucumber, garlic) and a red spicy sauce. Normally, I prefer my gyro enclosed in a thick soft warm pita, but Stardust uses a thinner pita - which appears to accommodate a larger serving size while holding it all firmly together, without it falling out in a messy puddle. So I'm willing to overlook this bread issue. All in all, the star is the food, as it should be, and it doesn't disappoint. Allen is a very well-read and international citizen, who is engaging on all things Persian culture and cuisine. Strike up a convo and see where it goes.
