This is honestly one of my favorite neighborhood pizza place and one of best in Dorchester. Boston truly has so many amazingly, delicious pizza places and this is amongst the top 20 for me. I always order a Hawaiian for myself. Cheese only is also soooo basic, but soooooooo delicious. I always order here when in the area and I mean it... always!!!!! They literally put like two slices of turkey on a large turkey sub and the bread taste like they had it in the refrigerator for about a week but the customer service is amazing and the ambience is cool. I ordered a spanish plate with pulled pork over the phone, and they didn't have it but still took the pulled pork order. they did call me back but wasn't able to get on my phone fast enough. when I picked up my order that's when they told me they didn't have the pulled pork available and asked to add stew beef instead. I said ok, come to find out I have to add the difference of the price between the pulled pork and the stew beef. 1st of all, why didn't the lady who answered the phone check first if they have it before taking the order. and 2nd of all, they could've just kept the price of the original order instead of making the customer pay more When it's the restaurant's fault they didn't check that they ran out of meat. read more

Very good restaurant to order from! The wings are pretty good and the blue cheese sauce has thick chunks of blue cheese. Not too saucy, and nicely tender. A little dark, but doesn't impact taste in any negative way. The pizza is great! Crispy and not too much bread. Not excessively greasy. My #1 pick is the Fish Sub, generous amount of fish, soft roll to match, and delicious sauce to accompany it (I get mine with lettuce and tomato). My least favorite item by far is the burger (not good), but it is a Pizza place, so it doesn't really impact my rating. The pasta is fantastic, although it is VERY hot; caution when removing the lid. Just like many businesses we've order here for years, and this is the first time I am absolutely upset and very unhappy with my pizza delivery. It was obvious that the delivery driver dropped our pizza and still expect us to eat this. They offer to give me another, but at this point I just wanted a refund and they refuse to do just that. I come here often to get Spanish food although they are a pizza shop. They serve all the normal pizza shop food like chicken wings, pizza, French fries, etc. but they have a section that serves fresh Spanish food. I always order the tostones which are fried plantains and the yellows Spanish rice with peas. It's always hot and fresh and the tostones are cooked while you wait. They also sell white rice and sweet plantains, which I've tried and is also good. They have stewed chicken and fried pork that are served as combination plates. The Spanish food here is really good. The service is great, there's a gentleman there who's always at the registers assisting with taking orders. He remembers customer names, he's pleasant and always happy when I come in and this makes the experience even better. read more

Eh, the entire experience was subpar. I ordered Fish & Chips and Chicken Ranch Pizza through the Yelp app. But after I placed my order, the delivery status on my screen didn't change for the past 30 minutes, so I called them to see if my order went through. Antonio's definitely disappointed me today. I was a regular and had been ordering from them for about 3 years. The last time I ordered from them I ordered the chicken and broccoli Alfredo pizza via delivery. Delivery time was great but the pizza was not at all what it was suppose to be. It had fried chicken all over it ( which should've been grilled) and it barely had broccoli on it. There was a tiny bit of alfredo sauce and lots of cheese. My kids were hungry and it wasn't inedible so I gave them a slice each and called Antonio's to inform them that the quality of the pizza was not on point at all this time. I received an apology and was told that I can get 20% off on my next purchase. He stated that it will be under my phone number and all I had to do was provide the person with my number to get the discount. I thought that was great customer service. Fast foward two weeks later I call to place an order and inform the man on the phone that I would like to apply my 20% off to the purchase. He said these exact words, " I don't know how to do that so your going to have to call back." So I asked him what does he mean call back? Call back when? He says when the owner is there. I asked when that will be and this dude says, " I don't know just call back". What kind of s***t is that? First off the note should've been put in the system so that the 20% would be applied. Second wtf you mean you dont know and call back? Find out how to apply it. Ask someone else how to do it. Shoot call the owner and ask how. Rather than leave the customer hanging with saying call back in a "oh well" type of manner.... Ugh customer sevice and effective communication is just damn near non existent these days!! My wings were burnt and when i called to have my card refunded and have them come get the chicken back, i was asked to text pics of the plate and send them first ! I was shocked. So it's like 12am, they are about to close. The staff is trying to quickly finish a delivery order. So I order a simple grilled chicken Caesar wrap. The guy tells me they turn off their grill but he didn't mind turning it on so they can make my rap so he does that and I told them extra cheese & all that after they finished I took my rap to go when I got home and I started eating it I realized there was no Caesar dressing whatsoever in the wrap so I called back and it was like after 12 AM obviously and at first nobody answered and then someone picked up the phone (The same guy who took my order) so I told him that I just got home starting my rap and realize there's no Caesar dressing out all he let his staff know well he told the guy that made my wrap. Lol (So most places I feel like they would've been like oh sorry about that and they wouldn't really seem like they care but I can tell this guy cared ) so he offered to credit me for what I bought but then he also asked me if I would like to have the Caesar dressing delivered to me and I told him yeah no problem I don't mind waiting for the Caesar dressing because I lived down the street and it wasn't a problem. So he told me that he would deliver it personally. Come not even five minutes to get to me and deliver my Caesar dressing. I asked him his name he told me his name was Brian and he was the owner and for me I felt like this was a great experience as far as customer service because as an owner to show that you care about your customers that much where you would go out your way and deliver Caesar dressing to them shows that you care about your business. Every time I've been to Antonio's I feel like I've always had a great experience with them but this was like one of my favorite experiences even though my wrap didn't have Caesar dressing just to see how the owner responded to this simple small little thing you know but really made a big deal because what's a Caesar wrap with no Caesar dressing. Lol anyways I just want to say thank you to Brian the owner of the staff are just being great and caring about their customers and taking the business seriously in treating their customers with care and respect! Other than that the wrap without the dressing was still really good I ate half of a half before I realized there was no dressing. And it ended up working out because I ended up eating only half of the wrap and saving the other half for the next day everybody knows once lettuce has dressing it's game over so a simple little mistake turned out to be something good in the long run. ---///------ My experience previously I ordered a chicken Parmesan hot sub which was really good and I also ordered Fried dough which was amazing I would only recommend them to not leave it so long in the oil. I love fried dough so I know good fried dough, with fried dough you don't need to leave it in the oil for too long because you just want to cook it long enough so it a light crisp with a light golden brown to it. When you leave it into long it can become hard but other than that it was really good. I can't complain because unlike the average person I eat too much fried dough my own self hence why I know if it's cooked too long or undercooked. But this experience was amazing as well they wrapped up half of my sub when I asked them to and serve me the other half to eat in the restaurant. I'm sorry to say most places wouldn't do that so I was glad they were able to wrap haft and serve me the other haft. ----\\\\\ My first experience at Antonio's. Just a quick little short story before Antonio's was around this pizza shop is called Hifi so when it shut down I was heartbroken because it was my favorite sub shop but when Antonio's opened I gave them a try and I think they will be my new favorite. The restaurant is very clean very modern definitely upgraded since hifi the staff is nice the food is great. I love the artwork on the walls because it's made by artists within the community. It's a mixture of an Italian pizza shop (the basic pizza subs chicken salads etc ) and Dominican/ Puerto Rican food. My first time there I got a steak and cheese along with a chicken cutlet with the crispy chicken and I split it with my friend so we can try a little of both. Both of the subs were great All in all I would definitely recommend Antonio's for lunch dinner a quick bite late night and all of that. Antonio's is amazing! My boyfriend and I order out a decent amount and this has got to be our favorite in Dorchester. We haven't gotten anything we didn't like from here. I absolutely love this place! It took me years to take notice of this restaurant. When I finally did, it was a great decision because their staff are friendly and respectful, their pizza and subs are good, and they stay open late! There are a lot of crappy food establishments in Dorchester but this place isn't one of them. Plus this is a minority owned business that does right for the community. Everybody else in the neighborhood really doesn't respect their customers. Antonio's was one of my go-to places and it sucks that I moved to Easton.
