Sad when you order from a neighborhood spot and you get bad service. My order took almost two hours to arrive and on top of that, my cheese pizza was well over cooked and french fries were not edible due to all the grease and being cold. Called the restaurant to voice my concern and requested a refund for part of my order and was told the only thing they could do was send another pizza and fries. I declined, I was not going to wait another two hours as it was already passed 8pm by time my food arrived and I originally ordered at 6:13pm. I guess I won't be ordering from them anymore. This is for the blue hill ave location. I was at my friends house yesterday after church and we decided to order after her telling me they had good food. I was in a pizza mood so i told her to order me a buffalo chicken pizza with grilled onions and peppers. So she ordered a large one with her side sans veggies. When it came i had serious low expectations for it. I just planned to eat so i wouldnt be hungry. Well well well...i was pleasantly surprised when i bit into it. Chunks of fresh grilled chicken in a light (not spicy at all) buffalo sauce, sliced grilled onions cut thin and grilled to perfection, red peppers grilled to perfection. I usually dont eat crust but it was buttery and soft enough with a little crunch. Im a big girl but after 2 slices i was STUFFED!! KUDOS to the blue hill ave location. You make your food with love. Got takeaway of a calzone of cheese and mushroom and my friend got an Italian sub. No complaints about his sandwich, but my calzone was a bit bland. I really do think this place could give a few lessons to other pizza spots in the area. The delivery is super fast and Steak n Cheese is best toasted! The portions are surprisingly large and worth the buck. The only thing i have against this spot is the lettuce ANYTHING with lettuce just void from your list because most likely it'll be sparse and most likely soggy. Any place that the kids like, I like. I have ordered and used my credit card for a delivery when the yougster's are at home with no school while I'm at work. They love that it's special. The pizza is good and the pasta dinners are huge. They do get busy, but it's worth the wait. When I have gone in person there are always some nice people at the counter as well. Some of these reviews talk about the wait, but that's normal for a place doing good business. They are not rude, they are just taking orders and delivering food! Food is ok. The main problem is that they add an additional $2 on top of the normal delivery charge. Called it an open charge. So delivery costs more and there is no disclosure of this charge.
