While staying over in the area a bunch of us headed out to eat. I haven't been to AppleBee's in quite a long time. We had a lot of fun, our waitress, and I believe her name is Christine, was so attentive and funny with us. She really was a kind person that shown through our stay there. Although a busy Friday night, we were sat quickly. Christine took our drinks order promptly and continued to check on us during our time. I stopped going to AppleBee's because the chicken for me has that frozen meat texture and taste which I just don't like. I did try a chicken dish and still feel that way in regards to the meat texture. however the three cheese penne was delish and plentiful and I just kicked the meat to the side. After doing our thang in Portland, Maine, the traveling marathon show continues here in Nashua, New Hampshire. Running marathon after maratho does tire one out. Need food! Stat! We decided to have dinner here at this Applebee restaurant due to the fact that it was basically right across a busy intersection from my friend and I's hotel for the night, the Hampton Inn. I guess you can say that location was great and definitely convenient. With that said, my friend and I arrived here around 4:30pm after checking into the hotel and putting our stuff in our rooms after a long drive from Portland, Maine. The ambiance was nice and good, since most people don't really eat dinner at 4:30pm, but here I was, since I needed to get up early the next morning to do the 26.2 mileage again, this time it was in New Hampshire. Crazy, ain't it? We spent about 1 hour here having dinner. Applebee's is almost as similar to Chili's, although in different name only. They serve a lot of the same dishes and the restaurant set up is largely the same deal. I ended up getting a pasta dish, knowing what horrors I would be facing the next morning on tired legs. Why did I think it was a good idea to sign up for these kinds of things with 12 hours of rest in between. Apparently, this guy. Lol I believe I had the fettuccine Alfredo, along with a glass of complementary water. Didn't want to do alcohol this time, but it ended up a good decision in hindsight. Applebee's is a chain restaurant, but we had a tight schedule of eat, sleep, drive, and run for 5 consecutive days. It was good to have them close enough to walk to. The overall experience here at this Applebee's restaurant here in rustic Nashua, New Hampshire was Nice, comfortable, pretty good. While Applebee's is a standard typical restaurant, it is not a fast one. The wait time to get your order is around 15 to 20 minutes. So, you're always trying to pass the time by talking to your friend, like me, or play with your phone or maybe people watch if you are dining alone. For me though, it was a little bit of both. I did enjoy that fettuccine Alfredo, which was nice for a Monday evening meal. While the noodles we're not really cooked thoroughly, it was pretty darn tasty and the Alfredo sauce covered up that fact. Very positive experience for our party of 6, including one in wheelchair and one needing a high chair. Hostess Toni was extremely helpful when we went early to look for a convenient place where a wheelchair would be easy to maneuver. Upon returning a few hours later we were seated immediately and due to the location and combining of tables, our hostess (this time, not Toni) removed a low hanging light fixture so the tall men in our party would not hit their head. Our waitress Miriska (spelling?) was very personable during our dining experience and attentive to our needs. Our meals were quite varied and all tasted great. The option to order a mini dessert, just to have a little something sweet, was right there on the menu-brownie bite with scoop of ice cream! I was impressed with the texting ability they had with a gps permission granting of you so they know when you will be arriving. Upon my arrival I received a text saying welcome and park in to go and to come inside because it was passed 9pm when the to go shuts down. Walking in it was very busy and very active. Cool looking atmosphere for sure. A 2 minute wait was it before they handed me my food. That very impressive to me. I had the 8oz sirloin with Kraft macaroni and cheese, mozzarella cheese sticks. And pretzel bread sticks Everything was cooked perfectly including the steak and very well seasoned. I highly recommend the pretzel bread sticks with the pub beer cheese sauce to dip in very tasty. I've eaten here a couple of times - both times at the bar. I'm not a big Applebee's fan, but I had a couple of solid meals here - their Fire Pit Bacon Burger was pretty good. Main reason for coming in here was to be able to grab something to eat on a Saturday night and watch a college football game on their large flat panel HD TVs. Beer selection is rather unremarkable. Another place that can't seem to cook a simple steak. I order rare. I warn the waiter I want it rare. It arrived medium well. What the hell?? This is the third time it has happened to me here. At least the manager had the courtesy to come and apologize and let me know a new steak was being prepared. Edit: The second steak came ALL GREY!! That's not even fit to serve no matter how you cook it. Sent that right back. The third steak finally came cooked right. By then the rest of my half eaten meal was cold. The first order came and we had high hopes. Perfect tenderness full of flavor. A few crispy bits and nice honey BBQ sauce. Husband had the Texas BBQ has a bit of spice but a full flavor. About a year ago, we went here for a quick bite to eat for dinner. The hostess seated us and no one came to our table for 15 minutes. We went back to the hostess and she reseated us. We waited 10 minutes and nothing. That's when we left and went to Texas Roadhouse. I called the main office for Applebee's and they apologized and sent us two coupons for $10 off. We went back and the service was better but not great. The food wasn't very good so we never returned. We tossed the other $10 coupon. My friends and I departed from stellos stadium after a boys soccer game to endeavor on some food. We walked in and were greeted to a short wait with terrible service following. We ordered our appetizers and got attitude when we ordered. The food was then given to us and we were given cold food. My friend's mozzarella stick was still cold on the inside and could be pulled apart as if it was never melted and in one of our appetizers we did not even receive mozzarellas sticks. Also my friend did not even receive his meal. Overall this experience was not a great one to say the least. I would say this is a very generous 2 star. Things have really gone down hill. We ordered oriental chicken salad and a bacon cheeseburger and both were so bad they could not be eaten. They were dry, flavorless, cold and missing ingredients. The salad dressing that I used to love is now completely watered down to something unrecognizable that tastes like watery mayo on a few shreds of wilted iceberg lettuce. The chicken seemed microwaved because it was hard as a rock. All of the food was ice cold when it arrived and the fries were limp, soggy and wet. Almost all of both meals made it to the trash. It's sad and disappointing that Applebees which we once enjoyed has lost all consistency and quality. We will never order from here again, such a waste of money. read more

Applebee's in Nashua on Amherst St - Our server, a woman named Sam, was interrogating me about my MA driver's license. When I ordered my margarita, she asked for my ID as expected. She was looking at it as if it were fake, looking at the back and front for a good 30 seconds. There is a government seal on it. The back has a barcode to scan if they were really serious about making sure I was of age. The ID has a literal date that shows when I turn 21. She asked me when my birthday was, and I answered. She couldn't do the math or something and still proceeded to ask me if I was 21 with an accusing tone of voice. Yes! As of last month I turned 21. I know I look young, but the woman had never seen a Real MA ID before? I understand the precautions but I felt she was waiting for me to tell her what she wanted to hear. I am a young Cambodian woman, which is probably not the typical customer this establishment sees often. It was rude and unprofessional to challenge me as if we were at a club when we were just at little old Applebee's, and my ID was very real.
