This is an inspector that will spend an an **entire day** working on a house, providing a level of detail that will allow a buyer to make a fully educated/informed decision- all for a very fair price. For reference, on the current home we have under contract we received the prior buyer's inspection as a reference. It had about a paragraph of notes- no red flags. Michael found, photographed & described about 20 additional items that were entirely omitted form the other inspector's report. This was crucial information we were able to show the seller, who had no choice but to agree to resolve as it was so clearly identified. Michael doesn't just provide a report of what's wrong- it's what's wrong, here's how serious it is, here's the solution- in simple English (not contractor jargon). His report did not mention any mold or moisture issues and that is the reason I purchased the house.Three weeks later I hired a contractor to replace my floors and he discovered mold 4 feet high in 4 rooms to the point that the interior walls were crumbling. I called David and sent emails with pictures and he claimed that I was being scammed and wanted to charge me to have the mold tested when clearly my walls were falling apart. He has not replied to my emails and I will report him to the better business bureau. I have plenty of pictures to prove it. His negligence put me in a financial hardship.

Working with the realtor, Acusystems was recommended, in particular David G. The inspection was performed and I received the reports stating their were some minor issues. I used this inspection as part of my decision to move forward and buy the house. Prior to the move, I scheduled an air conditioner company to go and perform a check-up and change all filters. During this service, it was noted that the air conditioning filter and vent contained mold and rust that were never mentioned on the inspection report from Acusystems. It is my opinion that the Acusystem inspection by David G was nothing more then turning the air conditioner on and once it worked, check the box. Due to this miss, I needed to invest in repairs in the thousands of dollars. When I contacted my realtor and David G, I was told it must of been something that happened after the inspection. Rust and mold do not appear overnight. The response I received when I reported this was "call your insurance company, maybe they'll take care of it". Needless to say, they did not since the issues were caused before the purchase of the house and subject to my policy. I would never use this company again, nor recommend their services to anybody else I care about.

I was changing insurance companies and at the 11th hour (Friday at 4pm) my insurance agent realized we needed an updated 4 point inspection. Robert answered my call immediately and came out on Sunday to complete the inspection and got the report emailed to me within 12 hours He also went out of his way to alert us of some other potential issues from the inspection that wouldn't affect the 4 point report, but that we should know about for possible repairs. I would not recommend hiring R & R Home Inspections…read more While I can't say much about the quality of the inspection report itself, we found working with Robert extremely difficult. The process was extremely disorganized and unprofessional. My boyfriend and I both took off work for a 10:30 am inspection. I reached out the night before to confirm the time and location at which point Robert requested we push the inspection back until 3:00 pm. We agreed. During the inspection, we requested the report be expedited. We were told that was unlikely but that'd we'd 100% have the report within 48 hours. We are on a tight deadline with our close date so once the 48 hours had passed I reached out to confirm we would still be receiving the report. Robert assured me we'd have it that evening. No sign of the report that morning so I followed up and was told he overslept a nap and would have it to me shortly. I found this odd and unprofessional but believed that he'd be sending the report. Around 11:30 am I followed up again. Robert again assured me he'd have it by 12:30 pm. Robert continuously set deadlines he could not meet and did not proactively communicate. At one point he said, "I was going to offer you a refund for the wait lol" via text. So when the report finally came in at 7:15 pm, we laid out all of the numerous reasons we were unsatisfied with the level of service we received and hoped he would honor his claims and grant us a refund. At that point, Robert completely changed his tune and said he would refund our money and that all communications moving forward should be via email in case of litigation. REALLY unfortunate. While we would never bring this to court, we were extremely dissatisfied with the level of service we received given the premium we paid. ($450 for an inspection) and hoped they would make good on their claims. In our eyes, a $450 inspection warrants professional communication, organization, and timely delivery. All and all, working with R & R Home Inspections made the stressful process of closing on a home much worse. Word of advice to the company - do not take on job you don't have the bandwidth for.
