We had received some gift certificates over several for Squeeze but had never used them. My wife scheduled an appointment for herself but couldn't use it so she gave it to me. I was skeptical but had a terrific experience. Despite being on a busy part of Ventura Blvd in Studio City, the location was very calm and quiet. The ambiance was similar to a high end day spa. The waiting room and massage room were also very calming among lighting, music, decor and smell. I had a 50 minute massage with Daniel. My wife got this for me as a gift. They have a little form you fill out online even before you go in so you can specify areas you want to target on your body and the level of intensity for each area plus other requests like "no talking during massage". I went for the first time this weekend, nice little hangout space while you wait for your turn with some water, tea and almonds. When I went in, I got to pick the background music - went with "waves" initially but it was pretty redundant so switched to "zen", which was more my vibe. I was initially scheduled with Wendy(?) but there was a scheduled shift I was notified about earlier in the day and so I ended up with Dianne. Turned out great, was looking for something relaxing, not too intense. Dianne checked with me a couple times to make sure I was happy or if I preferred she went lighter or harder but she was just right. I definitely felt relaxed when it was over and honestly it went by so quick. Went with the 50 minute one but feel like I could have gone for the longer one. Next time! I'm a big fan of Squeeze. I am a big fan of technology and think technology can help us be more efficient. Squeeze really makes use of technology to make the massage experience better. No more awkward moments of standing in an Asian Massage spa hoping that you get the right person. No more awkward moments of standing there after hoping that they won't be offended by your tip. Squeeze takes that all way and let's you do that prior and after your session, but what makes Squeeze great is the environment it creates once you're in location. The heat therapy was amazing and the bed didn't make me feel gross like some places do. The whole ambiance just made the experience worthwhile. Yes, you are paying a premium for the experience, but being I am not a weekly massage guy, this was well worth the money. They have parking in back and parking is also available throughout the neighborhood right behind, but be mindful of street signs. Overall, I can't recommend this place more than I am now. read more

I hold a membership here so have had a few therapists (all great). Tonight, however, I had Gerson, as recommended by a customer service associate that I called--and WOW. If you are looking for a deep, deep tissue massage that you'll feel the rest of the day, book with Gerson! I had some problem areas that needed some greater focus, and he really read through and paid attention to my preferences beforehand and followed through with my requests. I have some recovering injuries with pretty significant tightness, and he did such an amazing job. Best massage I've had since I've started coming here. Tip: I've figured out that if you want to have the masseuse spend more time on specific areas of the body, select the option to have him/her spend more time on those areas in Your Preferences. Then, select the option that tells the therapist you *don't* want to receive a massage in other areas. That way, you will truly get a longer and more focused treatment on targeted areas. read more

Strap in, I got a lot to say about this. We went to the soft opening for this brand new massage boutique. I am no massage critic, though if that were an actual job I would be all over that in a heartbeat, but this was honestly one of the best massage experiences I have had to date. Much of the credit goes to the massage therapist I had, Paulina H., but we'll get back to her in a second. I called the place a boutique because it has that cool new trendy hipster chic vibe that is super popular these days, which is totally a positive thing and definitely works in this case. Very clean and professional and eye catching. Everything about the design, down to the smallest of details, just gives you a pleasant happy feeling and really brings the right spirit for a good massage experience. I absolutely loved how much control has been given to me as a consumer. I get to control how the therapist touches my body (meaning where and how hard), how loud the music is, what kind of music is playing, the temperature of the room, the temperature of the heated bed, the brightness of the lights and how naked I want to be. Eventually they will probably get a place in their app to keep all these preferences so that they will just be that way when you arrive. For the time being though you do have to do them yourself. Which is normal. One thing I would change is the amount of coverings on the massage table. It was essentially a fully made bed. Now, I get that it's 2019 and everybody wants there privacy when a complete stranger is rubbing down their naked body, and to have the least amount of face to face contact while setting up their massage but I don't need a full duvet set to do it. I am used to the "down and dirty" massages you get at the hole in the wall Thai places where you have a curtain between you and the next guy and just a single sheet covering your body. Save yourself some laundry expenses and go more simple in this aspect. That being said, great and top-notch atmosphere, overall. Now, the highlight of my experience was Paulina. If each of the therapists is as awesome as her then this place has struck gold and will soon explode with the financial gain that is about to come upon them. We sat down and had a mini pre-rub pow-wow session to discuss my needs and how best she can meet them. Awesome. Then she walked me through controlling all the aforementioned settings that were at my disposal. I didn't really have any preferences or know what I needed so I just figured I'd get a typical head to toe rub down and lickity split. Oh no, that was not enough for Ms. Paulina. She said, "We'll just see what your body needs." Great. Then the magic began. She started with the feet. Fantastic. Then moved to the legs where she found my super tight tendons in my upper legs and buttocks area. Terrific. She knew all the terms for them and the muscles they were attached to and figured out some of the issues that I have been having with my lower back may stem from this region. So she went to town on them. Then she did some important stretches that really helped. She did a little bit of back and shoulder work, but then we ran out of time. 50 minutes is far too short for quality rub time. The best part is that I felt as though we were a team and our goal was to make my body better. Kind of like a life coach or personal fitness trainer, but with less words and less effort on my part. I could tell she knew what she was doing and that while I was on that table she really cared about me and the needs of my body. The whole time she was making sure I was comfortable and that everything was how I wanted it. I couldn't have been more in heaven. Needless to say, I will be returning as soon and as frequent as I can financially afford and will only get 80 minute massages hence forth. Five stars, three crowns, two thumbs up and a partridge in a pear tree to this place. May you find the success you are seeking and bring the world all the Paulinas it needs. read more

What a lovely experience! The space is brand new so it's obviously very clean. I loved the tech available like picking your music and setting the room temp and lighting. Lotus was delightful and did such a great job, she really got into my sore muscles. I only wish they had more amenities to go with the cost. It's a bit of a splurge and it would be nice to have other spa amenities available (like sauna, etc), but that wouldn't stop me from going back. My first massage was with Samantha B and she was excellent - she focused on the areas i'd set in my preferences, managed her time well, pressure was perfect, and worked intuitively to my needs and and my body. It was SO great that I decided to get a membership. I went in today for my 1st membership massage and was SO excited. I am also a massage therapist (15 yrs) and have a lot of pain in my shoulder. Kelly E was my therapist today, and in the quick intake asked if any of my preferences had changed (focus on neck, back, shoulders, and feet), and I added that I'd like to to spend *most* of the time on my shoulder - which is flared up and in pain (the sole reason for today's appt). She spend a lot of time on my legs. Maybe 20 minutes on my back/shoulder. Barely worked on my feet. Some of her strokes and the work she did were good/fine. She worked my chest/pecs, which *could* release my shoulder (but I didn't request at all) and left me feeling uncomfortable and afraid of being exposed (the drape was not secure). I cried in the car afterwards, and left feeling slighted. And my shoulder feels more flared up and painful post-massage. I'm hugely disappointed. Samantha wasn't available today, but I chose Kelly based on all of the 5-Star reviews she received. It's deceiving. I'm unsure if it's in the best interests (of the client) to be forced to review a therapists work upon checkout. Seems like a lot of therapists are getting 5-Star reviews in the app. read more

I've been coming here monthly for about six months now. It's a lovely facility and very gender neutral. Lots of great little design touches throughout. If you're a control person than this is the massage place for you. You get to pick your scent , your temperature, lighting and soundscape. They keep your preferences on file so if you want the same choices again they're pre set for you. All of the staff are super friendly and welcoming. They also have great little seasonal touches. Right now for the holidays they have a peppermint scent blend that smells like crushed candy canes and winter air. There's also hit apple cider with cinnamon sticks to get you in the holiday spirit. In the summer they had free cbd lotion as an option and they had free squeeze metal water bottles. It's little touches like that that make a massage membership even better. I happened upon Squeeze over 3 years ago as I as walking down the street and was curious about their model and services. All I can say is since I signed up as a member, I have been thoroughly satisfied every time. There are many therapists and times to choose from, so availability is not a problem. Guest services department is very responsive to questions and complaints. My only complaint is that i have problems occasionally with the app and its features. The atmosphere is relaxing and the prices are very fair. Highly recommend. I use the Studio City location. read more

Loved the experience at Squeeze. Everything is tailored to your liking, from the massage (you can select everything you want worked on or not) the lighting and the music! I'm not much of a ocean or rainforest ambient sound kinda person, so the option to pick indie music for my massage was a nice treat. The button on the bed that singles your massage therapist that you're ready was also a nice touch. It always feels like a scramble changing in and out of your clothes at other places, but at Squeeze you can take your time and let them know when you're ready. read more

I first heard about Squeeze because I workout at a studio right on Ventura and would drive by on a daily basis while it was under construction. I finally had the chance to give it a try and am so glad I did. The parking was pretty easy (a private lot in the back) and the place was clean & spotless. I liked having the ability to make any specifications ahead of time via web/app and the ability to change the room temperature, lighting & music once inside.
