Squire Road Auto Service is a full service auto repair shop. I have never used them for service but I would not hesitate they seemed very honest and polite and willing to help over and above the norm. Unfortunately I got a nail in my tire and it was going down flat very quickly. I happened to notice that Squire Road Auto Service was actually opened on Sunday. They took care of me right away on the spot without an appointment. They don't offer patches but they did supply a plug for my tire total cost was $20. Not too shabby for a Sunday afternoon. Brought vehicle in for ac blower repair had my own blower and resistor bought new got a call from thier mechanic saying that the new blower fan was broken and needed new one didn't look broken to me said he had the dash apart already said it would take a day and a half on a job that should take 1 1/2 hours at a cost of no more than $500. And gave me a price of $1600.00 I said no to much took me 4 mins. To pick up the car expecting to see the front dash apart nothing was done at all would advise to be wary about this place shady at best.​ read more

The Armenians who run it are highly skilled what they do with years and auto service background at my age I can't do what I used to do. When I lived in Vermont whenever I needed any type service I would drive back to Revere Massachusetts to have them work on my vehicles They're very fair with their prices and their hourly rates can't be beat by anyone. If you want/need work done and you can't afford it they're willing to work with you. Just talk to them. You have nothing to lose except a few minutes of your time. I personally referred them to several of my friends that worked out in their cars everything from a Ford Explorer to a jaguar, and every single one that I sent there was very pleased with how quick and precise and especially how fair they were with their prices. read more

Anytime I need auto repairs, I go straight to Squire Road Auto. They show me what needs to be done and answer my questions. Prices are usually less than what Google shows for the work. They also stick by their price quotes. One time a lot more was needed and they kept the original quote. I never had to go back for corrections. I was there for my State and TNC inspection, and besides, they made me wait over 40 minutes for the service. They didn't do it completely. And when I asked for the service to be completed, they told me to wait for the other cars behind me to finish. And to make matters worse, they called the police, saying I'd left the premises without paying. I'll never return to this place again, much less recommend them. read more

Their customer relationship is bad, and their services are very expensive and unprofessional. I mean, if all you need to get done is maintenance work, this shop might be enough but pricey. However, if you think your car may need major repairs, go elsewhere, because they will check your car and then tell you that you need to fix whatever they think is necessary even if they don't know exactly what's wrong with your vehicle. You guessed it, they won't repair your car and they will still charge you and not refund you. If you deal with the mechanic named, "FERNANDO"...you will regret it. I didn't want a rejection sticker so when I asked for my car back, they threatened to call the cops. Extorted money for a rejection sticker out of me. Definitely should not be in business. I am compelled to write this review because the only other review is completely inaccurate. I have been coming here for years and these guys always do the work for the best price and spend a lot of time calling around and arguing with the parts suppliers to get the best price available. I have a number of stories, but most recently I took my Accord to the dealer for an oil change only to be told that my exhaust manifold and A-pipe needed to be replaced due to "completely rusting through." They quoted me at $1250 plus tax. I called up Amin at Squire Rd. They looked at it and told me the exhaust was fine and that all it needed was a donut gasket replacement (the connector between the two parts the dealer told me needed to be replaced). After labor it cost me about $200. read more

do not bring your car here. 3 times in one month, Fist it was a starter, then no sooner we got it back then it happened again, We bring it back and the mechanic says its now coming from the ignition. They took my whole steering wheel apart, and told me they need to order the ignition, don't know how long it will be before one comes in, so in the meantime, I need my car of course, so they had me pick up my car (end of the day mind you), and told me I can drive it as long as I start it with a screwdriver till the ignition comes in. Well, 3 days later still waiting. I called AutoZone on Broadway, explained to them what I needed, and omg, they had it. Put it on hold. $30.00! that's all, right? Nope. I called the mechanic back and told him what I found and for how much, and like magic, one just happened to appear. They were working on it and went to pick it up. wow $100?! for what?? so far, I have given them over $800.00 in less than a month. This is where it gets better (not). As I'm driving to my house, pull up to my driveway to beep the horn for my daughter and the horn doesn't work. They "forgot" to hook the horn back up correctly when they put back my ignition and steering column. I called but they were already closed till Monday, so I had no horn all weekend. I then bring it back with my husband telling them all this, and the guy has the gall to tell me that it was like that when we brought it in for the ignition. NO!!!!! Fix it now, free of charge. I wish this was the end of the story but the rude ignorant mechanic (major language barrier too) re-wired the horn wrong, and it drained all the power from my battery and drained the alternator. This is beyond zero stars. This is a BBB situation. Huge rip off and very rude and ignorant. Stay away, very far away. We now are with a major auto company not in Revere and they are so nice and cannot believe the hack job this shop did. They know all about them, because they get their customers from all the mistakes. Not to mention my car was so dirty and grimey when I got it plus they all smoke cigarettes because my car reeked of it. And we are a non smoking family. Cmc Z.09/04/2015 Went there with an angled punctured tire, the mechanic put another hole next to the one he had to fix and said that the tire cannot be repaired and I should buy another one from them, charged me $10. I bought another tire and went back to change it, they told me they could've patch the punctured one($35). I asked them just to change the rim to the one I bought got charged another $30. Most shops will charge $20 to fix a flat and $10-15 to change one rim. I spent $175 instead of $20 to fix a flat. This is my story, you be the judge read more

Don't recommend this auto repair unless it's something simple like an oil change or maybe breaks, even with that proceed with caution. My car broke down and I decided to get it repaired at Squire Auto Service as they are open on weekends, turns out it was an awful awful decision that cost me triple in the long run. My car stalled and needed to be towed. They "repaired" the car without even checking with me first. They claim they put in a new battery and did "mechanical work", when I asked about it they couldn't give further details on what "mechanical work" they have done. I had to ask for a descriptive receipt of the charges, which the guy just made up in front of me and put numbers down, like $7 tax? OK cool... but very sketchy!! They also have you sign that receipt copy, which states you can't sue them and the guy reports it's standard at most mechanic shops.... so they can't be held reliable if they screw up?? Anyways, the car did the same thing couple days later and I gave them another chance to fix it, they said it needs an "oil change" and tried to use synthetic claiming it's the best- I'm sure it is but thats not what I want- they really just want to make money and see you gone. The oil change obviously didn't fix the problem so I brought my car to a reputable place (AAA certified mechanic shop)- it turns out the services rendered at Squire Road Auto Service did NOT fix the problem, they just find things wrong to charge you. Went for an inspection sticker and the clown working there said my windshield wipers had to be replaced because they were streaking, it wasn't raining and he was using my windshield washers to determine that i needed wipers, when it rains they don't streak but they were so hell bent on selling me wipers.
