It definitely wasn't made to be a sit down restaurant, but my boyfriend and I sat and ordered anyway. We got the pad thai #68, yellow curry which came with a side of white rice and an order of egg rolls. Egg rolls were standard, in a good way. Pad thai was good, it could have done with less sauce on it in my opinion, but not bad, maybe wouldn't order it again. Now, the yellow curry was bomb ! Veggies were not overdone, they had a perfect crunch; the curry itself was great, not heavy at all and the chicken pieces were of good quality. Another great Thai place! I'm giving it 4 stars because the food here is really good, but it doesn't stand out that much from other Thai places. Definitely recommend it though. One tip I would give it go easy on the spice. My husband and I ordered the Spicy Shrimp and Scallop with medium spice, and it was almost too spicy to eat, and we tend to be pretty comfortable with spicy foods so that's saying something. Besides the spiciness, the dish was still good. We also ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice, which I would recommend as well. This place is good for takeout. LOVE LOVE LOVE Srisiam Thai! Not sure why I've waited so long to write a review. We've been having their food delivered to us in Monrovia for a few years now and they NEVER disappoint. Their Thai food is on the healthier side, using white meat chicken and really fresh veggies in all their dishes. My favorite is the basil chicken, so yummy. If you like your dishes spicy, keep in mind, mild is more like medium and medium is more like hot. Their soups and egg rolls are also really good and the egg rolls always arrive crispy, not soggy. Meh. It was SO GREASY. We really wanted to like this place. The delivery was fast and free. Although it was expensive compared to Spices Thai Kitchen which is my new favorite place! My hubs had one entree he didn't like and doesn't want to let me order this time. Darn him! We had the Pad Thai and I thought it was too sweet and oily to the max. The pineapple curry was very oily but tasted pretty good. The teriyaki chicken was the *worst* ugh. The chicken looked like French fries! It was super dry and the sauce overly sweet. I've only tried 2 of their entrees. The pad thai and the pad kee mao (spicy noodles). Pad Thai (2.5/5) I didn't like their pad thai...it was a little too sweet for me. Portions were about average. The lunch special came with a side salad (with a honey mustard sauce?) and an eggroll which were just okay... Pad Kee Mao (3.5/5) This is my favorite Thai dish and it tastes about average here. I remember coming here when it first opened and it used to taste SO GOOD here (so much wok flavor, fresh tomatoes), but now it's just average. They have both thai iced teas and thai smoothies here, but I would recommend the thai iced tea. The smoothie is very sweet (and so is the thai iced tea), but the smoothie is very milky and doesn't have as much tea flavor. Overall, this location is close to where I work and I don't know other decent, fast, Thai food places around so I would probably be back. I only get 30 minutes for lunch and my order is ready in about 10 minutes. I would order the Pad Kee Mao if you like spicy food, because that's my favorite Thai dish. :) Oh yea, I believe there is also a $10 minimum if you need to swipe a card so bring cash if you won't be spending over 10 dollars. read more

I really wanted to like this place since it is the closest Thai food by my house, but was thoroughly let down. Upon entering, it looks like a dirty fast food joint with a few small tables. I should have gotten back into my car at that point, but I still thought maybe the food would be redeeming. I ordered a pad see ew chicken with added vegetables ($9.75) and a Thai Tea. The lady did not ask me if I was eating in or taking out and she saw me sit down at one of the tables after my order. Somehow my order came in a styrofoam container lined with foil. Next I open it up to eat it and almost all of it was over cooked and burnt. Is that why they were hoping I would take it home to eat? The taste would have been average and deserving of 3 stars if all the burnt portions were not present. Needless to say I didn't finish my meal and left. Worst Thai place I've ever experienced. We were around the area and saw this place and decided to give them a try because of their lunch specials I read on. Upon entering, we were greeted by the cashier and said she was going to help us soon. Well, minutes passed and she was still running around doing the previous orders. Where's the help for this lady? Out comes 2 more ladies but they were as useless as ever. I was losing patience cause we had an appointment to meeting with a vendor for our wedding. Finally, the cashier apologized and helped us. I was hungry, inpatient and wanted to go to Subways next door instead. But since we were there, we finally decided to stay. My fiance ordered their pad Thai noodle lunch special and I ordered their pad see ew dish. Our dishes came out relatively fast. Lets just say..the beef in the pad see ew was gross and rubbery. Really so-so Thai place. It's a takeout joint, interior stark, tiny, and incandescent-lit. Not a nice place to stay around or eat out at. However the food tastes just fine. The fried rice is nice and fragrant. For the price you get quite a lot. It took 3+ days for me to finish that huge heap, and I'm glad I didn't actually get tired of the taste. However I judge restaurants based on both the food and how they "feel", and if you are looking to feel cosy or treat yourself, this is not the place. I did not like the food here at all. I ordered tom kha gai soup and the special pad thai. The soup had way too much coconut milk and was just thick and tasteless.. the special pad thai comes with chicken and shrimp. Both are fried, neither was very yummy. They basically had no texture and tasted like mush inside. As far as I could tell there was no apparent seasoning for real flavor. The pad thai noodles were even worse as they were all stuck together and again flavorless. I picked at both since it cost me $20. I would be personally ashamed if I cooked thai food this bad. I came here because it's close to where I work. I ordered the lunch special pad thai with shrimp and the cook messed up my order so I had to wait another 10-15 min for my lunch. Lunch special sign says all lunch special items come with a salad but my lunch didn't come with a salad. My co-workers have also ordered lunch special from this place and I never see them receive a salad either. The taste of the pad thai was meh. I have gone here for several years for their Tom Kha soup. The last few times I noticed the soup is not the same. The galangal was missing. When I went the last time I asked them to make sure it was added. I heard the gal at the desk requested it from the cook. When I got home not one piece was in my soup. I called and the same gal insisted it was in my soup. I said it was not and she refused to believe me. Also much less chicken is in the soup than before; mostly broth now. Too bad.
