Thank God for Yelp! I needed alignment on my van as well as my son's car, so I was just about to head to a place walking distance from my house just for mere convenience. I figured I can drop off my van and walk back home instead of waiting for the hour or so it usually takes. But then something told me wait, check out the reviews first. When I did, I was shocked at all the poor reviews, so I decided to go to Star Haus instead, though they were a little ways off, but had all excellent reviews. Well, it was totally worth it! As the tech was going for a test drive, he heard a clicking noise. It turned out that when the tires were rotated, the balancing weights that were installed in the rear rim was too thick for the front and so it was hitting the brake calipers. He referred me to Victoria Grace Auto on the same complex, as they are all friends. The guy took me in immediately though at first he told me there would be about a thirty minute wait. AND he would even charge me anything, told me "it's cool" Wow! Cool guys all around! A BIG Thanks to everyone! I can't say enough good things about this auto shop. From the moment I brought my C70 in, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of properly. What really impressed me was their honesty and attention to detail. They found and fixed a few things that weren't even part of the original repair, some of which were no charge. That kind of integrity is getting harder and harder to find. Their communication was also outstanding. Mike kept me informed throughout the entire repair process and even sent pictures so I could actually see what they were finding and what work was being done. I never felt like I was left wondering what was happening with my vehicle or whether I was being charged for unnecessary work. The quality of the work, the communication, and most importantly, the way they treated me as a customer were all exceptional. I was in search of a smog service station as my usual spot had already closed. After searching on Yelp, I found this location, conveniently situated near my area. It's tucked away behind the Arco gas station, adjacent to a beauty shop. In addition to smog services, they also offer auto repair and alignment. I arrived around 9 AM and was informed by the staff that the technician conducting smog tests wouldn't arrive until 9:30 AM. I chose to wait in my car, and thankfully, the technician showed up before 10 AM. Since there isn't a designated waiting area, they kindly offered me a spot in a shaded area and even provided a chair for my comfort. The smog test was completed in a timely manner, taking only 15-20 minutes. The gentlemen working there were friendly, polite, and incredibly helpful. Their outstanding customer service will undoubtedly bring me back for future smog tests. read more

Had a tire blow out on me on the free way on my way back home to San Diego. Quickly googled a used tire shop and found one not too far from Star Smog and Alignment. They were about to close shop when I pulled up but we're so kind enough to fit me in for an alignment. These guys are great. Awesome prices and no funny business. Great place to get a smog check! I will not go anywhere else after experiencing the speed and service that I got here. The guy that was working was really friendly and quick when we went in on a saturday morning. My fiance and I got there pretty early hoping to get in and out quickly and there was already a few people there so we expected it to be about an hour or so for our smog to get done but we were out in 15 minutes! Came in on walk-in for a wheel alignment after picking up some new tires and was taken care of immediately. Kuo was super friendly and took the time to walk me through my alignment issues, as well as pointed out other issues for me to look out for in the further. Overall, the whole process took less than an hour. Super friendly staff, efficient work, and complimentary sodas in the waiting area.
