Great selection and friendly staff. I haven't seen this amount variety of NAs outside of Total Wine. I saw some options that I haven't even heard of before. Found Surly's Outlook Good and Best Day Brewing's Electro Lime. I haven't seen this flavor before so it was an awesome find. I noticed they had a lot of Dangerous Man 6-packs. Get them while you can as I hear they are closing their business end of March 2025. For those of you who like thc, they also have Camino at the checkout area. read more

your credit card info is not safe here!!! i shopped at this location for the first time last week. my credit card info was stored in their servers and used for other peoples purchases. i was charged for not only my purchase but a strangers purchase after me after i had already left the store. it's now taken dozens of phone calls to both this store and my credit card company and the best i've gotten is an "oops sorry!" do not shop here!!! your credit card will be charged for purchases that arent yours!!! read more

I don't know what "Apache Plaza" looked like before it became Saint Anthony Village. Every work day, this is my last bus transfer stop before heading into work. The area is nice and clean, and there's a bit of calm before I start my crazy work day. You can choose to have a cup of coffee at Caribou's Coffee, go to Cub Foods, and later in the day you can have a Chipotle or Smashburger. So many options! Probably what I like best is that the area is surrounded by ponds, so there are ducks, geese and other critters that come by and make this area fun. Good selection of craft beer, cold beer, not cold beer, wine, and spirits. Helpful staff with booze advice when asked, and they'll carry to your car if hands are full. Candy for the kids (my children) is a nice touch. Solid and wide selection and some pretty great sales online and in store. read more

Great selection. Wines, beers, liquor, hard to find items...it's all here. Quite frankly, I'd walk here more often if it weren't so damn cold outside. Reasonable prices, knowledgeable staff. I think they also have 10% off wine on Wednesdays if I'm not mistaken. Definitely a fan. read more

I have no reason not to like this liquor store. Its perfect location in the mall area of New Brighton makes it a winner -- just stop on by after running all your errands. The prices are pretty comparable as well.. they actually had stuff on sale that my regular liquor store doesn't ever put on sale. A 12 pack of Blue Moon for under $13? That is usually unheard of. I agree with Warren C., great selection! They have everything you are looking for. Their other location on Hwy 88 also has a lot of locally made wines. I didn't look when we were at this location because I wasn't browsing, but I would guess that they have similar items. Oh, and we learned about a FREE beer tasting event they are holding next weekend. I know what I'm doing next Saturday, what about you? read more

This is a fabulous liquor store. It was my go-to spot for four years while I lived about a block away. It's not a huge place, so it doesn't have the selection of some of the local liquor superstores, but it's got pretty much all you need. There's a lovely big cooler in the back for your beers, alcopops, and chilled wines. The prices are nice too. I could pretty much always find a nice bottle of wine for less than $10. The best thing about SAV, though, is the service. In four years I never had a negative experience. Everyone was always friendly, ready to help you find what you're looking for, etc. Lines aren't too long, and parking could not be more convenient. Also, it's right by Cub Foods, so you pick up dinner and the wine in one trip. Nifty! read more

I'm going to err on the liberal side for this place. I have been going here for years to get my alcohol. I usually shop the craft beers and they have a large variety, which I like. Since I shop the more expensive crafts, I have bought some skunky stuff here. The more expensive stuff should not be skunky, but since it's more expensive, it sits on the shelf longer. There has to be a balance somewhere. If I am buying something that is more expensive, I usually ask when it came in to make sure it is somewhat fresh and I can enjoy it as it was intended. My back up beer is usually a seasonal called Lakemaid and this place seemed to be the last in the area to get it on order. That kind of pushed me out the door to other liquor stores. The prices are usually decent and the staff is friendly and helpful. read more

Walking into the store, I'm thinking to myself this place is pretty nice. The selection is decent, definitely plenty to catch my eye, and I spot a sign that says 100% of the profits go back to the community. 'Right On,' I think to myself. I gather my things, and head up to the register. Working the register is an older gentleman that you can tell just by looking at he's a grumpus. But whatever, just give me my booze so I can get out of here. Before I insert my card, the man 'matter of factly' says "wait until the green light flashes before inserting." Good looking out, kind of snappy about it but I do what he says. I look down at the card reader, and there's a hand written sign on it that says just that. So I insert, it errors out, and I pull it back out. Thats when the gentleman behind the counter starts copping some serious attitude. "You have to read and be able to follow directions," he exclaims. Uh beg your pardon, but I dont work with this POS card reader all day with hand written instructions on it. So he begins lecturing me on it and treating my like I'm a total buffoon. As a 31 year old man, I never thought I'd have to tell a 60+ year old to 'watch his attitude,' but thats exactly what I did. He started trying to defend his side of the argument, at which point I told him that dealing with him did not make me want to come back to this store. After a bit of staring at eachother, he backed down and apologized. St Anthony Village Wine and Spirits, please train your employees about customer service. This guy soured my whole experience and its likely I wont return for a while, which is a shame because I found a lot of good stuff there. read more

St Anthony Liquor Store is clean, bright and friendly. The selection is outstanding with all kinds of craft beers and wines. The staff is extremely knowledgable and will find you what you are looking for if they do not have it in stock. But the one thing that makes it the only place I shop is the prices. I have shopped all over NE including one very large destination liquor store and the prices and service just can not be beat. Why would anyone shop any where else. read more
