My husband goes to Dr. Burket's office for both dental and primary doctor purposes. He actually switched from Summit because he had a bad experience. Dr. Burket took care of my husband, just as we'd expect from any primary doctor. He got to do bloodwork (which Summit deprived him of and said "Just do it next year"). Well my husband has high cholesterol so we wasted a year when we could've been working on it (no thanks to Summit!). Dr. Burket made sure my husband was taken care of. His dental appointment also went well. Now for my own experience - I had one dental appointment last year in 2021 (and I go elsewhere for my primary doctor). Well I had an appointment this year in January but could not make it so when I canceled, they said the next available appointment was in September. I did not want to wait that long so I moved over to another dental clinic. No hard feelings but I wish they were able to hire more hygienists or something. We still highly recommend this office! I think Dr. Burket does a little of everything too (including pediatrics).

Just the thought of going in for an appointment caused me so much anxiety. She likes to focus on what she likes to focus on and not what your actual issues are. It's incredibly difficult to get an appointment and when I asked for a prescription for the Covid shot because it was required by the pharmacy I was going to get the shot at, I was told that I didn't need one by her office even though I included a screenshot from the pharmacy website saying that it was required.

I truly thought something was wrong with my head but she knew to also check my neck and it was a neck injury! Great diagnosis and treatment. Loved being taken seriously (in Utah I have been blown off and misdiagnosed so many times I avoided urgent care whenever possible). So happy to know I can get quality care without waiting for my PCP to have availability!

This was good news of course.....until I received a bill from the lab for the initial screening. I disputed charges with the lab, they called me back after some weeks went by and advised that they were told by the clinic to bill me for the test. I disputed again, then never heard back. After digging a bit, I learned that the the gentleman here is not a Dr. at all. He never said he was, but everyone was referring to him as Dr. when I met him and I did as well, assuming he was. This was never corrected by him to anyone, including me. So, he never said he was a Doc but he also didn't correct it when he was mistakenly called a Dr.

She is present and listens to me during appointments and doesn't feel rushed. Be warned, you might sit for a few minutes in the waiting room because she is so present with all her patients. This is the price you pay for a doctor who cares and I'm happy to wait a few minutes so others get the good care I get. I have recommended her to many friends and they have been pleased as well.
