I understand times are hard during Covid and everyone needs to be extra patient. But peoples time also is something to not be taken for granted. They tell you to wait in your car. You cannot leave. They will call you when it's time. They estimated 1-1.5 hours. I've been waiting in the car with my 3 kids for almost 4 hours and there is no end in sight. I'm sure they're sick of the public and so when I try to get information, they assume I'm rude and treat me like crap. Went in for a pre-employment physical and the attitude of about 90% of the staff that I interacted with wasn't positive. I guess when you go in for anything but a COVID test it throws them for a loop. They all acted like they didn't want to be there and they all came off cold and SUPER condescending. Came in an hour and half ago for a simple pee test. Still not seen. Estimate is now 10 minutes. Look folks, if you're so damn busy that it's a 2 hours wait to pee in a bottle then y'all either need to TELL ME THAT UP FRONT, or y'all need to hire more bodies to handle the work load. That you choose to neither tell me that you would be wasting 2 hours of my day for a literally 5 minute pee test, and you chose to not have more bodies on staff tells me exactly what you think of your customers time.. and that attitude is completely unacceptable. Yesterday I had the need to have pros look at several scrapes/cuts I received when I fell trying to be a good Samaritan. Everything went smoothly from the moment I walked in, gave my name and inform, the doctor/pa what had happened. 35 minutes later I was bandaged and on my way home. MMUC is, in my estimation, a very professional facility staffed by competent, well trained staff members who make their patients feel important. I came in to get help with an excruciatingly painful toothache. I had a dentist appointment the next day but I couldn't handle the pain another 36 hours. I got racially profiled instead. I was told to take over the counter medicine, which I had been doing for 10 days. I asked for something stronger, the woman snapped " we don't give out narcotics!" I was just looking for some stronger Ibuprofen, I'm actually allergic to narcotic painkillers. If you're brown, stay away!!!! read more

I was showing symptoms that I thought might mean COVID (despite being vaccinated), so scheduled a test. Brian and the team at Mountain Medical went way above and beyond, administering a rapid test and a 24-hour version, and also talking to me about my symptoms. They figured out something else I had going on (the tests were negative) and quickly put me on a recovery plan. I went to this clinic on a Saturday for Covid testing in an excess of caution as they are the only clinic in town that I could find that had no bar to testing -- you want a test, they will give you a test, no questions asked. While the wait was long both outside waiting and inside once I'd been brought in, I have to commend this team for going the extra mile. A chest x-ray was taken and after quite some time, the PA came back to apologize for the wait, explaining they'd wanted to have a radiologist look at the film because they "saw something". Turns out I had pneumonia! (Not Covid, just smoke related after high fire season.) I was grateful. They even called afterwards to make sure I knew too come back for a checkup. While the place doesn't look like much, the team is first rate. read more

My ears would not clear after a cross--country flight from DC to San Francisco, and I spent most of a day there trying to find urgent care when they continued to worsen, with no luck. All care centers were either closed or had no appointments for 2 days. My PCP called in steroids but was concerned because no one had really been able to look at my ears. I then flew again to Portland and drove through the mountains to Bend, and that sealed the deal - my ears hurt and were completely stuffed up. I went to a pharmacy where they recommended Mountain Medical up the street. I could not have had a better experience. Staff were uniformly friendly and welcoming. Dr. Di Giulio did a thorough evaluation, including hearing tests. He listened to my history and added antibiotics with a game plan to follow up if things did not get better. Took my husband in for a foot injury. We were there for three hours waiting while the staff had a party. There were no other patients that came after or during our visit. We were the only ones there. They seemed irritated that we were there. All he was waiting for was an X-ray. He was misdiagnosed and continues to have pain and discomfort. We are going to have to go elsewhere to get the correct diagnosis. We will not be returning. read more

Such a great experience for an unpleasant situation. I sprained my ankle camping the night before and came in on a Saturday morning 5/26/18 the staff was AMAZING! The guys that I think were the nurses (sorry I can't remember names) were awesome, they chatted with me and my boyfriend while we waited and laughed at my stupidity for tripping over a trailer... and just made the whole experience really good. They are my go to for those urgent needs. I fully trust Dr. Stone and PA Daily. They take time with my kiddo when he is the patient, which is of the most importance to me. This year has been one of "those" years, everyone in my family has been in multiple times, to the point I think we are single handily paying their rent Every one of us has been treated well, diagnosed accurately, and I appreciate when the PA Daily sights new studies when making his decision. Called ahead and they said no problem, they would do the COVID testing. Drove 35 minutes, took about 40 min, then drove home. They called to say they didn't want to bill my insurance, despite the fact that the insurance will cover it. They refused, and said they would just throw away my swab and not send it to the lab. Wasted 3 hours, and a day's time in getting the results from the test while I find someone else. they could have checked this insurance before they did the test. And of course they could have just billed the insurance, and it would go through. It's a lack of caring and effort, which is a shame to see in a medical care facility. If they don't care, then who does? Wasted my time, their own time, and for what? read more

Got sick on day two of an eight day dual-sport ride through the backcountry of Oregon. I jumped on the highway, rode into Bend and found Mountain Medical. The staff was courteous and prompt. I went in for treatment for a scratched retina which I was well treated for, but they had 2 diffusers pumping out fragrance into their waiting room which threw my husband into a severe asthma attack that lasted into the next day. He had to leave the facility and go sit in his truck and treat himself. The medical staff was sympathetic and sorry, but the office manager stated that they have had them for years and this was the first complaint. No medical facility should ever have fragrances in their offices. These are known triggers for those with asthma and allergies. Hopefully no one else is affected by this carelessness. read more

I've been coming here since I was little for emergency visits, it's usually a bit of a wait but not too bad. These days I wouldn't recommend this place, doctors are rude, reception was nice but didn't know if I could be helped until I waited 30 minutes then told me the doctor they have today doesn't do what I'm needing(IUD removal), which is really frustrating because I called the day before to see if they do that and I guess only the doctor who was there that day could do it( this wasn't mentioned to me before coming in the next day). They don't take OHP so if that's your insurance be prepared to pay at least $185. read more

I wish I had read the reviews about this facility before my daughter stepped into this place. I could have advised her not to go. She says her experience was terrible! They charged her $185 for the visit which was a ripoff for the "care" ( what care?) she received. She says it was a waste of time and money. Rude, insensitive and non caring attitude from staff. Outstanding service. I went in to be seen for a severe cough and sore throat I had going on for several days. I was seen with in 5 minutes. The nurse was friendly and sympathetic to my situation. She took my vitals. With in a few minutes the PA or maybe a nurse practitioner came in and did a thorough primary examination. After running a few test she had a treatment plan and sat down with me to explain everything thoroughly. Very professional medical care. read more

This chamber of horrors sadly doesn't stop at merely the door. The staff was incredibly rude and frankly incompetent. If there are doctors in this practice, I certainly didn't see them. The only people I saw were reception and nursing assistants. Then they performed a medical procedure without advising me of the costs. So afterward I received bills from them with amounts which they never discussed with me. I advised them that I would pay the amount I believed I owed and that I disputed the rest and that the amount I offered was to resolve a disputed amount. They accepted, cashed my check and them continued to come after me for the remainder. I will never ever go to this dungeon ever again and I advise anyone else who prizes their health and wallet to do the same. If I could have given them zero stars I would have. read more

I used their service on a holiday and was very happy with the quality. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient in obtaining my information, The wait time was about 15 min. before I had the preliminary check. (This was in the morning so there were only 2 patients waiting.) Both the nurse practitioner and the doctor were very through, answering all my questions. I appreciated the time the doctor spent discussing medical options and treatments, I didn't feel rushed. I would go back to them if there is a need in the future when we are visiting the area. Very satisfied. I can't comment about the cost since the visit is covered by our medical insurance. read more

I was in the urgent care and saw Jessica and she didnt spend any time with me, I went in for a terrible ear infection and she gave me clonidine which isn't for ear infections, she spend maybe 6 minutes with me, I was in a lot of ear pain because she wouldn't help me, saw another doctor two days later and have a bad sinus infection and she said my ears were fine and they weren't, she wasn't very friendly and she needs to be more respected she did not give me the right medicine and then this past Monday I was taken by ambulance to the hospital for being dizzy and couldnt stand or walk. I just feel she did't treat me very well. Very unprofessional and not at all polite! As im waiting to bee seen, the ladies at the front desk were very rude to patients and making remarks about patients to eachother. At that point im looking at them in disgust, when one sees me she starts saying "whisper whisper" giggle giggle to the other two!! The male nuse assistant was very rude with every patient he called. Not a smile one, no "normal" attitude. Than he called me back and I tryed to say hi and got nothing in return!!! It was So hard not to call him out on his non professional attitude! Sorry buddy that you obviously hate your job! He took my vitals in which with I wouldn't even say small talk, could give a crap less about why I was there. The only postive thing I can say about my visit is the doctor that came in, she was very polite and caring. Outside of her I would never recommend this place nor ever step foot back in. But than as I was walking out towards the waiting room there stood Mr. Grump in the doorway holding the door for a gentlman he had called back and looks me dead in the face and lets go of the door. I went in this evening (not long before closing, because I wasn't sure what to do, I had been seen in the ER, the night before, but all of my concerns were not met). The doctor I saw this evening at this clinic was wonderful! I had a lot of concerns, as I have been very ill & I have complicated medical issues. The doctor took the time to listen to my concerns, did an exam that I felt was needed, explained issues that I didn't understand & even followed up & called the ER to see if cultures were requested that needed to be ordered! I am VERY impressed! The doctor seemed to genuinely care & he took his time to address my concerns...even though it was close to closing time & I had so many things going on at once! He wrote a prescription that I needed badly, that I haven't been able to get, as of yet, because I don't have a PCP until mid October! He also wrote a prescription for a decongestant, which is helping tremendously! It wasn't covered by my insurance, however, it was inexpensive & I can breathe better so I will be able to get a decent nights sleep, which I haven't been able to get because of plugged sinuses, etc. FOR DAYS! The receptionist & medical assistant were also very professional, helpful, kind & considerate! I will highly recommend this clinic to others! I tried to be seen, previously, at another urgent care in town & they actually turned me away stating "we are only a sneeze & sniffle clinic, your medical concerns are too complicated & you need to go to the ER." Even though the issues I was having, at the time, were not life threatening, nor were they an emergency! I had never been turned away by an urgent care clinic before, & it was shocking, to say the least! Because of that traumatic experience (it was extremely upsetting to me, because the ER usually says they can only deal with what is life threatening) I was afraid to even attempt to be seen at an immediate care clinic, again...I'm SO glad I went in & saw the doctor I saw this evening! I'm already feeling SO MUCH better & it renewed my faith in doctors & made me realize there really are still some caring doctors out there! Thank you to the doctor & staff!!! read more
