They call themselves audiologists and ENT surgeons, but they are utterly TONE DEAF socially. Way too much West Hills high-altitude attitude here, if you know what I mean. And the staff does not give a HOOT. Sport to them. They do not seem happy. When I asked for my patient records, they said I needed to sign up on their patient portal to obtain my records-- THIS, they are telling me AFTER I am being terminated as a patient. And the rub is this: on this provider portal, there is an option for text/ email reminders. I NEVER KNEW ABOUT their portal. Why the FUDGE was I not shown this system after the first missed appointment!!!??? COMPLETE JOKE OF AN OPERATION... and the world is too nutty for another JOKER! Do others feel this way??? It was a technology issue but the company took no time to figure out what was broken.... I AM NOT A DOCTOR but that does not seem like good medicine. BAD medicine it seems. For reference, this was my message to them upon learning that I was terminated as a patient when needing urgent care... I have many devices and calendars... there was a security lock on a key sharing calendar... I LOVE text-based reminders... or email, BUT PDXENT is THE ONLY provider I have that has NOT historically (say, in the past four years) provided me any reminder notification. My ear hurts, it is not exactly easy to find providers... It is not even that I think the PDXENT patient-termination policy is draconian (yes-- DRACONIAN), ...it is that PDXENT never took time to figure out the disconnect after the first "strike". When did electronic notification become available???? Why did we not deal with this on the first "strike"... My guess is that operations are broken, the staff is generally pissed and the owners are geared on Porsches. Blow. ...that sums it up for me. They can do just that.

On November 4th 2025 I went into the Tanasbourne Urgent Care Clinic with complaints of a fever…read morewhich had been on going for 3 days. I was assigned to Dr Mehdi. Dr Mehdi immediately was dismissive of my complaints, came into the room conducted a physical exam which consisted of listening to my heart & breathing through my sweatshirt and feeling the lymph nodes in my neck. He did not look in my ears or throat. He proclaimed that I had a cold and wanted to send me home. He also denied the order of the flu test saying "we haven't seen any flu". I asked to see another physician for a more thorough exam to which I was denied. They sent in a nurse manager who explained that I cannot see another doctor and Dr Mehdi said I needed to go elsewhere. I spoke to her for 30 minutes and begged her to run my flu test and to see another physician. They eventually ran my flu test but denied me a more thorough exam. Dr Mehdi also denied a CBC (blood test) and said I'd have to order that on my own elsewhere. I immediately went to seek care from another medical facility which I was provided adequate care and was diagnosed with STREP group A & prescribed antibiotics within 20 minutes of the exam which included looking at my ears nose and throat. Be warned. Dr Medhi is an incredibly arrogant and pompous physician. He is more concerned with being correct than doing his job. What type of physician denies a flu test? Look no further than the reviews here. I wasn't the first patient he missed the diagnosis of.

He has helped me overcome hypertension, swelling in my legs, he takes my ECGs. He has ordered tests for blood work, and cholesterol screening. He has in-clinic capabilities for most of this. He has treated and cured me of gout. He proactively changed my triglyceride prescription to a new one that has been FDA cleared for proven longevity. Only once he momentarily paused to formulate an answer to my existential question, "How will I know if I will live longer on this new med?" I withdrew the question - It dawned on me that I would know because thanks to his expertise, I would still be here next year and for years after to ask these eclectic questions. He is deeply knowledgeable of general medicine and answers all my questions in detail. I am so grateful for him and his medicine.

It got to where I had to schedule my yearly Pap 6 months in advance, and regular visits (once for bronchitis at least 3 weeks out) as well. Dr Kemp was a physician at a local practice with several other physicians. About 6 months after my first appointment, I was alerted that she was moving to her own private practice a few blocks away in Orenco Station. Her staff consists of a very professional (and delightful) office manager and one of my favorite nurses ever; as the practice has grown, she's added a nurse assistant. The clinic is in one of the cute Orenco Station townhouses; very elegant with an Italian theme and three clean, comfortable rooms. Dr Kemp has helped me manage my medical issues with compassionate care. She is very professional, yet warm, and always takes time to explain to me what the issue is and the treatment approaches. When I had an on-the-job foot injury a few years ago, she worked with my podiatrist and Worker's Compensation to make sure the process leading up to the surgery (by the podiatrist) was smoother than it otherwise could have been (WC is a pain to work with). The only downside of her new practice is that she is extremely popular and *does not* shuttle her patients out the door after the insurance-required 15 minutes - and this means more time in the wait room, but it's worth it for a doctor who truly cares.

The one who I read had openings was not my first choice, so I was led to believe that another doctor, whose online bio appealed to me, would be shown the form I filled out and I'd get a response. So, I never got a response. I called in June to remind her and was told "the doctor was on vacation" blah blah blah. She promised she would show the doctor my inquiry and I'd hear back either way. This didn't happen. That conversation was on June 5th and it is now over a month later. I give up on this practice. How can you be offering "concierge" medicine which is supposed to devote extra time to patients and completely ignore a potential new patient who is willing to jump in and pay the practice MONTHLY whether being seen or not? Just nothing... I called the Express Care 800 number to ask what happened but got no explanation. Just "Sorry." I asked why I didn't get a text or an email telling me my appointment had been canceled. Reply was "I don't know. Sorry." Driving there with a bad ankle was very difficult, so I really wish Express Care had given me the courtesy of letting me know they had canceled my appointment (again, a simple text or email would have been fine). I ended up driving to Immediate Care, which is what I should have done in the first place. EpxressCare was a huge waste of my time and effort. I'll never do that again.

It is disgusting to see someone in the industry merely for their own personal gain and no emphasis on the patient care.
