Blvd Bagels has been part of my weekend routine ever since I was a kid, so coming back for a visit home always means making a stop here, no questions asked. It's just a genuine local staple in the neighborhood. As usual, there was a line out the door when I showed up, but honestly, that's half the charm. It moves quickly enough, and, to me, it just means the place is doing something right. The staff are always super friendly, greeting you by name if you're a regular, and keeping things light with quick jokes or small talk while they work their bagel magic. This time I went with my go to: a sesame bagel piled high with cream cheese, and my dad went for a whole wheat everything with butter, and he absolutely crushed it within seconds. We both agreed the bagels are just as good as they were years ago. Fresh, flavorful, and warm. What I love about Blvd Bagels is their variety. If you're not in a bagel mood (does that happen?!), they've got a full menu of special from omelets, hot breakfast sandwiches, and some legit cold sandwich options for later in the day. Everything feels homemade and delicious. It's just a great classic bagel shop that's kept our neighborhood happy and well fed for years. Wow! What a find! My wife and I stumbled upon this place after someone from Pickle N Par suggested it to us during our lunch break from Level Up Pickleball Camp! We were greeted by two of the nicest young ladies in the photo! We ordered the Godfather and Turkey BLT (sorry...forget the name for it). Both sandwiches were gigantic and amazingly delicious!!! Throw in a bag of chips, 2 lemonades and sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather! We love this place!!! The service is top notch! The food is amazing and a lot for the price. The ambiance is super cool. We are visiting from San Diego, CA and wish we had this place in our neighborhood including the employees!!! Keep up the great work ladies! We were staying at a local hotel for our daughters dance competition and needed some breakfast. I found Blvd Bagels on Yelp and was glad I did. I got there at about 5:45 a.m., it's nice that they're open earlier than some of the other bagel places nearby. I picked up a sesame bagel with butter, a coffee for my wife and an Earl Gray tea for myself. The sesame bagel was fresh and high quality. My wife and I enjoyed our beverages. (The tea is Stash brand) It was so good, we doubled back after the dance competition and picked up another round. I got the French toast bagel with walnut raisin cream cheese. It was ridiculously good. The kids enjoyed their plain bagels, I sampled the English breakfast tea and my wife raved about the iced coffee. Both times we received pleasant and professional service from a nice staff member. Well worth stopping at Blvd Bagels. read more

A nice place to get bagels. They were conscious of customer safety for Covid. Only 5 people in the store at a time. Social distance in and out. The bagels were hot and fresh, crispy. The management needs to teach the workers how to make consistent coffee and about food prep and management. Coffee is always different from too much milk too little or just right. Egg sandwiches are consistently made incorrectly. Bagels have too much butter, too little, or just right. Same with cream cheese on a bagel, you never know what you will get. Saw one of the male workers waiting on customers. Every so often he would wipe his lips and touch his face with his fingers while making food for others. Next thing I know he asks to help me. I order an egg sandwich, and two toasted bagels with butter. I see him put one of my bagels in the toaster while only wearing one glove. Touching half my bagel with his gloveless hand. He walks away to talk with co-workers and continues rubbing his lips and face. When my bagel was done toasting, he returned and grabs one half with the glove and the other with his bare hand. The bagels by themselves and the quality of coffee at your place are very good but the clerks need to be educated and taught before being placed behind the counter. Very frustrating experience. You just never know what you will get when ordering. I probably will not be back. Things like this happen every time my family or I come in for something. It is an ongoing joke in my family as to what happens while ordering at Blvd bagels. I am sure you are losing customers so I decided to finally say something. read more

Seeing a lot of mixed reviews here. I've been here twice and both time my experience was good. I was greeted by a staff that was friendly and smiled when they asked what I'd like. I got a simple chicken salad on a bagel once and another time just cc on a bagel. Both times the food was good and reasonably priced. There's a sign outside the door that clearly says "Pick-up or Curbside Available" with the stores phone number below. My wife calls the store and places orders so we don't have to wait on long lines outside due to COVID. Okay no problem. We call the store, a lady answers, tells us to hold on, and puts the phone down. We can hear everything going on inside the store for a solid 8 minutes. We hang up, call back, no answer. We then drive to the store and my wife enters. It's empty inside, no one is helping her. All the staff walk back and forth aimlessly, while avoiding helping her in the process. The staff is rude, and uncooperative. They don't have a grill person here, every person taking an order then makes the food themselves on the grill. Sometimes three people work the grill at the same time causing a cluster of chaos making the wait line take forever. If I want to get in and out quickly with some bagels, I can't because it takes three people to make three egg sandwiches all at the same time on the same flat top grill. Meanwhile, the phone was ringing non-stop the entire time my wife was in the store with no one answering it. I understand that there are COVID restrictions going on, I understand it's tough wearing a mask and working in cramped conditions all day, but if you advertise calling in orders, then please answer your phone so people can avoid getting stuck inside your cramped store for 10 minutes while they were trying to avoid that in the first place. Also while leaving, we noticed the lady who answered the phone the first time was outside smoking a cigarette, we know her by her voice. So she left us on hold to hear everything inside the store while she went out for a smoke. Very disappointing. Food is great though, attitudes and customer recognition needs to be changed. There's a million other places delivering these days or embracing the curbside to-go market. Boulevard Bagels needs to up their game. read more

Hard to find a good egg sandwich these days, I bounce around a lot. They are always nicely and neAtly prepared. Unfortunately, they can't make an over easy egg for anything. Over easy has runny yolk. Bagels are decent - not bad, not great. Selection was ok, but to me, they were light years behind the competition. So, you ask, maybe they concentrate then on a smaller selection and that being the case, they are really yummy? Nope. Standard selection of merely passable bagels. Bagel with butter: hardly any butter. I can go both ways on that as I am also leery of places that put a pound of butter on... so let's call this a preference thing. I like enough butter to lube the ole esophagus to let a baked piece of bread slide down my throat while also not having enough butter to give me arteriosclerosis; they err on the low end. My go-to by my house is in Freeport which I'd argue is the best bagel place in Nassau county, but this one is tops for Suffolk from what I've found so far! The egg everything bagel is so flavorful and soft on the inside. Price per bagel is 95cents, and then cream cheese or whatever you put on yours. I had a bagel with cream cheese and it was $2.12. It's in a small strip plaza with parking. Convenient to 347 if you have a few minutes to head south. read more

Blvd bagels is my absolute favorite bagel place on Long Island. I've been coming here for years and whenever I bring any of my friends that live out of town, they all agree... Phenomenal bagels. This place is extremely clean and the service is always quick. I've come here on a weekend morning when it's completely packed out, and I've never waited more than 5-10 minutes to be helped. Also, the price points are on the inexpensive side which is another plus. The bagels are perfectly doughy on the inside and crispy on the outside. I'm the kind of person that will "slightly toast" my bagels because I feel like that makes an average/old bagel taste better, but you do not need to do that when you come here. The egg sandwiches are also delicious. You really cannot go wrong when ordering breakfast here. They have a huge selection of drinks and their coffee is better than most! Been coming here since they opened in 1996 and one of my favorite bagels in Suffolk. The selection of flavors is excellent, they taste very good just as I prefer. My favorite is Egg Everything with Cream Cheese, they stuff the bagel with CC so much I usually buy an extra EE and make 2 out of it. The coffee is always fresh and hot and good for dunking. Their breakfast and lunch sandwiches are loaded with generous amounts of meats and cheeses, They are a little pricier than other local bagel shops but so worth the trip. They do get busy during the am rush and weekends but usually have ample amount of counter help to assist you and get you to bagel euphoria as soon as possible. read more
