I could not do the types of physical activities I enjoyed and it hurt by the end of the work day. I had weekly scheduled sessions with both Hersh and Andrea with each ti seeing improvement. My condition had been going on for several months before meeting with Dave Townsend. My physician had latched on to the idea it was mild arthritis in my hip. That may have been a factor but it was not the principal issue. After a few sessions Dave helped me isolate the problem to fasciitis in my IT band, which was causing my quadricep muscles to cramp, hence the pain. One pro tip for new patients: make sure the receptionist is at the desk when you arrive, or pay before you start your warmup, otherwise one of the interns (I honestly can't remember his name -1 star) might pull you off the equipment in front of everyone and treat you like a walk-out.
