Sugar cookie with a strawberry banana smoothie
    Taylor R.

Forever supporting STL here. Amazing fruit smoothies and fresh breads. I picked up a decorative sugar cookie that was fantastic. Service was pretty quick for a busy lunch time. All walks of life here having work meetings or visiting friends. Nice spot.

Stack of dishes at the only trash/dish return.

It's been awhile since I've eaten inside a Panera, or even eaten it at all and now I remember why. There was no one available to take a dine in order so we used the kiosk (along with 3 other groups). That's no problem really but somewhat frustrating with my elderly father in law. We ordered green tea and paid for it but it was out at the drink station. I alerted an employee but it was never refilled while we ate there. Nor did an employee offer to fill up out cups with their drink station in the back. The cinnamon roll was hard as a rock. The chicken bacon rancher sandwich was fine but not worth $12. The most frustrating thing was the mound of dirty dishes. I also noticed behind the counter trash cans over flowing. The main employee on the food line was very nice but understandably overwhelmed. Meanwhile 2 other employees I noticed and crossed paths with were ignoring customers or actively not going out of their way to help the gentleman working so hard. Next time will head down to a local sandwich shop less than $5 away and worth every penny.

    Baja bowl and Greek salad

Very tasting and filling the Baja bowl. It's a good go to and makes for a solid lunch!

Passed by St Louis for coffees and then lunch . Very much like Panera bread from my neck of the woods ( same company I believe ). Basic coffee and bakery place as expected for lunch we ordered chicken Caesar and soup / salad combos . Everything was very good and as expected . Polite service and clean . A sold option for a working lunch or to get some coffee and bagels .

    Turkey avocado BLT
    Bonnie L.

Online order in the app. Order was accurate and ready on time. Turkey chili was tasty per usual, had it with the French bread. Tried the Turkey avocado BLT for the first time. Added the special sauce but didn't taste much of it. Sandwich was fresh and the avocado was good. I prefer the bacon Turkey bravo even though the Turkey avocado has traditional Turkey meat vs the deli type meat in the bacon turkey bravo.

Ordered Green Goddess salad MINUS MEAT & EGG! Double checked prior to leaving the register; triple checked at pickup counter NO MEAT NO EGG. While eating I tasted what I beloved to be chicken. Ulon further investigation I indeed noticed a second small piece of chicken in the bowl. Livid but maintaining patience I politely took the salad back to the counter. Sarah apologized and refunded me for the half salad. I appreciated her genuine concern. PSA: It is very important to pay close attention to specially prepping food that has restrictions. Although I will not die or have an allergic reaction I am vegetarian. Meat & EGG or not a part of my diet and I'd like to keep it that way; even when dining out. ~Christy

16$ for a drink and a pick two and this is the sandwich I get. Are you serious? Service was ok. It was quick but I didn't pay 16$ for sandwich that looked like it was rolled up into a ball and thrown on some bread. Oh and there is no bacon, which the sign said it came with.

    "Half salad"

I have been coming to Panera locations for more years than I can count. I usually order the pick two with the caesar salad and one of my favorite sandwiches. Never have I been this stiffed, either with takeout or delivery. This salad is about three bites, with croutons being out of stock, and they charged me $5. It doesn't even fill half of the container! The fact that they were out of stock of almost everything by 4, including items that were listed as available and I later had to replace on the phone, just adds to it. I would not recommend this location.

    Tables not cleaned
    Denise M.

Cleanliness. Not at this location in 2021. The number of tables you can sit at is quite limited. They are random. It's not every other table. Some entire rows are blocked, and other rows can be used. So diners may be seated close to one another as opposed to six feet or more away from other diners. And this is one of those Panera locations where one person parks in a booth with their laptop and stays for hours. The tables are not cleaned, it looks like they haven't been wiped down all day. Plan to clean your own table if you want to sit here. Food is predictable quality, service is so-so.

This review is solely for rapid pickup. I'm a huge fan of ordering rapid pickup! I like to modify the heck out of things, and it's easy on their app. I stopped by this location around 2 on a Wednesday afternoon to pickup my (heavily modified) order. They got it perfect! I can't say that about every visit at every location because it's usually inconsistent.

So wrong. don't see any tomato or bacon??? how dumb can you be

Tepid coffee (at noon); tuna salad sandwich tasty and tomato and greens fresh, but tuna gooey and oozes out (typical). A/C a bit chilly.

You can also find traditional steak and chicken dishes if that's more your thing. I like YaYa's because the atmosphere and food alike feel elevated yet still approachable. Service here is full-service and polished - bordering on fine-dining. Servers wear button down shirts and a tie. Although there's no strict dress-code enforced, most people dining here will be a bit dressed up depending on the occasion they're celebrating. You'll be just fine in nice jeans here too. We frequent for date night and don't veer far from the Chicken Gnocchi appetizer, Spinach Salad, Chicken Penne, Shrimp Risotto, and Filet. Their Scallops dish is good here too that comes with Saffron Orzo. They will bring out delicious bread and Baba Ghanoush at the beginning of your meal. I could make a meal just out of the Baba Ghanoush it is addicting! The Chicken Gnocchi is an appetizer but could easily be an entrée. The chocolate soufflé dessert takes about 30 minutes so be sure to tell your server ahead of time if you have something sweet in mind. The Buttercake dessert is good as well but super rich. We went for dinner last night and could tell something was off with both the Front-of-House and Kitchen. Lights on higher than normal, staff members appeared a bit frantic including the host, and the food did not visually look how it normally comes out nor did it taste exactly right. Some things oversalted. I don't want to rate 4 stars instead based on yesterday's experience since overall we've had a 5 star experience the past years coming here but this night specifically felt subpar. They may be going through a staffing shortage which is tough and we understand.

They have a good sized parking lot and it was easy to find a close spot. First, a big thank you to the manager for setting us up in the private dining room. That really made our dinner so incredibly special. I would really like to bring a group here to enjoy that space. Our server was Alex and she kept our wine glasses full and the plates of food coming. Our meal was paced well. She took very good care of us. Our friend ordered the mezze plate which included pita points, crackers, whole rainbow carrots, and celery with three dips that included whipped feta, hummus, and a red pepper hummus. They also brought out their delicious fresh bread with baba ghanoush. The bread is so perfect that it doesn't even need any type of spread. I ordered the side spinach salad, which was a refreshing way to start my meal. I decided on the five cheese pizza with olive oil and it was very good and very rich. I was only able to eat two slices. My dining companions ordered pizza and pasta dishes. Everyone was very happy with their meal. I concluded my meal with a phyllo wrapped brownie that came with chocolate sauce, fresh raspberries, and cream. It basically looks like a brownie burrito. It's quite decadent and I enjoyed it. My dining companions ordered an after-dinner, espresso drink, and another friend ordered the bread pudding, both with happy outcomes. I'm looking forward to coming back to try brunch.

I took a gander at the menu and decided on the grilled chicken rice bowl and a small piece of the pistachio baklava all to go. It wasn't long until my food was ready and off I went. Since I was hungry, I figured I'd try the baklava to hold me over until I got home. To my surprise, it was freezing cold! I've never had cold baklava in my life, so suffice to say it was a bit unsettling. Since I was focusing on how cold it was, I couldn't even tell you if it was actually good. Since the baklava wasn't hitting, I was really hoping the bowl would but unfortunately, that, too, came up short. There was a garlic sauce on top but it did absolutely nothing for the bowl. I think the bowl lacked flavor and was disappointing considering how good it looks in all the pictures. While my first experience wasn't the best, I'd be willing to give them another shot but it won't be anytime soon.

We then moved on to the Napoli salad, it is as described on the menu...crisp, and appropriately dressed. Then we had the special pizza of the evening, it was a black garlic base (not strong) with mushrooms and burrata on top - delicious. We also happen to be sitting next to the area with the pizza oven - a must see if you are there. We did sit inside, but outdoor seating was available. What might not be so familiar, but I thought was great, was a more casual atmosphere, and decor, I would classify is as upscale casual. Our server was very pleasant, the only thing that surprised me was the time in between courses seemed a bit longer than expected, but that gave my friends and I a chance to catch up. We called ahead and made a reservation for five, and everything went smoothly--we were seated right on time. Our server was attentive and provided excellent service throughout the evening. I ended up going with a house salad (with rustic croutons, hard-boiled egg, cucumbers, bacon, tomatoes, and cheddar) paired with their vinaigrette dressing, along with the ahi tuna entrée. The tuna was sesame-crusted and served with sriracha aioli, soy ginger sherry sauce, sushi rice, and spinach. The presentation really stood out--it was sliced and arranged over the rice in a way that almost resembled a sushi roll. Everything tasted fantastic, and while the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food makes it worth it. They also have other inventive offerings in their cocktail menu and a varied selection of wine by the glass. Normally, I prefer a locally owned establishment but the location was convenient and honestly, the menu sounded good. I did not get a steak, much to my personal dismay but my friend did and I thought he liked his. We started with some drinks (wine for me and my one friend and a cocktail for the other). Our waiter was very pleasant and gave us plenty of time to decide in between friendly chatter. We had a little mishap where my friend's wine (red wine) fell off the tray and went everywhere. They gave him some towels and soda water to clean and were very apologetic. He was wearing jeans, thankfully! They even took it off his bill to compensate for the trouble. The manager came out and again apologized. We started with some calamari which were delicious and freshly prepared. They were light and crunchy with a wonderful marinara accompaniment. I ordered the ahi tuna prepared medium, served on top of sushi rice. Both the preparation and flavors were exceptional. We were offered dessert twice but simply could not accommodate any more. The food we had were good and satisfied our appetite. I would, of course, like to come back here and try their steak someday!
