    Mussels. Yum!

Most recent trip. Service was great. Soda was flat. Seafood stew was just ok. The mussels had a bit of fishy smell and tasty. Scallops were good. Shrimp were ok. Lobster app was great.

Ambience was good, side room next to bar a little small and the noise carries greatly, I wish they had some type of sound walls, so it wasn't too intimate for conversations and it was a bit darker inside if you are a person that needs some light. Onion soup was delicious and one of the best out there. The filet flavor was 4 out of 5. Next time I'd think I'd go for this fish or halibut. Didn't try the desserts but next time it's on my list.

I've been somewhat hesitant to review this place because I don't want it to become more crowded. It is by far my favorite restaurant in the Chesterfield to Lake St Louis area of the metro. It is consistently one of the best meals in the metro area. I've been here many times and they remembered me from my second visit on. Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, professional staff. The dining room is small with the bar on the left but it usually isn't difficult to be seated quickly. I rarely eat anything off the menu because they have so many specials every time I'm there based upon what is in season. If you like fresh, thoughtfully prepared fish, it's the best place I know in the city. I'm also a huge fan of the Brussel sprouts.

    GRILLED PORK RIB CHOP

My wife says we never have to go back. First, the good. I had the Westchester Onion Soup and the Pork Rib Chop. I thought the soup was good but not great. The Pork Rib Chop was excellent. Well prepared and paired nicely with the sweet potato puree. My wife had the Sea Bass special. She thought it was ok, but the sauce tasted like "Campbell tomato soup base". Service was good. Now the bad. Our month-old reservation put us at the 1st table as you walk in the door. Each new guest got to view our table and stand there. If you make a reservation, ask not to be seated there. It has to be one of the worst tables in the house. I see people say "ambiance" and "romantic". I would say this place sounded like a beer-and-shot joint. It was so noisy that we were constantly having to repeat ourselves, and the entire dining experience suffered. We finally just gave up trying to have a conversation. The bar was loud and right next to the dining area. Maybe if you were in the other room, it might be better. In short, this was an extremely disappointing experience. It seemed more expensive than Annie Gunn's, Ruth's Chris, or Stoney River for what we had for dinner. Those are all better options in my opinion. The ambiance was terrible. Not a place to conduct business or want to talk to your dinner partners. If you're spending $175 on dinner, you'd expect much better. Frankly, I don't see the attraction. Again, don't need to go back.

    Complimentary cibatta and herbed butter

Had the pleasure of dining at Westchester. My server was Sam and she rocked it out and I was impressed as she delivered the specials as if she had been studying them for weeks. But beyond that, she was such a joy to speak with and clearly shows shes passionate about being there. First, I ordered an amaretto sour and it was one of the best I've had. Sour mixed with orange and layered with egg white made it pleasing on the palate. You are offered fresh bread and herbed butter and the night's offering was housemade cibiatta. The bread was warm, had an excellent chew and a hint of sweetness which the whipped butter complimented well. I ordered the carrots and filet mignon with gorgonzola butter and shaved truffle. The carrots were dynamite. Fire roasted, drizzled with honey that had a nice kick with goat cheese and bread crumbles. The filet, however, was the show stopper. It was tender, well seasoned, and melted in your mouth. The potatoes were rich and creamy, and cognac peppercorn added enough without being overpowering. This is a lovely little gem in Chesterfield and highly encourage to check it out.

The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Although the restaurant is relatively small, it is tastefully decorated and offers a pleasant dining atmosphere.

    Pork Chop of my dreams

I don't know where to start. To begin, when we arrived the chef was greeting people at the door and seating them. Because this was my first time there I have no idea if this is regular practice, but it was a nice touch! The restaurant is small and VERY ambient, so this made the evening feel personal. We ordered cocktails and a lot of appetizers - all of which I forgot to take a photo of because they were gobbled so quickly. We had the wings - unbelievable flavor and unlike any wing I've had. The calamari - FULL of flavor, with a great aoli. The brussel sprouts - I'd like to just eat a plate of those for dinner. Amazing. And you get bread at your table with butter they make on site. Incredible. Now let's get to the stars - the entrees. I have NEVER in my life ordered a pork chop. It's just not my thing. But...I saw a picture of it on their Instagram and took a chance. When I say it was absolutely incredible - that's an understatement. On a bed of sweet potato purée whose sweetness complemented the crispy char of the pork chop - 10/10. Everyone else also raved about their food - we had another chop, a filet, and the duck. 10/10 experience. A must go.

    Deconstructed carrot cake.

The executive chef checked me in for my solo dinner reservation. He was so welcoming. This was my fourth dinner at Westchester and it never disappoints. I found the most amazing pork chop in St. Louis! The venue is intimate so I don't feel isolated in a huge space. The martini is a generous pour. It was my 75th birthday dinner for myself. Thanks for making an amazing memory.

    Seafood!

Best food in Chesterfield! Bartenders Bryan & James are amazing and very creative. Food is so good, remember to call for reservations or hit the bar up after 8pm.

This restaurant was so amazing in many ways! The decor is so cute and it is fairly spacious inside so you don't feel like you are cramped. We had an amazing server, Brandi, who was super interactive and gave us great suggestions. Every plate was presented meticulously and was as delicious as it looked. The desserts are not to be missed! The carrot cake and creme brûlée were delicious - I would go back just for the dessert!

The service was excellent The server came around often and refilled water and wine glasses The specials sounded amazing but the BEEF was out of our price range. We will return and try it again

    Shrimp, Scallops, Crab... n Grits!

Go there and get it all! 2025, starting off with a bang! This whole experience was amazing. Entering the space, instantly felt warm and inviting. It's not a huge space and they do a great job invoking the spirit of a New York vibe. I forgot I was in StL for a moment. Glass of Reisling, Dr. Loosen, to kick off and this is very well balanced without an aftertaste. A shot of Clase Azul Reposado just to see what the hype was about... yes, it's very smooth! Crab Fries and Wings for the starter, both of them amazing. The Fries are tossed in what seems to be a crab butter because the crab flavor hits throughout. The crab on top is ample and juicy. The wings are smoked and fried, served with the sauces on the side, it's the perfect bite. I can definitely vision future happy hours with these 2. One of the dinner specials this evening was the Shrimp, Crab, Scallops n Grits.. an enhanced Shrimp n Grits. I had to get it and it was the right play. The grits were creamy and smooth without it being too much on the plate. Ample seafood, enough for the full dish. All the flavors were on point. Made it to dessert... barely. 5 Layer Chocolate Cake, it's rich and decadent. Added ice cream on the side which evened out the richness. This is definitely a place for an elevated meal and service. All the staff were friendly and enjoyable to be around. Cheers!

Stevie was my server that night and she provided friendly top notch service. I ordered a spicy margarita for my cocktail. I was a little disappointed with the drink. It was very cucumber forward, had a nice heat, but lacked that signature lime flavor and tartness required of a good margarita. The brussel sprouts and cheese grits were a must try for me. The pork chop was the perfect entree to accompany these sides. The brussel sprouts were charred and crispy. The balsamic glaze paired nicely with the charred flavor. The pork chop is served in a very generous portion juicy and tender. The citrus sauce paired nicely with the pork. The cheese grits were creamy and delicious. All in all a delightful meal. The portions were generous enough for me to have hearty meal of leftovers the next day. The menu is fairly concise with burgers, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, beer/pork/chicken entrees, and salads. I plan on bringing my friends next time to share this dish.

We told the host that we would be standing on their patio since there was no place to stand inside. After waiting for about a half hour, a new person (I believe the owner) walked out and asked us what we were waiting for. We had been crossed off the list and were just standing around aimlessly for much of the time. We were seated in overflow tables outside, of which there were multiple, and we could have been seated 30 minutes prior. We were told by others in the party that checking in here is often challenging. Off to more info: The interior has a cozy upscale pub feel with sports playing on multiple TVs. There was live music last night with a $5 cover charge, which seems reasonable. The crowd is mostly older and dressed in business casual. I enjoyed the salmon tacos with a side salad. The tacos came with a fresh Sriracha-mayo (or similar) sauce and mango salsa topping. The salad had an avocado ranch dressing. I paired it with a house Pinot Grigio. The server was attentive despite the busy night at this smaller grille. Outdoor seating on the patio has a wind screen with heaters, and we could still hear the music (without being charged a cover fee, bonus). Overall, we would definitely return and just be ready for some errors while checking in.

I'm not usually one to harp on service at a restaurant but this was egregious. It took over an hour and a half for food to come out and another 20 minutes for mains. The kitchen staff did look short, but I can't imagine it takes that long to whip up some deviled eggs. Additionally, we were informed half way in that two of the three items we ordered they had somehow ran out of. Mind you this was at 7:30, peak dinner service. For the sake of being nitpicky, we had also only received a singular water refill the entire night. Brutal. Now I would be willing to set all of this aside if the food actually delivered to any degree, but it was all very below par. These deviled eggs were sad. I am confident I could make these better at home, better yet buy them at a grocery store. While the pork shank was massive, the chutney it came cooked in was entirely too salty and dominated what was already a one-note flavor profile. The burger was nothing extraordinary.. definitely more rare than the medium we had asked for. Just an overall dissatisfactory experience to say the least. One of the more memorable meals I've had, but for all the wrong reasons. TLDR: Brutal service, mediocre food
