Excellent service. 2 are perfect for a meal. The pizza was our favorite. Next time we want to give the desserts a try.

I moved here in October from California and did not have any experience with Kolaches previously. I was excited to try St Louis Kolache as it is a short walk from my house. These Kolaches do not disappoint! Today I enjoyed the Egg & Cheese and newly added Crab Rangoon. Both were incredibly fluffy - the bread is so light and delicious. Both fillings were perfectly warm with a nice balance of egg & cheese and crab & cream cheese to bread ratio. Previously I have loved the Jalapeño Popper and Ham, Egg, Cheese & Jalapeño kolaches but I do think the Crab Rangoon has moved into my top favorites! The service is friendly & quick if you walk in or order online! Definitely recommend

I honestly had no idea that St Louis was a kolache city. Coming from Texas, kolaches are everywhere. So of course while in St Louis, I had to indulge. This spot kept coming up on folks' list of best kolaches...and I can't say no to a BEC anything. In addition to the BEC kolache, we also tried the ham, egg, cheese, & jalapeño kolache and bacon Mac & cheese kolache. The bread was delicious. It was exactly the soft, pillowy brioche level dough. However, the filling was a little subpar for me. I barely tasted any of the cheese which made the kolaches a little dry. It also lacked any discernible flavor so I had to turn to hot sauce for a lil kick. If I lived in St Louis, I'd likely eat here again if I needed a quick breakfast, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

We always make sure to stop in at least once anytime we are visiting. Can't get these tasty treats anywhere in Michigan. Absolutely love them: it's like getting as many mini meals as you want in one sitting. I got the jalapeño popper (really great if you like a hot kick), pizza (yummy), Buffalo chicken (great flavor slightly spicy), sloppy Joe (delicious flavor), brisket and crab Rangoon that are all must have's in my opinion. Only thing is that most people probably can't eat as many as I can so you'll probably want to pick your top 3. Dessert ones are tasty too but I prefer filling up on the lunch and specialty ones. Always prepared perfectly and you get $5 of your first app order which we did this time and it was super simple to set up! (Which is basically 2 for free). Definitely a must try for a tasty and quick lunch!

I love this place. This staff is friendly and helpful. And look at the amount of salmon in this kolache!!! Seriously, they are all extremely flavorful, priced right and filling. When I go in here I always buy a dozen to share with my office. This is easily the treat the goes the fastest in the breakroom.

Honestly, if you judged it by the outside, you might drive right past it. There is one parking spot in front, and then a run down parking lot behind and to the side. The moment I walked in, I felt like I was back in my childhood. The lime green decor, the dark bakery display cases filled with buns, and the small plates of food inside reminded me of the Cantonese bakeries I grew up going to. They also had ready to go meals wrapped up to take home. We bought a bunch of things to try. We had the beef cheung fun, siu mai, BBQ pork baos, sesame balls, egg custard tarts, and one of my favorites, the giant round sponge cake. Everything was fresh and really tasty. The roast pork looked delicious too, with nice crispy skin. The biggest surprise for me was seeing lo po beng (Old Wife Cake). We can hardly ever find it on the East Coast, so whenever we do, we always buy some for my mom. Seeing it here made me so happy. I live in the Metro D.C. area, where we have some really good Cantonese bakeries, so I wasn't expecting much from this tiny place. But honestly, Wei Hong Bakery could definitely give many of the bakeries back home a run for their money. Don't let the outside fool you. If you're looking for authentic Cantonese bakery items in St. Louis, this little bakery is absolutely worth a visit. It brought back so many childhood memories, and I'd definitely stop again the next time I'm in town.

They were one of my favorite pastries she made. (Obv not super important I just thought she may not know & what could it hurt giving her some input from a customer, she may know know?) In this message I also told her how long I'd been supporting her & why and how much I loved her bakery. She is black, female, and truly an artist and master at her craft. With a good personality, That being said; she unleashed her fury on me, one of the angriest most condescending messages I had ever read. Not sure if I caught her on a bad day or she just doesn't handle feedback well. I was stunned and disappointed. Either way, I would never consider stepping foot into her bakery ever again. Her window has maybe 5 things to choose from. It's pretty sad, but there were 2 items I love love loved, and I drove out of my way and paid top dollar for those items. She's by far one of the most expensive bakeries in St. Louis, but I enjoyed supporting her I thought she was great. And she has a moving story.
