I never knew I could fall in love with a snack so good. Kolaches are large rolls filled with multiple kinds of filling from sausage and gravy, brisket, egg and cheese, and so many other combinations. They also have danish kinds with cherry, blueberry, or even smores! Kolaches are great for every occasion. This is a chain restaurant and this location is very accessible but does not have a public restroom. The space is bright and has a few tables if you want to eat them there of drink a cup of regular drip coffee. The service is always fast and friendly. They offer to heat them up in the microwave too before you leave too which is great if you are eating them on the road. I recommend 1 kolache for kids under 10 and 2 for adults if you want to be full. Each one is as large as a medium bagel. read more

My family and I gave this place a try after moving to Ballwin, MO and I must say that it was an interesting choice. We ordered via DoorDash so I'm not at all familiar with the ambience of the establishment however, the food that we ordered was delicious and very filling to say the least. The service we received from them was great as the food was delivered hot and on time. I'm definitely, interested in trying more of what they have to offer at St. Louis Kolache. My recommendation is to give them a try next time you're wanting something new. I doubt you'll regret it. read more

The kolaches here are okay, but I don't think they're as good as Kolache Factory's. Though I am willing to try (and will most likely do it) a head to head competition between the two. I mean, you can't have too many kolaches! My other complaint at this particular store is that I ordered online, at LEAST 1 1/2 hours before coming by to pick them up. I did this because I know these places don't remake a flavor once they run out for the day. It's always get 'em while you can! When I walked in, my order hadn't been filled because "they'd been having issues with their online ordering system". Well, really? Come early! At 12pm they were already sold out of most of the "sweet" flavors, the only one that was left was peach. It was okay but i wished i had gotten to try the apple. Our group all enjoyed the flavors they tried, the spinach artichoke, gooey butter cake, merica, and bacon and hashbrowns. Service was quick and simple. Staff was friendly. I moved here in October from California and did not have any experience with Kolaches previously. I was excited to try St Louis Kolache as it is a short walk from my house. These Kolaches do not disappoint! Today I enjoyed the Egg & Cheese and newly added Crab Rangoon. Both were incredibly fluffy - the bread is so light and delicious. Both fillings were perfectly warm with a nice balance of egg & cheese and crab & cream cheese to bread ratio. Previously I have loved the Jalapeño Popper and Ham, Egg, Cheese & Jalapeño kolaches but I do think the Crab Rangoon has moved into my top favorites! I honestly had no idea that St Louis was a kolache city. Coming from Texas, kolaches are everywhere. So of course while in St Louis, I had to indulge. This spot kept coming up on folks' list of best kolaches...and I can't say no to a BEC anything. In addition to the BEC kolache, we also tried the ham, egg, cheese, & jalapeño kolache and bacon Mac & cheese kolache. The bread was delicious. It was exactly the soft, pillowy brioche level dough. However, the filling was a little subpar for me. I barely tasted any of the cheese which made the kolaches a little dry. It also lacked any discernible flavor so I had to turn to hot sauce for a lil kick. If I lived in St Louis, I'd likely eat here again if I needed a quick breakfast, but it wouldn't be my first choice. read more

We always make sure to stop in at least once anytime we are visiting. Can't get these tasty treats anywhere in Michigan. Absolutely love them: it's like getting as many mini meals as you want in one sitting. I got the jalapeño popper (really great if you like a hot kick), pizza (yummy), Buffalo chicken (great flavor slightly spicy), sloppy Joe (delicious flavor), brisket and crab Rangoon that are all must have's in my opinion. Only thing is that most people probably can't eat as many as I can so you'll probably want to pick your top 3. Dessert ones are tasty too but I prefer filling up on the lunch and specialty ones. I tried this place a few days ago and immediately came back for seconds. I've had the brisket, pulled pork, meatball, stl pizza and sausage and gravy. The sausage and gravy were great breakfast before traveling home to Michigan. Easy to reheat and filling and tasted soo good. I took two coworkers and they enjoyed them so much they bought enough to take back to Michigan the following day. We had looked to get breakfast at St. Louis Kolache a couple times over the Christmas break, and finally visited after Mass on New Year's Day. I have enjoyed them at work on many occasions, as team members and vendors bring kolaches (ko-lach-ees) to share. My wife is on a low-carb diet so wasn't planning to dine on them. Our daughter was eager to try them, and our son shared lack of desire to try something new. After we walked in, though, our son's mood changed. He quickly ordered three of the fruit kolaches and was the first one done once we got back home and started eating. Our daughter became quite excited when she saw the Mac and Cheese version. When she got home, her smile proved that the flavor was as good as she hoped. I tried two new flavors - a Cuban (Pappy's brisket!) and a Reuben... both were awesome!
