Luckily, Casey Jones RV Park was just down the street. I called late Monday afternoon, spoke to Rose, who was so friendly and accommodating. Explained the RV repair situation and that we didn't know if our stay was going to be 1,2 or 3 nights. She said.."no problem". I asked for 2 nights, not knowing what the future held. They were very flexible & accommodating. Day 3.... AM..... . yeaaaa, RV was fixed. I gave my many "thank you's" and said goodbye. We were checking out !! Well, we got about 4 miles down the road.... engine alerts came back on and we turned the Coach around and headed back to repair shop. I called back to Casey Jones RV and asked for a 3rd night. Again, they said "no problem... and said that they even saved my same spot for us". . Almost like they knew we'd be back !! Now on Day 4.... RV fixed and we got on our way to continue our trip. Besides being very close to the Truck Service Center....... This park is nice, quiet and easy in & out for our 43 ft Coach. Reasonable overnight prices as well. YES..... I would stay here again & recommend to others.

Our pull‑through site had full hookups (30 & 50 amp service) and plenty of room to maneuver, making setup easy and stress‑free. Each site is beautifully lined on both sides with magnolia bushes and trees, providing a surprising amount of privacy and a peaceful, park‑like feel. We also appreciated that each site has a separate spigot for washing your rig or vehicle, which is a thoughtful and convenient feature. One of the biggest advantages for us was the easy access to I‑95. We used this campground as a two‑night stopping point to break up our drive from Myrtle Beach to Miami, and the location was perfect--quick on and off the highway without the noise you might expect. The amenities here truly stand out. There are multiple bath houses and laundromats, all clean and convenient, plus a well‑stocked store with RV supplies and LP gas. The entire resort is handicap accessible, which is clearly reflected in the layout and facilities. There's no shortage of things to do--fishing on the lake, relaxing by the swimming pool, or enjoying shuffleboard, horseshoes, and the game room. The pavilion fire rings, dock, and conference center add even more versatility. What really sets this place apart is the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. When we had an issue, they quickly referred us to a local mobile RV repair technician, who was wonderful and took great care of us. For the 2026 Fourth of July holiday, our family reserved adjoining RV sites and a nearby cabin at…read moreOcean Grove RV Park in St. Augustine Beach, Florida. One member of our group confirmed on June 30 that all of our reservations were paid in full. When we arrived on July 2, we were told by the general manager, April, that we had not "locked in" our reservations and that one of our adjoining sites had been given to another guest. We disputed this because our reservations had already been paid. Another employee, Ingrid, reviewed our reservation and stated that the site showed as paid. At that point, April ended the discussion and informed us that the adjoining sites were no longer available. As we attempted to explain our documentation, April said we were being disrespectful and called the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office. When the deputy arrived, we explained that we were willing to move our RVs but needed the gate code to maneuver them out of the park. The deputy confirmed that we had not been given the information needed to move and instructed the manager to provide it. Because we had receipts showing our reservations had been paid, we also requested an immediate refund before leaving. The deputy suggested that refunding our payment would be the quickest way to resolve the situation, and the refund was processed. The entire experience was stressful and disappointing, especially after planning our family holiday around adjoining campsites. We expected better communication and customer service, particularly after our reservations had been confirmed and paid. Seeing the Good Sam affiliation displayed at the park made the experience even more disappointing because it did not reflect the level of professionalism we expected.

It was well attended by at 30+ campers, residents, and visitors. The food and fellowship were great. Everyone seemed to have a good time and no one went home hungry! The park atmosphere is laid-back and most residents are friendly and outgoing, always willing to help when needed and offer RV advice if something breaks. Nearby Lake City and Live Oak have about all of the restaurants and stores you will ever need. The park is endeavoring to add more weekly events such as games and Bingo nights, as well as an occasional Saturday evening LIVE GOSPEL MUSIC and sing-alongs. It's about five miles from exit 22 on I75. I called before making my way off of the exit. I hate calling campgrounds! Why do they all give you an interview? What does it matter what year the RV is? Other than that, it was a pretty stellar RV park. They don't allow tent camping and I didn't see any pop ups. We checked in around noon on a Friday and even though there were only a couple of sites available, it was extremely quiet. They were having a pizza party at the community center and on our last walk, we passed a group gathered around the communal fire pit. The bathrooms are near the community center, which is in the back of the campground and at the entrance. There is nothing except one small lounge/bar right outside of the grounds and a Dollar General about two miles before you get to the RV park. So, you better come prepared. There is a walking trail that's off the beaten path. We were happy to escape the Kentucky snow, so the balmy 73 degrees for was much welcomed and we took advantage for a couple of walks. There were also a few cabins that I think were priced pretty reasonably. I wouldn't necessarily call them cabins though. They were more like modular homes with dark brown siding. Still, probably better than staying the night at a Red Roof Inn.
