What an amazing place. The st marys breakfast was delicious! The eggs were light and fluffy, and the biscuit was so light.! Definitely the place to stop to support such a good clause! Courtney was amazing bartender!!

The food was excellent. We are visiting from Louisville, Kentucky and my husband is from New Orleans. As soon as they saw the red beans and rice he was sold. And the red beans and rice were delicious. The cornbread was very moist. I loved my eggs Benedict. His red beans and rice came with a side dish and he ordered the salad. He loved the dressing. We will be back.

Searched for best breakfast on Metarie, A on YELP and GROK. Both said St. Mary's Restaurant. Headed over with mom and it did not disappoint. Great food, service, ambiance and price.

The food was delicious. The service is limited. You order at the counter. You carry your drinks to your table. There are self serve coffee refills. The coffee was better than average for a small restaurant. The woman who took our order was very friendly and happily refilled my coffee for me before I noticed the self serve station. Being from the southwest I rarely eat grits but these were very good.

Saint Mary's Restaurant is a new restaurant that opened on West Metairie. Their business model helps those with developmental disabilities. The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and inviting, and the staff couldn't be nicer--genuinely friendly, attentive, and happy to make sure you're taken care of. The food was outstanding. The Orange Julius was better than the ones they used to have a Lakeside. The grillades and grits were phenomenal. Tender, flavorful with perfectly cooked grits. Overall, Saint Mary's is a gem--great people, great vibe, and incredible food. Highly recommended!

First time at St Mary's and I was not disappointed! Had one of the best bloody Mary's I've ever had! Grits and Grillades are wonderful and the staff are so friendly and love their jobs and the restaurant. I will definitely be back soon!

I happened upon this new restaurant and it did not disappoint! Everyone was so friendly and the food was great. The fact that they support a great cause is just the cherry on top. I'll definitely be back!

This was our first time here and it was delicious. The staff was super friendly and explained what St. Mary's Restaurant is all about. 15% of the proceeds go towards St. Mary's School for special needs. This is a family run business and I'm so glad we decided to try them out this morning. The atmosphere was warm and cozy and they have a full service bar to mix up any drink you like. Our waitress Marcy was phenomenal. We got a Bloody Mary and an Irish coffee which were both delicious. The grits & grillades made me feel like I was back at home in my mommas kitchen. The Cajun Benny was so good. Everything came out super hot and fresh. We will definitely be back to try out their dinner menu next time.

Wonderful service! The food was delicious, parking was easy, and a great place to meet up.

Cajun Benny. Boudin with amazing greens and poached egg. Cheese grits were awesome too

This place deserves more than 5 stars. From the greeting and the seating to the service and the attention to detail. This neighborhood gem should be packed all the time. They support the St Mary's school with profits and that in itself is wonderful. Mr Ed made sure we knew their history and how all the food is sourced. Can't wait to go back and support.

Best omelet I ever had. My kids said the smash burgers were awesome. Plus it profits St. Mary's for people with developmental disabilities.

District meets the suburbs…read more I've been to the locations on Magazine and Harrison several times but 1st time I have been to this one. This one feels like a chain restaurant (which it now is) and has no real personality being pinned in between a bike shop and a Jersey Mike's inside of strip mall. The kolaches at District are really good. They have a variety of flavors, I usually get a smoked sausage, cheese and jalapeno which is tasty but this time I got a brisket boudin and cream cheese kolache in a collaboration with Gonzo's. This was phenomenal. I also got a regular glazed donut. This was not that good. It's too dense and too thick. I like my glazed donuts to be light and airy; I want it to almost melt in my mouth. All of District's donuts are thick. Most of them are good especially the banana pudding donut. The issue is these aren't really donuts more like cakes or just a dessert. If you are coming to get your order to go this place is fine but if you want to hang out, I prefer the other locations.

The dough is soft, buttery, and rich without being heavy, and the cinnamon-sugar filling is perfectly balanced (sweet but not cloying). You can tell it's made with the same care as their donuts. The icing is generous without drowning the cake, and the traditional Mardi Gras sprinkles add that classic festive touch. It's indulgent, flavorful, and dangerously easy to keep slicing "just one more piece." Also worth noting: it stays moist for days, which is rare for king cake. If you're torn between traditional and over-the-top versions, this is a great middle ground--classic flavor, elevated execution. Easily one of the better king cakes in the city, and definitely worth picking up during the season. Would 100% buy again.

The service was nice the first time but the second time we really didn't have a good one. We had a guy that was really nonchalant and didn't pay us any mind. I could go into more detail but no need to bash anyone. But when someone acts like that it makes the food mediocre. But the food was decent my favorite thing I ate was the French Toast it was sweet and moist easily a get it again. The Crab Rangoon dip was elite as well so creamy and full of flavor. The Harrison BLT was a big let down just felt they didn't put any effort into it was kind of just there. A BLT is a very simple dish but has to be made with love and care. The Winser Scramble had a lot of potential but it only had 3 shrimp in there it's hard to forgive that when that's the only protein it has in there. The hangover bowl was pretty nice, literally any dish makes you get over any hangover you have brisket in a dish it's always hearty. Now to the McOutpost, I love the idea of it. I felt if the biscuit was a bit firmer and more flaky it would've been nice. Overall this spot is a pretty cool spot to go catch a vibe and a bite.
