We got to Cheddar's, on Westport, for an early dinner one evening last week and we were seated…read moreimmediately. That is where the downhill problem began. There were two other couples seated in our area and a third couple was seated just after we were seated. There were three servers in our area as well. The couple that were seated after us got served and received their drinks while we sat there. We waited for 5 minutes without being acknowledged or waited on. My wife and I decided to leave and approached the front desk. We asked for the manager so we could talk with her. She came up and we told her what had just transpired. We were never told who the server was but one of the hosts stated that our server had a very busy section. I looked around and there probably only 10 couples in the entire restaurant and we saw three servers were waiting on one table each. The manager just said she was sorry and didn't do anything else. I told her that this was the second time this has happened during the past three visits to that particular Cheddar's. I stated that we would not be back and that their service was unacceptable.
