The staff immediately greeted us and promptly led us to our table. The menu is large and varied. One surprise was that they had lobster bisque- we all ordered that as an appetizer. My son ordered wings with fries and coleslaw and my wife and I ordered potato skins. The bisque was very good. When they brought out the rest of the order, we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the buffalo wings. For some reason, so many restaurants have turned to serving miniature, anemic chicken wings thinking the customer doesn't care. Bungalow Joes is one of the rare places to serve legitimate chicken wings and legs. They were huge and delicious!!! The potato skins were smaller but full of flavor. The coleslaw was a winner- they called it Caribbean coleslaw and described it as sweeter than typical coleslaw. The coleslaw was sweeter and my son and wife loved it. The fires were good, as well. All in all, we had a great lunch at Bungalow Joe's. Our waitress was great, the food was legit and the atmosphere was perfect for a sports bar. The wings ensured that we will be back. The pickle chips were a little on the salty side. The fish dinner entree was really good with well apportioned pieces of fish, fresh onion rings and cole slaw which was a little weird with the pineapple in them but still tasty. My server was really nice and ensured everything was delivered in a timely manner. Next time I will try a burger and see how that goes.

We were never told who the server was but one of the hosts stated that our server had a very busy section. I looked around and there probably only 10 couples in the entire restaurant and we saw three servers were waiting on one table each. The manager just said she was sorry and didn't do anything else. I told her that this was the second time this has happened during the past three visits to that particular Cheddar's. I stated that we would not be back and that their service was unacceptable. But even though that I now live in another neighborhood, my family and I still go back -- this year via a fish fry with some COVID-safety protocols in place. We ended up ordering a few fish meals, which came with hushpuppies, cole slow, fries and fish on rye bread. To pick up this year, there is a pick-up line down Edenside. My husband picked up for us, and while it took a few minutes to get our meals, he said it did move rather smoothly. He did see some people turned away because the fish had sold out, so if you're going to order, order early. And our fish came out deliciously fried. The breading was not mushy, even though it had to last through transport. And this piece of fish was rather large. I loved the fries and the hushpuppies, which are on the sweeter side.
