So ive been going to saint roccos for a long time and I always enjoy the food and pastries there.....However its so frustrating when the girls dont know how to make a Latte......All you need to do to make a nice HOT cup of coffee is to steam the milk until its HOT Not warm or cold......Too many people behind the counters here and so many other places are too much in a rush to serve you , So they dont take the time to steam the milk Very Hot.......For the price we pay it should be done right.....There is this one girl there who truly is the exception as she always does it right.....She is always smiling and is my favorite girl to go to.......Wish I knew her name..But I do know she has been there for a long time........ read more

Terrific bakery! I've gotten into the habit of stopping by here every Saturday morning with a couple of friends for muffins, croissants and coffee. We always leave laden down with fresh bread and rolls for the rest of the crew we left behind at home. The service here is very friendly and efficient, the baked goods are very good and fresh. There is no better place to eat. They are a bakery and have amazing baked products...my faves are the lobster claws and chocolate mousse cake. It is their hot food that puts this place over the top! Mornings they have amazing egg sandwiches and breakfast but the afternoons bring meatballs, sausage and peppers, eggplant parm, chicken wings and an amazing chicken and sausage dish with potatoes, onions and peppers. As of late they've jacked up the prices and decreased the quality. My go to sandwich for years was 7$ it is now 14$!! I know prices are up everywhere I understand, but that does not mean the quality should change along with it. The piece of bread on my sandwich was a sliver/quarter portion of what the bread used to be same goes for the mozz! The sandwich I received was not a sandwich, but a sin. Great as usual, great food one thing to change is the coffee very urgently, the coffee they have is bitter tasting !

I was on my way from Glen Cove Hospital back to the office and it was my coworkers birthday so wanted to pick up a cake. The closest bakery was this one, so I went and bought a coffee cake. I got very lucky to find this spot and apparently it's a well known bakery. The cake was amazing - the bread was extremely soft, just melts in your mouth and the frosting to the different chocolate pieces on top were a perfect compliment. Coworkers all loved it! The prepared foods are excellent. Maybe. a bit ,expensive;,you decide.There is a menu so you can figure out what you like and how much to spend. The baked products are also very good. But $3.50 for a filled donut is expensive and there are no prices in the bakery. I felt like the guy serving was winging the price. . Went to St. Rocco's Feast last night and wow the bakery was wonderful. The bread and cookies and DONUTS! Everything was wonderful. I'm a big fan of donuts. So fresh right out of the oven. This is living. They had a tower of donuts ready to dump into the powdered sugar! One of my favorites. A great place for desert. They also had gelato that I did not get a picture of unfortunately but my friends indulged in that and it went quick! This place does not disappoint. If you like dessert check it out. read more

The second you walk into St. Rocco's you feel the love. It's warm, there's great music playing and you can feel that it's run by a family. The food is off the charts classic Italian bakery style. For breakfast I had just a delightful cup of coffee to start and I was graced with the presence of a dish called Eggs in Purgatory. Two beautifully creamy yolky eggs covered in a rich tomato sauce served with huge slices of fresh bread for dipping. My Italian heart sang songs that day. I also ordered their breakfast pizza which was a gorgeous cheese pizza topped with two perfectly runny Sunnyside eggs. I'm glad I took pictures because that bad boy was demolished SO FAST. Food is great! Employees are great! Bread is FANTASTIC! Pricing is an absolute joke, to the point that the owner should be embarrassed. Think about it, they refuse credit card and still have the highest prices. By not accepting credit cards they then don't have to pay the fees, yet they still jack the price up. An apple cider donut is almost $4.00! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? I'm hoping they keep exquisite records just incase the IRS comes calling. My father in law is retired IRS and has always told us that they keep an extra keen eye on those businesses that refuse credit cards. read more

Haven't been to Glen Cove in years but today made a pit stop at St Roccos and it didn't disappoint.The sfogaliatelle was crispy, fresh and filled to the delight of my entire family. I snatched the last cheesecake and that too was an Italian masterpiece. Also available was a case of foods for lunch but came for the carbs and got just what I needed. We recently stopped by here for the annual St. Rocco's feast. Neither of us had attended it in the past and really who wants to turn down good Italian food? Unfortunately, the feast wasn't all it's cracked up to me. On our way out, we did stop and buy some napoleons and cannolis, though. The napoleon was a bit weak. It completely fell apart, even after sitting in the fridge for a couple of hours. The fact they kept everything displayed during the feast directly in the sunlight probably didn't help. The custard was just okay. I had the cannoli the next day and that was slightly better. The shell was good, the filling was just okay. For $2 per pastry you can't really complain, though. read more

Definitely one of, if not the best bakeries in Glen Cove. The Canolis are always fresh, and the desserts are on point! Try a cappuccino because they are great. The staff is helpful and somewhat nice as well. They are hard workers. Haven't tried the pizza or fresh bread yet, but I'm sure it's great. The location is right by the church. Took me a few months to finally understand where it exactly was without using the Internet lol. 07/11/2016 - 2/3 of my pastries were good. The Creme Brulee however, was spoiled. Tasted like spoiled milk and the hard shell glazed was soggy. For this reason I put the bakery down to a 3 star and hopefully my experiences further will bring it back up.
