Stable Hand does it again! We got the iced miso butterscotch latte and the seasonal iced stroopwaffle latte and I loved both! They always have such unique yet delicious flavors. When I went, it was a Saturday morning. Although it seemed busy, we still got our drinks within minutes. It is a great place to get some work done, have a coffee date inside or outside, or read a book. I'm excited to try their food next time I go. read more

Stable Hand is a cool spot to work. I came by in between several meetings while in South End to just sit, eat and work. It was a little busy inside so I grabbed a seat at the coffee bar after I ordered. They had outlets underneath so that was perfect! I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and a matcha latte with oat milk and loved both. The sandwich was kinda tiny but it was only $7 so I wasn't mad at all lol. It was good and so was my matcha. The service was good and I just love this spot for chill vibes. read more

Wonderful coffee spot. I enjoyed a latte with a unique syrup, that I now forget the name of of course. Ha! Barista was very friendly and helpful in describing the flavors. While the pastry case was being restocked when I was there, I enjoyed a breakfast sandwich that now makes all others taste boring. The sausage and peppers were so flavorful. After moving to Charlotte, I was didappointed at the amount of coffee shops with lackluster lattes. Stable Hand was the turning point for me! I am even luckier that it's close enough to walk to from the rail line. The vibes in here are cozy and they have wine and board games too, which makes me wish they were open late. Staff is always friendly and the place is clean. The food portions are quite small for their prices, but I just skip food and get my daily coffee here. read more

I love their coffee and atmosphere! Great place to grab a latte to-go or get some work done. Their vanilla latte on draft is my go-to unless one of their seasonal drinks catch my eye. The breakfast sandwiches are extremely small, almost like a slider size so not worth the money on that front. I just stick to the coffee. read more

Good spot for walking by but I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I got a butterscotch latte and my friend got a brown sugar latte - we weren't sure which was which (friends fault, not the staff) and from tasting to see which was which, we each had to take a few sips to tell them apart. Maybe other drinks will taste more prominent? read more

I stopped by Stable Hand in South End for a pre-work breakfast with a friend, and it's such a charming spot! The minimalist decor gives the space an open, airy vibe, and with only a couple of people there when I arrived around 7:45 AM, it felt calm and relaxing. The sweet barista let me know I could place my coffee order right away, but the kitchen didn't open until 8:00 AM. I went with the Mexican Mocha (dark chocolate, cinnamon, serrano peppers, espresso, milk, and a toasted marshmallow) and the Bacon Brekky Sando (honey-glazed bacon, roasted peppers & onions, egg, cheese on brioche). The Verdict: Bacon Brekky Sando - Tasty but on the smaller side. I couldn't really detect the peppers or onions, and I think a sauce like sriracha would've elevated it even more. Mexican Mocha - I was expecting more heat from the serrano peppers, but it leaned more toward a rich, dark hot cocoa flavor. It wasn't very sweet, even with the toasted marshmallow on top. If you prefer a sweeter coffee, I'd suggest adding extra sugar. The barista also mentioned the White Miso Butterscotch Latte as a sweeter option, and I'll definitely try that next time! Stable Hand is a perfect spot for a laid-back morning coffee run--looking forward to exploring more of their menu! read more

great spot for working! coffees are huge and not super expensive. both drinks were fabulous. i got the white miso butterscotch latte. the flavors were not super overpowering! the brown sugar rosemary was the perfect flavor combo. great spot to work or catch up with friends. there's outlets everywhere and small/large tables. there's also a nice outdoor area for seating in the summer too! read more

Stable Hand was a cool, upscale coffee shop! I just got a black coffee, which is admittedly hard to screw up, but it was still pretty good, the staff was friendly, and the ambiance was very unique, even for the standards of coffee shops. I don't if it's the kind of coffee shop that I would go to to study, but I'd love to meet some friends there sometime. Would recommend! read more

This spot has a modern vibe. I liked that each table had its own plug, which is super convenient if you're working remotely. One downside was that the tables were pretty close together, not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind. I ordered the white miso butterscotch drink, which was good. A delightful coffee shop, decorated in a rather spartan manner. On a Friday morning, quite peaceful as I enjoyed my second coffee of the day. I love coffee shops that have a cortado on the menu. It tells me that they're not one of those button pushing baristas like at the Green Siren people. No, this is real coffee and real art. Served in the proper short glass, this coffee was excellent. Stable Hand has great coffee, matcha, and wine selections. Their atmosphere is clean, modern, and has a bit of an industrial artistic vibe. It gets crowded, but if you can find a seat, it's a great place to have a drink and a snack and get a bit of work done. Their food comes in small portions but is really tasty. I love the bacon egg and cheese, but it might not be enough if you're super hungry. read more

Only rating the $10 wine flight night - definitely too crowded and they ran out of flights at 6 - they have to figure out faster way to do flights or you get two cups - lines for mediocre wine were way too long. We got plastic cups when they ran out of wine glasses and were getting much less of a pour. Hoping to try their coffee and breakfast - heard it was much better !! read more

Didn't love this coffee shop. To be fair, I don't drink coffee but love sitting on patios and catching up on my work and reviews. It was pretty warm outside so I got an iced chai latte with oat milk. The staff member wasn't necessarily helpful or welcoming. I said I'm not a coffee drinker and was looking over the menu to see my other options and he kind of just stood there. Getting an iced chai here is not a good idea. The cup is a standard size but it was filled to the brim with ice and and had absolutely no chai taste. If anything it was like I was drinking cinnamon oat milk. Maybe a plus for some but not what I was expecting that for $6.50. My boyfriend got the 8oz house coffee and was disappointed because it wasn't hot. The inside was full so we sat on the patio for a little bit closer to the dog shop. Those tables aren't covered so we didn't get to stay long. Too much laptop glare. Based on the location I can see how this place can get and stay busy but it just wasn't for me. read more

Stable Hand has become one of my favorite coffee shops in Charlotte! I had their seasonal orange cardamom cappuccino. The coffee was excellent with it having a smooth flavor. The roast used that day was medium but they use a variety of Hex coffee beans. I thought the orange cardamom flavoring was present while not being overly sweet. The inside of Stable Hand is extremely cute. I would love to come back for one of their wine nights. read more

A great location if you are looking to work remotely for the day. Plenty of space, tables/chairs and plugs for your laptops. The drinks are surprisingly large which is a plus in my book ! I got a matcha and it was delicious and very smooth ! The only negative I would say are the restrooms. They need some TLC and a good cleaning ! read more

Stopped by this lovely little coffee shop for a quick jolt of caffeine and a snack. They provided me a refreshing iced oat-milk latte and some hot candied pecans lighting fast! Such a great little treat and the actual location was roomy with enough room to plug in a laptop to get some work done or meet some friends for a casual chat. Didn't notice any music and ppl aren't generally chatty. Food was well flavored and I enjoyed it. Portion size was just right for breakfast. A cute cafe with okay service. Visited Stable Hand in the morning, not too crowed and a good amount of staff working. The first thing I noticed was that the cashier would not make eye contact and was not being attentive to our order. Our drinks and food came out and the order was wrong. A second cashier retook our order and remade our drinks. The meals were not corrected. The savory porridge was good and had a slight kick to it. The sausage and egg breakfast sandwich was also really good (it also has peppers and onions). The coffee was good too. Just wish the service was a bit better! read more

I was in the mood for a hot Latte, and Matcha...and I remembered just how good the Matcha Latte was here when I tried out this place during a Yelp event last year. Sure enough, their Matcha Latte was DEE-Lish...maybe even more so than I had remembered! Again, I loved the gorgeous color of this Latte...and the fancy Latte artwork as well. Definitely Instagrammable! I hit this place around 1 pmish, and it was fairly packed. Am wondering if they plan on adding more tables and chairs in the future. The place is rather spacious, so it seems possible to expand. There were a few misses though. Like, where was the music? This is a coffee bar/lounge...and I felt that (cool) overhead music should have been a requirement. Maybe it was on too low, but I just don't recall hearing ANY music. The lack of music somewhat made me feel stiff and uncomfy while sipping my Latte, alongside a row of strangers. I felt that they definitely missed the mark here. Another disappointment was to see that they didn't have any pastries or any snack item even on sale. Huh?? Normally, I would have docked a star (or 2?) for the lack of overhead music and/or not having my beloved pastries and/or other snacks...BUT their cup of hot Matcha Latte was SO good, I just couldn't. Honestly, I think it was THE best hot Latte I've ever had (counting the ones I've had in bigger cities and countries)! Anyway, can't wait to return for my next cup! I just hope that the overall experience there will be more pleasant next time...with music AND dessert?? read more

Stable Hand is a cute little coffee shop to drop by or stay a while. They have a wide variety of lattes, and were very good; they use Hex coffee. I loved that they offered hot chocolate for the kids and ensured the milk wasn't too hot. On a Saturday, they were pretty busy, and seating is limited. We ultimately opted out of trying the food because we had planned to sit down, but there wasn't anything available. This wouldn't be as much of any issue during warmer months as they have ample outside seating! Parking wasn't difficult and the staff was very nice. All in all, it was pretty good and a new shop I tried thanks to an Offline Charlotte Deal. The food looked like it was good for breakfast and may have to try that if I visit in the future. read more

Yum! My sister loves taking us here when we're in town and we always remember why after that first sip of coffee. The coffee is delicious and the food pairs perfectly. We stopped in for the Brekky Sando, PB&J Tartine, Oat Milk Latte, Matcha Latte, and Peppermint Mocha. Everything was 10/10! This is a cute little coffee/wine shop that has plenty of parking for the area. I will definitely return. Went to visit on a Saturday morning after our E2M workout at Freedom Park. I had the vanilla iced latte and the sausage and egg breakfast sandwich. The latte was good-not too sweet which I can appreciate. The sausage and egg breakfast sandwich was also really good but I wasn't a huge fan of the peppers and onions. Next time I will order it without. This place is so cute and the decor was very well thought of! If you vibe with minimalistic decor, then this is your place. I came in the late afternoon and was still able to find a seat. I love that their outlets are right under the table. I would say that their music is somewhat loud and makes it distracting to do work that requires your attention. They have pastries on the counter for sale... I wonder if they'll taste stale since they're out in the open. As for the drinks, I got a matcha latte and it was really pretty! The matcha latte itself was still a bit powdery and I could feel it on my lips when I was drinking it. The "caviar" is simply roe at $25, and the deviled eggs with roe at $17 were underwhelming. Unless some of the old favorites return or there's more variety added, I don't see myself coming back anytime soon, aside from maybe Flight Night.
