    Birch cake

I called them two weeks prior to when I needed a cake and they were able to accommodate my order. I live out of state and wanted an anniversary cake for my parents. They were able to make the cake and send me an invoice so I could remotely pay for it. The cake turned out perfect and I was informed it tasted amazing.

Every once in a while you just need a place where you can go and tell them your party theme and trust them to come out with something amazing. This is that place. I feel like I found such a gem.

Thank you for the lovely cake Stacie! Not easy to find great quality up North and you are just a gem. My Mom was amazed and everyone thought the cake was delicious. Chocolate cake with raspberry is a fantastic combo. Highly recommended

Custom sewing machine cake! It looked even better than what my cell phone camera could capture.

Stacie and her crew made a custom birthday cake for my wife's birthday. The detail and quality where amazing. It was so nice that my wife cried when she saw it. We looked around and found the highest quality and best price with Stacie.

PSA the tiny hand was added by us, not Stacie haha. But it still looks beautiful!

THE BEST CAKES AND CUPCAKES! Our wedding cakes was absolutely STUNNING! Stacie added the perfect flowers. And the cupcakes were adorable and SO DELICIOUS! Everyone kept commenting on them. She was a dream to work with, and I can't wait to have her cupcakes again. Photo by Caleb + Britt Photo

Carrot Cake & Red Velvet with oh so good Cream Cheese Frosting.

Very personable and welcoming was she. I felt like I had come to a friends for a visit. I called ahead so knew a little about what she offered and had on hand. A small special occasion Gluten Free treat is what I sought. She had just made some fresh GF chocolate cupcakes and had a great vanilla buttercream frosting to top them with. It was my daughter and son in-laws 4th anniversary. I also got carrot and red velvet cupcakes topped with a solid cream cheese frosting. These cakes were just the right texture, not to dense but not so light that they don't satisfy. And the frosting was also perfection. Worth every darn little calorie I am sure was packed in there. Sorry my photos do not even come close to the depth of deliciousness. I didn't get one of the chocolate cupcake but was told it didn't give evidence of being Gluten Free. Oh and I love the individual cupcake packaging. Protective and cute.

Must see eat- to believe ... who knew Idaho had it in them - there's no potato's involved. The salads are fresh and rewarding to the taste buds Everything is house made. The garlic sauce bread sticks .... Wow. And of course the cannoli...... eclairs - so perfect. Every single thing was that good And I've been to NY .. I also have a seasoned pallet ... I know good food. Go eat it. The locals said to and I did.

Ciccarelli's -- Coeur d'Alene…read more As someone who has traveled extensively -- including throughout Italy, one of my favorite places on earth -- I do not say this lightly: Ciccarelli's serves some of the finest pizza I have ever eaten. And I mean anywhere. Italy included. There is something almost impossible to describe about truly exceptional pizza. At a certain level, words begin to fail because great pizza is not analyzed... it's experienced. It's the kind of food that causes conversations to stop mid-sentence because everyone at the table suddenly realizes something special is happening. That's Ciccarelli's. I've lived in Coeur d'Alene barely three weeks and my wife and I have already been there three times. At this point, resistance appears futile. Every pizza we've tried has been a masterpiece. Not "really good." Not "our favorite in town." Masterpiece. The crust alone deserves poetry -- blistered, wood-fired perfection with that delicate balance of crispness, chew, char, and tenderness that only happens when people truly understand dough. Every ingredient tastes intentional. Nothing feels thrown together. Every bite -- from the tip of the slice to the outer crust -- is a full gastronomic experience. Favorites so far: THAT'S AMORE -- red sauce, pepperoni, Italian sausage, red onion, black olives & mozzarella. THE SPICY ITALIAN -- spicy red sauce, pesto, Italian sausage, red onions, fresh mozzarella, parmesan & basil. Ridiculously good. THE STELLA -- olive oil base, goat cheese, prosciutto, apricot preserves & honey drizzle. Sweet, savory, luxurious, and somehow perfectly balanced. And the Pizza Margherita... Listen carefully: A Margherita pizza is the ultimate truth serum for a pizza restaurant. You cannot hide behind toppings. It exposes everything -- crust, sauce, cheese, balance, restraint, technique. Ciccarelli's passes that test with flying colors. Their Margherita has become my weekly sustenance pizza. And then... The desserts. Good grief. Most restaurants treat dessert like an afterthought. Ciccarelli's treats it like a sacred continuation of the meal. I am slowly working my way through their dessert offerings, but I keep getting derailed by the BLACK BOTTOM COCONUT CREAM PIE. I have been eating coconut cream pie for over seventy years. Seventy. I have NEVER had anything like this pie. The rich saturation of flavor... the generous texture of real coconut... the black bottom... whatever culinary sorcery is occurring back there needs to be protected by national treaty. It is so good that you could honestly justify visiting Ciccarelli's solely for dessert. Also outstanding: * Piña Colada Cream Pie * Strawberry Shortcake Torte * Napoleon * Cannoli The restaurant itself is immaculate, intimate, warm, and beautifully designed. Seating is limited, however, and deservedly so. My advice? Get there early or go on a weekday if possible. They also offer lovely outdoor seating. And finally, the family behind it all. There is something unmistakable about a place built by people who genuinely love what they do, love each other, and love the experience they are creating for others. You can feel it the moment you walk in. That kind of thing cannot be faked. Ciccarelli's is not merely a restaurant. It's one of those rare places people discover and then quietly hope doesn't become too famous because they still want to get a table. An absolute gem in Coeur d'Alene.

So I've been back a few times now and , despite there being many drinks and combos to choose from, I keep ordering the Scotchy. I'm a big root beer person, but this root beer drink has butterscotch, vanilla and cream. It's so tasty. Thing is, the first few drinks are better because you can taste the butterscotch. But after that the butterscotch flavor goes away. It needs more butterscotch is my opinion. But the vanilla and cream flavors remain throughout. They also have really yummy cookies, which I do not order with the drink: too much sugar. But if you have a hankering for a cookie, they make an excellent big chocolate chip cookie; very worth while. So if you're visiting the food trucks on Horse Haven in Post Falls and looking for a sweet treat after your meal, this place will probably have something you really like.

I thought to myself well, let's check it out and see if it's Truth and advertising. Spoiler alert, it wasn't. First thing you should know, is gross is the guy's last name that started the business. Been doing it for 47 years according to a plaque on the inside of the business. I'll tell you what, and 4700 this guy has the donut game down. First of all, this is one of the largest donut shops I've ever seen that had two separate rooms for sitting, now I don't know if they just got a restaurant that had gone out of business and turned into a donut shop or if they have that kind of volume coming in through the day. Either way it's plenty of room to sit and hang out and chat and have a couple good donuts. The counter people were nice and friendly, and explain to me the name of the shop, thankfully it was not truth and advertising. These donuts are hard and gross. These are like amazing donuts and I would have eaten a dozen of them if I did not have the self-risk paint that I possess. I had a chocolate moose filled chocolate boys donut with a chocolate milk. I'm guessing you can see that I like chocolate. This place definitely did not disappoint in that area and had some amazing, amazing ones. Thanks! So it was definitely a treat that I really enjoy trying. Bottom line? Go here and have a couple of donuts. Absolutely awesome!
