Best, best cupcakes! I visit two or so times a year and my friend and I like to try bakeries. This is the third time I've visited. Today we tried five bakeries in total. Sweet Dreams' cupcakes are far beyond the best! Her frosting is so good. I wish I could replicate it on my own cupcakes. If I lived here, this would be dangerous! I'd be there all the time. She has a small open door with a glass cabinet in front with her beautifully decorated (many flavors) cupcakes to choose from. Her baking area is behind her. This is a small shop within a bridal mall, I think. The owner is always kind, friendly, and welcoming with a smile. My favorite flavor is the orange. But I've tried many. The icing sugar on some and simple decorations make each cupcake lovely. Once home, we opened the three different boxes of cupcakes we tried. The wonderful aroma of Sweet Dream cupcakes is FAR superior to the other two bakery cupcakes. I highly recommend!! read more

Best baker ! The champagne cake is to die for and her shortbread cookies with the cream cheese frosting are the best I have had. Went to Audrey's boutique and saw the bakery sign outside of Pounders so I decided to check it out. It is off to the right of the entrance when you walk into Pounders, and when I went in all that was there to purchase was cupcakes. I got 2 vanilla, a pink champagne, and a funfetti cupcakes. We used Sweet Dreams for our wedding cake. Cake is so moist and delicious! Love the red velvet and the coconut. Also, love that they offer a free anniversary cake so we didn't have to freeze ours to eat later. As for the decor, I had brought in a picture of a birch textured cake. She ended up doing a perfect job on the technique! I am a former cake decorator, and tend to be more critical. I was very happy with the result and her pricing is not unreasonable. This little place is heaven on earth! We were driving home from the mall and needed a treat.. so glad we found this place! I found this place by accident a few years back when I needed a special cake (not a grocery store cake) Cakes are just delicious and decorated so pretty! They will pretty much make whatever flavor you want. Coconut cake with lemon filling is one of their best. Lemon cake with coconut filling is super good too! Of all the cakes we have tried loved them all except for carrot cake; it just had a weird flavor. They are a bit spendy compared to a store but it's totally worth it. Order early because they are very busy and there has been times where they were unable to make a cake for me. read more

Met with the owner of sweet dreams bakery back in February of this year for a cake tasting for my son's wedding. We were very impressed at that time as the kids loved the taste of the cake, the presentation , etc. They were excited to be able to work with them as they were told they could make a deposit to secure their date as soon as they were ready. My future daughter in law called a week or so to proceed and was told that she can't make a deposit or secure her date of February 2nd, 2019 until January, 2019. I thought maybe there was some miscommunication and so I decided to stop by the bakery myself and see if I could make the deposit and secure their date as my son and daughter in law to be live on the other side of the U.S. I proceeded to re-introduce myself to the owner and explain the situation. She informed me that she will not be accepting deposits for next years weddings until next year. I reminded her that their wedding was February 2nd and they needed to get everything secured since they will not be back here until the week before their date. She said that is how she is doing things now. I reminded her of what she told us in February and her response was "life changes" . I felt she was extremely rude, unlike our first meeting. I left with a very bitter taste and told her that I will leave the decision up to my son and daughter in law. My gut feeling is this business will no longer exist come 2019. What business does not allow you to plan ahead when in the wedding industry! Hmmm, very sad read more

Susie was really easy to work with and fast to respond to any questions or concerns we had. I had no stress over the cake because Susie took care of everything! Susie made me a birthday cake and it was wonderful. It was for a surprise party and my husband ordered it without telling me. I have an affinity for goats and she made me a goat cake. My parent's 50th anniversary was this past June. We live in Cut Bank MT, which is about 7 hours away. While we were in Spokane for medical reasons & I found an ad about the business so we stopped. We spent time looking at pics & tasting awesome cupcakes. We gave Susie some ideas & I sent her a pic of my parents original wedding cake. A friend picked up the cake & drove it over to Glacier Park for the party. It was wrapped perfectly for travel, not one mark on it. Once I unwrapped it & saw how perfect & beautiful it was I started to cry. It was perfect. I cannot recommend Susie's talent enough. I hope Spokane appreciates what they have in such a wonderful business available to them. If we lived closer I would be there a lot for cupcakes & coffee, plus I think I would beg to work for her even for free. read more
