Not a big deal I don't mind waiting a bit, especially since places like these depend on other customer delivering their truck on time. I would have appreciated some notice though because one of the employees was dropping it off from another location and they had a pretty accurate ETA. When he got there he rushed through the paper work. The individual tried to skim over the fact that I didn't have unlimited miles. He stated that budget doesn't do that for one way trips anymore even though my online reservation clearly stated it. He also told me the trailer was not there and I would have to drive to another city about 25 min away and those miles would count toward my total. I had to ask him to call the online customer service to make sure I am not going to get charged for these additional miles and to check why I don't have unlimited mileage. During the wait process and after, he also kept trying to make me buy add ons that I didn't want. He persistently kept asking after I said no multiple times. When we got everything sorted we went to the truck and it wasn't the cleanest and didn't have a full tank of gas. The whole process of waiting to pick up the truck, go through the paper work, go to another city to pick up the trailer and get home, I lost about 3 hours. It wasn't very organized, and was a bit of a head ache. If renting a moving truck in the area, go somewhere else to avoid the hassle.

Basically I assisted my mother in a rental for her moving by providing my credit card number for the initial charge, I believe was 31 dollars or so. I was then told a few days later when my Mom hadn't returned the truck yet that the rental agreement was in my name and I was responsible for it, so I was pretty confused at that point how I could rent something without being told I'm renting it, this went back and forth for a while. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told that he was the manager, when I asked to speak to the owner he refused to give me any information and said he didn't have to. When I asked to speak to Uhaul corporate (i.e. the 800 number) he said they were Uhaul corporate, I tried to confirm Uhaul on Tollgate Road, Bel Air MD is Uhaul corporate? He said yes. I think I actually talked to another service rep at one point when I called back after they hung up on me, so this was 2 separate people giving me this weird information. Anyway finally I said I'm on my way to come pick up a copy of the rental agreement because I was still confused how it could be in my name and now I'm 100% responsible for anything that might happen to the rental. They said no you can't have it. Well I went there anyway and there was a lady nice enough at the front desk to give me a copy and she said she didn't know how it works and to call the 800 number. So I did, they confirmed the rental agreement is not in my name (which also states on the paper I got from the office, it clearly shows the rental in my mother's name.) So basically if my mother did not provide another payment method they could try to charge the card on file, but if they can't charge that card ultimately she is the one responsible for the rental. Which is the whole time what I was trying to get at but was given some really weird information that had me kinda freaked out. So hopefully this is all settled, I'm still going to be in contact with the complaint department. Honestly, weirdest exchange I've ever had with any company. They flat out lied that the rental was in my name and then refused to prove that by letting me get a copy, which luckily I was able to get a copy anyway, just weird. Stay away from this place, I'm still going to look into who the owner is so they know they have psychos working for them.

Made my living from selling my Artwork. She knew this. She said to me after I called on Fri a week before to call NXT Friday and make a payment. So I called the following Friday and she said " it's too late Tim. I Auctioned it off on Wed. I broke down in tears. Went into a bad funk because the guy who bought it also got my vintage Schwinn bikes that I had for 32 years.. my original Artwork so I couldn't reproduce them and make anything off my copyrighted images! He got my flash drives containing the hi-res images, my desktop containing my images as well. My furniture my beds. My neon Automotive signs. ECT. There's a 5 year statute of limitations so I'm bringing a law suit because I've lost hundreds of thousands of income, it's taken a long time to get my business back up and running. But I'm very limited as to what I can sell because I cannot reproduce 90% of my catalog of work. Sandy refused to send me a copy of my rental agreement and hastily hung up on me!! I'm outraged. This happens all the time at this facility because she acted so pompous when talking to me "Saying, no, we're not going to have this conversation! Why can't I get the agreement? Because the Lewis's are Attorneys... Well. That doesn't deter me. I was mistreated and continue to lose tens of thousands per every 6 months. Good luck dealing with them! Don't have an issue and believe her, their b.s. cause you will be screwed like I was.

I would not give any stars if I could. I rented a cargo van for one day and paid the full price of…read more$116. Three days later I am charged another $29 for no reason. When I went to the dealer to question the charge, she phoned someone, who told her there was no record of that $29 charge. Then she told me to dispute the charge with my bank. My point is that it is not my bank's fault, and it is not my fault. UHaul obviously made the charge on my account, but they refuse to do anything to rectify the situation. I am very dissatisfied with this business. I do not recommend using them for van rentals.
