I think it was about 15 min. Fun vibe & good energy inside with neat art work! Staff is friendly. Menu has something for everyone! Mini pancakes, benny, French toast, chicken & waffles and several different toasts (think avocado or cacio e Pepe!) and smoothies. If you like specialty coffees, you are in for a treat since they have a fun option for a mini coffee flight! They also have a kids menu!

Entry is a single door with a ramp on the inside. Servers were quick to seat my friend and I. Service was polite and timely. We both ordered our own "Teenage Feast" which included Two eggs prepared to your taste, thick cut bacon, sausage, choice of toast, served with dutch mini pancakes, butter parsley home fries / salad or half & half. I opted for scrambled eggs, home fries, and rye (they also had sourdough as an option!) The meal was very filling, could definitely be shared between two peckish people or saved as left overs for later. Meal has a blend of sweet and savoury, leaning more on the sweet side. The sausage is sweeter than others (I enjoy this but I know it's not for everyone. The Dutch pancakes are so cute and little, coated in icing sugar, and served with maple syrup on the side to dip. For drinks I ordered the Maple Foam Cold Brew. Make sure to stir/not put your straw at the bottom of the drink or you'll get a hit of maple! Once it's stirred it tastes great. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu (I'm eyeing the coffee flights)!

The food is really good however, both in presentation and taste. Service wise, the staff was very friendly and polite, although there was a 20 ish minute wait for a seat for 2 and another 25 minute wait to get the food. Granted we did go on a Sunday at 11 am so it was probably the busiest time of the week and the kitchen is perhaps on the smaller side. The ambiance itself is pretty homey, street parking isn't too hard to find. They sell some near merch and also source bread locally from a bakery nearby. Their patio was closed in the winter but definitely seems like a great spot in the summer. Overall, I enjoyed the place. The lack of non pork protein options keeps me away, but should that change, I'd like to revisit the patio in the summer. Should the protein options expand and wait times be reduced on my next visit, I'll be sure to update my review!

We loved the salad and scarfed it down - super crisp, awesome textures, tangy yum. I love their pasta so much and it's fun to see how they prepare and serve it. The shrimp were super small which made eating the dish easier. The flavors were delicious and I was left with lots of extra sauce. I should have asked for a side of bread to soak it up. I had a delicious highball with root beer and fernet. Service was excellent as usual. Love the vibes and tunes. The patio is gorgeous as well. Looking forward to more. Bonus points for serving the surrounding neighborhood - very convenient, needed, reliably fresh and delicious.

Ancaster Mill located along Old Dundas Rd. near Millcreek Ct. in Hamilton is a scenic creek side…read morerestaurant in a restored mill which serves up farm to table fare. The property also does events like weddings as well. The restaurant is open for lunch, dinner, as well as a Sunday buffet brunch. They also sometimes do special holiday and chef exclusive fixed menus as well. Parking is available onsite as well as valet parking as well. I recently dined at Ancaster Mill for their Sunday buffet brunch. Price wise, the buffet is $77 per person where it is half price for children aged 5-12. You do get a time limit of 2 hours. Reservations are a must if you decide to go dine for brunch as it gets quite busy! During brunch service, our server mentioned to us that the restaurant often sees up to 400 guests come and go to dine at their brunch! The vibes of the restaurant are relaxing and tranquil, reflecting the property it is in. Upon arrival at Ancaster Mill, there are 2 parking lots you are able to park at. Once entering the restaurant, you check in with the host where you are brought to your table. Even with a reservation you may have to wait a few minutes for your table to be ready. Once we sat down, our server explained the brunch to us and mentioned that if we wanted to order any unlimited beverages such as mimosas, sparkling wine, caesars, juices, teas and coffees, we would have to let her know. In terms of the layout of the buffet, seating and the buffet stations are scattered throughout 2-3 different rooms. Food stations included: - Seafood station (freshly shucked oysters, king crab, shrimp, smoked salmon, mussels) - Carvery station (prime rib, short rib, etc., but meats may change depending on the week) - Omelette station - Crepe station (as well as pancakes! There are sweet or savoury options to create your own crepe) - Fresh pastries and baked goods (croissants, muffins, etc.) - Hot brunch food (eggs benefit, sausage, bacon, seasonal grilled vegetables, salmon/rice, potatoes, etc.) - Fried chicken and waffles - Charcuterie and meats (charcuterie meats are often freshly sliced) - Fruits and salad station - Dessert station (ice cream, pecan pie, carrot cake, brownies, apple crumble, bread pudding, etc.) The food for the Sunday buffet brunch was good! I particularly enjoyed the seafood station with the freshly shucked oysters and king crab. There was staff often shucking oysters behind the station to make sure everything was replenished. During my time there, staff also kept making sure food was being cooked and brought out - never saw an empty station! The lines for the omelette an crepe stations were never long as well. Our server often kept checking up on us and our dirty plates were cleared in record time. Overall, a great affordable Sunday brunch with lots of options available. Great place to celebrate a special occasion with family or friends!

The menu selection was limited and as expected higher priced. We inquired about the appetizers and were advised many of them were small and really not portioned for more than 1-2 people. It didn't stop us but just good for you to know. The steak frites were delicious, came with as nice crème and steak was soft and tender. The mushroom melt was a little too greasy with the added butter on the bread then aioli and cheese. The fried chicken sandwich was a hit but beware, it's very sauce and will be a mess to eat. The blueberry salad lack flavour and sounds better than it tastes. Our server and the assistants were courtesy and nice however one of my friends did request for her salad to undressed but it came out fully dressed, we didn't make a fuss but our orders were quite simple and the restaurant wasn't busy, we'd expect a regular order.

I ordered the Burger medium well with fries and a side of poutine. Wow! This might be the best Hamburger I've ever had and as a chubby dude I ate my share of burgers in my 47 years on this rock. The burger was similar to a Whopper and a Big Mac in one. Exceptional. Now on to the poutine. This was exceptional as well, the gravy in Canada is something sent from the heavens and this didn't disappoint. 5/5, 10/10 anyway you scale it this place was an amazing place.

The lady serving us was rude and I understand she may be the only one manning the tables, but it honestly was not too busy since only 4 tables taken and it was not peak hours, but the tone she kept using with us to "give her a second" was not pleasant. We ordered a BBQ chicken chop salad, the original hamont burger with fries, and two beers. Food took a while to come out. Salad was really fresh but I didn't know it came with beans, which I'm not a fan of. Burger was honestly a bit too salty and dry for me. I also tried asking for ranch for my fries but was told it's an additional $2CAD?! That's pretty expensive for someone from SoCal since sauce is usually free or at most 25 cents in LA. Parking was convenient because we were lucky and found metered parking right iufside
