According to staff, head office has said no to providing toast in lieu of buttermilk pancakes. A tad weird, like i get cant go toast up to more pancakes, but cant go from pancakes to more toast? Lol. Ive been to many Cora's around ontario and never has it been a concern / issue. Otherwise, great staff, good food. Would return and would recommend to others :) read more

Food here is terrible. We were here a few years ago and wanted to revisit. Tuna sandwich was rotten, the omelette was an insult. Will not recommend this place at all. read more

I ordered brunch for delivery via Door Dash today and couldn't be happier. Everything arrived in sustainable packaging, with some nice hand written thank you notes, and food was very fresh. I got a variety of things - coffee x 2, egg white mushroom, spinach and goat cheese omelet, side of potatoes and bacon. The fruit salad that came with the omelet was a huge portion and nice variety of strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, blueberries, grapes, tangerines, banana and melon. Cora's is a Canadian Treasurer. 21 locations in the GTA, and a hundred more throughout Canada. It's amazing breakfast food. During our brief 5 day stay in Hamilton, ON, we went three times. Great breakfast, reasonable price, and wonderfully friendly service. On our last visit this morning before flying back home I went for it and had the Gargantuan Breakfast. It was plenty for the entire day! Lots of meat and a wonderful blue berry pancake finisher. Really really great breakfast! read more

I've always loved Cora's due to healthy fruit always available and breakfast is a favorite meal - like later in day ie 1 pm!! My husband and I impressed with attention to small details and love the friendly servers and the banter we get into ... love the more private booths and quieter instrumental music often playing!! The ambience it creates makes so much difference - I know that's a personal thing but I can't stand going to restaurants of any kind that play loud music - In fact once I experience that, I generally do not return to them- it's so annoying and difficult to have a meaningful, pleasant conversation over it !! Breakfast at Cora's is always a pleasure! Today was no exception. Great ambiance, friendly and courteous waitstaff, but most of all, the food is always fresh and beyond amazing! Today, my pick was the Cora's Special; 2 eggs (over medium), bacon, ham (substituted with Canadian pea meal bacon at no extra charge), a sausage, a pancake and roasted potatoes served with my choice of rye toast, fruit for garnish, and of course bottomless coffee. There was more food that I can eat. Everything on my plate was prepared to perfection and I was absolutely delighted. Go check it out, but don't dilly dally because they're only open till 3pm. Honestly it's way over priced. The last time I came here was with my mom and good friend. My friend is a member of the military and felt very out of place in uniform. I understand that when you're in head to toe combat gear people will turn their heads but having respect for someone's privacy is always important. The food was alright, there was a 40 min wait for a table and we had called ahead to reserve one. The fruit wasn't very fresh and the service was slow. This is our breakfast place to go. My wife and I go there about 3 times a week, plus I go once a week with a couple of friends, for the Early Bird breakfast. Great food at reasonable prices. Their new Early Bird menu has about 3 times the selection now and the food and service are generally excellent. One suggestion to the management: please do not use process cheese slices but real cheese in your food items - it makes a big difference. read more

Don't waste your time, the service is beyond terrible. On March 18 2018 I went to Cora at 1245 pm. We waited 15 minutes for a table, not a problem you should never eat at an empty restaurant. We got a table at one PM. we placed an order for orange juice and a smoothie and two breakfasts. The drinks took 15 minutes to come. At 145 pm we still had not one bite of food to eat. I asked for the manager, she didn't bother to come over so we left after leaving $10 for the OJ and smoothie. The staff are at best apathetic. Go someplace else (anywhere) if you actually want to eat food. read more

I went to Cora's with my family on Sunday on St. Patrick's day. There were 5 of us and a couple of groups waiting in front of us. You have to expect a wait no matter where you go to breakfast on a weekend. The staff was quick and people flowed through and we were seated in 15 minutes. A side note the group of 8 behind us was a bunch people in their 20's they checked in and immediately went on their phones trying to find another place to go. They waited maybe 5 minutes and left. They didn't tell the staff and I could see the staff working on setting up a big table so I told them they were gone. A simple courtesy would be to use your words and not your thumbs and speak. As far as the food goes everything was delicious and presented beautifully. The waitress was delightful and kept the coffee coming. The only down side for me is the parking lot that competes with other businesses. With a full house the restaurant would fill the parking area itself. read more

I couldn't believe that this is a chain! The food is varied and everything is so fresh. One of my breakfasts came with 8 different types of perfectly ripe fresh fruit! The staff is exceptional. When we went back for the second time two days later, they remembered us and sat us at the same table. Highly recommend!! read more

I had the hot chicken sandwich on the lunch menu. It was not good. I think the potatoes are from a can, that is how they tasted. There was very little chicken between two slices of white bread and gravy over this. The peas were frozen and the meal was so tasteless, I loaded on the salt and it still did not help! My food was cold a quarter of the way through eating it. Never again! The soup was not hot, but it was very good. read more

I have eaten at this restaurant three times so far. The last two times that I have eaten at this restaurant there has been a hair in one of our plates. The most recent time that this occurred, I told the waiter. He said that this has not happened to him yet this year. I found it very odd that he would say something like that. Then he said he will talk to the manager. The manager said that he will not charge us for that one plate that had the hair. I was very disappointed that the manager could not come over to the table and apologize for this. I would have told him that this is the second time in a row that we had a hair in the food. They definitely need to get hats for the cooks that cover all of their hair and not just a part of the top of their hair. We all like eating at coras, but no one likes a hair in their food. We have never had this situation happen at any of the other Coras restaurants. We will not be eating at this location anymore. read more
