Called Stagecoach Plumbing and talked to the new owner, Jake. He was able to come over and install a new shower knob that we accidently tiled over. Where to begin, showed up a day late to change out a water heater that was quoted 1850 to do Job then before they came went to sign for work I noticed additional 230 for labor. Not today got it back to $1850. Two guys show up about 9am for a job that normally takes one guy about 2 hrs. Let me say the guys were very professional and respectful! They get old WH out then wait for owner to come with no WH picks up one guy to drive from Lodi to Stockton for new WH. Fast Fwd get done about 12:30- 1. How is this guys in bussiness. That 8 hrs of manpower. In photo you will notice existing straps the one at bottom should of been moved 4 in above control valve, next @ the drip leg the flex line should of went into the Tee Vertical, moving on @ the T&P relief valve the copper line is back grading, and finally no pipe insulation on hot flex line. I've been a Plumber for 28 yrs but selling house and didn't have the time. Oh they were nice enough to write "Stagecouch Pluming" with date on WH. As a plumber we're not spelling champions but geesh at least spell company name right and Damm sure spell Plumb-ing right. The first word is what we should know very well! SMH I will say again I gave a star because the two gentleman that did the work were very professional and respectful. The T&P backgrade is prolly the biggest issue as if any condensation builds up it won't flow out but sit against relief valve and corrode possibly causeing it to stick if temperature or pressure got to high. It needs to be relieved through that valve. If it don't open we got a 200lb Rocket going through the roof. The price for WH plus hardware is roughly $850. That's a $1000 bill for labor then tried to add additional $230 for labor, guess 1K wasn't enough. ‍‍ read more

Had my shower snaked by them. They were able to respond that same day and unclogged it no problem, but they completely stripped the screws out on my drain cover which is very sloppy. It went unnoticed until I went to try to fix another clog 2 months later, and can't do so because I can't get the cover off. I called again for them to fix it but was told I'd have to wait a few days and am inconvenienced because of their mistake. Now I'm stuck with a clogged shower that I can't get to, because they don't feel that it's a priory to fix the damage they've done. They were initially responsive for a paid job, but unfortunately did sloppy work and don't prioritize coming back out to fix their mistakes. We'll be looking for another plumbing company to use and recommend to clients in the area if anyone has any suggestions. read more

Our pilot light went out and we could not get it to light. Called Stagecoach, Will came out did light it and also drained our tank. We felt it was a very resonable price. Would we call them again? Absolutely! read more

Just the best! If you need a plumber who is thoughtful, fast, and a problem solver, these are the guys! Fast, friendly, explain everything so even I understand. They arrive in about an hour after your call, which is much faster then others plumbers. Always answer the phone, always polite, clean, not cheep, just the best. We had a main line leak and called stagecoach to come out to repair it. They came out then had to go to Lowe's for supplies and the plumber was gone for over an hour and we got charged for the labor while he was at Lowe's. Lowes is about 10 minutes away from us and he was getting basic supplies like PVC pipe, glue and tape it shouldn't have taken him that long at Lowe's but we were still charged for it. We called to ask about the labor charges and they were very rude. This guy was milking the clock for extra labor time. Don't use these guys read more

Will came out and did the requested work. No issues..... My issue was/is 1.5 hours labor = $142.50. Yes, I know there is travel time, but, he mentioned his next job was just down the road. Should travel time be reduced somewhat? Is that next customer also going to be charged travel time from their shop in Lodi or from my house just down the road? Buyer beware. Recently had Stagecoach clean out a 2'" bathroom drain line IN STOCKTON at a rental property. Total cost: $143.50!!!!! Their explanation--$98.50 for a 2" clean-out AND a half hour travel time to Stockton, another $45. This was never mentioned when I called; $45 to travel from Lodi is a rip-off; $98.50 for 30 minutes to run a 2" line is way over the top. When I complained, I did receive a full explanation about costs, but those costs should have been explained UP FRONT; not after they cashed my check. The owner spoke of integrity. Clearly that's their perspective. I saw no integrity; just another plumbing business ripping of the customer with fees not mentioned! I should have asked cost up front, but I never imagined that I would be overcharged as they were recommended by a general contractor. Even he was surprised and thought the charge way over the top. So buyer beware; watch Stagecoach for costs. Guess it's back to Roto-Rooter!!!! read more

You won't be sorry if you call Stagecoach Plumbing. I called Stagecoach Plumbing when I needed some work done on the bathrooms of my Mothers older home in the Morada area. I couldn't believe it, owner Greg and employee Will, who are very kind and friendly, came to check it out the same day I called. I was amazed being I'm not used to having such good prompt service. You can tell they are extremely experienced and know what they're doing. It didn't take long to see the shower valve in the bathroom that wasn't used much needed repair. They knew exactly what parts they needed just by looking at it, I was impressed. In the master bath, I was removing wallpaper to paint, they had to change all the shut-off valves or as I learned, they are called angle stops. They are knowledgeable, courteous, neat and quick. They're workmanship is excellent! They don't waste time. I was so happy with their work, I ended up having them do several more things on the bathroom and will not hesitate to call again when need be. They're pricing is fair, they may not be the least expensive but when you consider their workmanship, punctuality and service it makes up for the difference many times over! read more
