The last time I visited, they had just started selling ice cream and had already switched milk suppliers. They've really done a nice job transforming the place from a vegetable stand into a spot that now serves breakfast, lunch, and ice cream. The menu has a wide selection of breakfast and lunch items, but on this visit, we were here for the good stuff--the homemade ice cream. They also sell a few baked goods from other vendors as well as homemade dog treats. Ordering is done inside, and then you can head outside to sit at the picnic tables while they bring your order out. It's a great setup, especially for families, with multiple swing sets and areas for kids to play. 08/16/25 My wife ordered the Peanut Butter Overload and I went with the Salted Caramel Crunch. We each just got one scoop, which turned out to be the perfect size--just enough to enjoy without being too much. Both flavors were excellent, and we'll definitely be coming back soon to try more.

Also, I wish they had indoor seating but it's too small inside. But the latte was really good too-basically an iced caramel macchiato but I think they call it the Bessie or Betty. Something like that. The sandwich had ham, turkey, cheese, bacon, and I asked for mayo instead of honey mustard. It's supposed to come with avocado but it didn't. Unless that's what the weird yellow/green sauce on it was supposed to be. I thought they forgot to leave off the honey mustard. But the sandwich was still amazing. The staff were super nice. The Amish people selling their produce were kind as well. Plenty of seating outside. I would come here again for the latte and a sandwich any day of the week.

Great little shop in Leonardtown! On New Year's Eve, my sister-in-law took all the girls to…read moreLeonardtown to do some walking and window shopping while the boys went golfing. She brought us to Heritage Chocolates which is located in an old house. It's super cute inside with the left half as an open kitchen. You get to see all the yummy things they are cooking up! They have a large room at the front of the house with a velvet couch with the chocolates and candies displayed on bookshelves. You'll find more in the hallway and they also have a selection of handmade gelato in the back. We picked up some chocolate covered strawberries that were being made for NYE, chocolate covered pretzels and a chocolate covered apple. The gal who took care of us included an extra chocolate covered strawberry because she felt that a couple of the strawberries was on the smaller side. I thought that was so sweet! All items purchased didn't last long. We had 8 people in the house, so you can imagine the speed of distribution and consumption. The strawberries were definitely a hit and great little treat to end the year on a sweet note! Stay safe, Friends!

The place had ample…read moreselection of chocolate covered oreos and fruits and nuts, as well as boxed assortments, a ton of Easter bags, and gelato. I wasn't expecting the gelato, but it looked good so I gave it a shot. And I must say, the mint chip, which actually didn't look as appealing as the other flavors in the display, was quite impressive. There were a ton of fine chocolate scrapings inside that gave a slightly bitter contrast to the sweet and aromatic mint. The other flavor I tried was strawberry, which was forgettable by comparison. I did get a chocolate box sampler. The ones I've tried have been good, though I'm a bit peeved it isn't labeled. This place did not seem to be one that offered a ton for the dairy-free crowd or the allergen crowd, so figure there's a lot of dairy and nuts going on here. But if you eat those things, you'll be satisfied.

First, a fair warning to visitors - if you do not know Spanish you will likely feel a bit lost and…read moreout of place. A lot of the signage was in Spanish and so was the language people spoke. I know enough Spanish to speak to a 4 year old, so I was way out of my league! I noticed upon arrival that they have some baked good, grocery goods, and apparently hot dishes given there were a few tables where people were actively eating. I just kind of strolled around for a minute looking lost. There is no one readily available to help people like me with the deer-in-headlights look. I had hoped to try an empanadas but it seemed intimidating so I strolled over to the shelves where there were various breads, pastries and cookies. I was still a bit lost because I first saw people with trays and grabbing breads but I thought they might be employees. But after wandering in another circle I noticed a lady grabbing a tray and tongs. I then saw the little sign that said to use the trays and tongs for the baked goods. I then followed the lady and managed to grab a few items. I had hoped for some cupcakes or donuts but saw neither. I did however get a cheese danish, a couple of cookies and a couple of breads. The items I got were pretty good and the bread was fairly soft. I certainly wasn't disappointed in any of the items I grabbed, I only wished there were a few other sweet items and a better system to better understand how best to navigate the store. But all things considered, the baked goods were good enough that I may very well be back to sample other items.
