I told my husband let me look in lewisville where I purchased my car 2yrs ago and as fate would have it Five Star popped up. We reviewed their inventory and called that day - GOD is so good because we spoke with Rohit Patel who was BEYOND GREATNESS. From that evening until that morning, we spoke about 5x. He sent us videos of the vehicle and answered every question we had, then called and gave us more info. We made an appt to go see him that very next morning. When we got there, he had 3 vehicles for us to look at near the door. We got the 2026 fully loaded Texas Ranch and to say the least, it is LOVELY and beyond!!. We then went to finance and spoke with Malcolm or Brother Malcolm as I called him. He was sooooo entertaining, quick and knowledgeable. We laughed so much and loud, I thought they would come and kick us out, but they didn't!!! We then met with the products guy, whose name I didn't get, but he was EXTREMELY Nice and very honest about the item we are considering. Rohit then walked us back to service so we would know exactly where to go for service - I picked up a couple of cookies and they were delicious. There was another couple I met that was purchasing the exact same vehicle - we talked, laughed and had a good time at Five Star...All I know is IF YOU ARE SMART and want to be treated like ROYALTY, go to FIVE STAR, they will not fail you. Rohit and Brother Malcolm, thank you both sooooo much for all you did for us and meeting our expectations. When I meet people that need a vehicle, I will definitely point them in your direction and when I'm in the area, BEST BELIEVE, I will stop in to say Hello... The owner told me specifically that if I keep current on my payments, I will always have a vehicle to drive. I've had some mechanical issues here and there, and they have always been very accommodating to repair and help me work out payment options. They even helped me fix a car that I didn't buy from them because they value good customers. If you're in a situation where a finance company will not touch you, these guys should be your first and only option.

Unacceptable…read more It is also It is completely unacceptable that MINI USA allows its dealerships to refuse service for vehicles over 10 years old. MINIs are built to last, and many owners take pride in maintaining their cars well beyond that mark. To be turned away simply because of the age of the car -- at an authorized dealership -- shows a lack of commitment to loyal customers and the brand's community. A car's age should not disqualify it from proper service, especially when MINI promotes durability and long-term ownership. MINI USA needs to take responsibility for this policy and ensure that all MINI owners -- regardless of model year -- can count on the dealership network for support.

They told me there had been one previous owner, that was true. They told me it was a commuter vehicle, explicitly claiming it was not a work truck. The first time time I washed it, a business logo appeared on the back windows. It can only be seen in certain light, with a thin layer of moisture applied. But, it does seem like it was, in fact, a work truck. Next up, come time around a year after purchase. Paint on hood, bumper and above wheels faded. The paint does not appear to be original on these parts. Lost their shine. I would speculate they aren't even the original parts. I do not know the details, but reviewing the carfax I see the vehicle was partially rebuilt just before the ownership transferred from the original owner to Charlton. But they did not mention that. Did they not know? Or did they just lie to me?. I guess when the dealer tells you something to your face, you have to check the carfax and not trust what they tell you. But I did not know that. I was young and naive (still am maybe). Thirdly, the salesman mentioned he had been driving the vehicle personally prior to the sale. I would rather not know that the salesmen drive around in the vehicles until they are sold. That kind of taints the experience, eh? Fourthly, when going over financials, the salesman asked how I made my money and complimented my salary. Next, he bragged that he, in fact, made more money than I did. Well, good for him. Not quite so professional, huh?

Had to return to get my vehicle inspected as they could not do it at sale time as the vehicle had an issue they did not fix. When using their finance they will tell you 2 hard hits which became 3 hard hits to the credit report after I was clear I would not accept more than 2. Response: Thats what happens. Did not complete the work they were supposed to do and agreed to do. The vehicle had a check engine light at purchase time, they replaced an O2 Sensor and said it was fixed. 19 miles later the light came back on. In a txt message they replied "Looks like we will have to replace the catalytic converter" They knew it was bad and tried to get away with it. I returned the vehicle and they sent it to the Manufacturer dealership for repair under factory warranty. A review of the Huffines Dealership will be separate from this one as Huffines was horribly slow. They were supposed to replace the trailer wiring that had been cut and install a replacement wiring harness for a 4 prong trailer connector. The sales guy said Yes it is right under here. Went to hook up my trailer and got under to find it.. Not there.. I just ordered myself a 7 to 4 adapter so as not to go back to this place. Not a big deal but why lie about it. What else did they lie about I wonder. During the time my new vehicle was in the dealership Charlton provided a loaner car. This car smelled of cigarette smoke so bad I could not sit in it. They did not have another and asked me to Febreeze the car. Seriously I can show you the txt message on this. So that sat outside not being used as the stench was horrendous. Maybe this was a horrid sales guy, maybe a one off occurrence but frankly I would say to go somewhere else when looking based on my experience.
