The Stanley Steemer crew leader - Martin worked diligently to perform the service as expected. One of our bedrooms looked like we would need to replace the carpet until Martin completely amazed when he restored it back to a new appearance. I also had them scrub and steam clean a walk in ceramic tile shower. Good job guys! I have also used this location for our area rugs. I just roll them up and drop them off. This was the WORST experience. I spent thousands of dollars for them to stain my couch and ruin 2 of my area rugs. They rushed through, I asked if each of my area rugs would be okay and they said no problem. They stripped the gray color off of one and changed the whole rug to tan. They stained my couch all along the full arm seam. They wrecked another area rug and turned it a light yellow. I have been kind and went through all the proper protocol with customer service and they still have no resolution or update when I will have to replace these 2 expensive area rugs in the bedrooms. I have called them several times today with no answers. Do not do business with them unless you want your furniture and rugs ruined. I have used Stanley Steemer in the past and they have been pretty good. This time I needed them to clean a 10X12 rug that has significant dog-created stains. Two guys came to my house and told me that to clean the rug where it sits (and not take it away for cleaning) would cost $850. I was shocked. I barely paid that much for the rug itself. When I protested, they said they'd give me a $200 discount for a price of $650. That price is still way too high, and the fact that they were willing to drop the price like that tells me that they knew the first price was too high right out of the gate. I can't believe that a company like Stanley Steemer sends out workers who try to rip off customers like this. I am done with Stanley Steemer and will find a more reasonable rug cleaner. read more

I called Stanley Steemer for help in installing a dryer vent cover on the outside of my second-floor condo. They were flexible in scheduling a timeslot for a technician to come and help. When they did arrive, they communicated professionally and did an amazing job installing the vent cover, which was a tedious/risky task. Been using Stanly Steamer for over 20 years and each time they come. From carpet shampoo, rug cleaning, shampoo the car. Their technicians have been good about asking questions, explaining about each stain, and their process. We had water damage from the building before moving. Water leaked from the ceiling and stained the corner of the bedroom frame boards. Just 2 boards. The first technician who came out said he was going to take them back. After letting him know what happened. We get it delivered back to us almost two weeks later, after following up with them. It was treated as wine stains. (See pictures) we called the customer service to have them come back. A week later the second technician, comes out. We told him that there were water stains and it was treated as wine stains from the notes on the tag. He went into a little more detail about the stains. He tried to treat it, but couldn't do it. We had to call the customer service again. Finally the manager calls to say he's going to have a third technician pick it up and he'll check out to clean it. A third technician came back and picked them up. Cleaned it better but you can still see the stains lightly. The whole time the manager (Manny) never apologized for the inconvenience in the back and forth. When we talked to Manny about this issue his response was "I cleaned it. What do you want me to be sorry about?" Even explaining that having this take a long time. Our lower back is started to hurt from sleeping on just mattress without support we needed to go to acupuncture. So let's get this cleaned up and delivered quicker. His response was just a laugh. The floor now is BETTER than it was when the building was new. The grout paint color is EXCELLENT & a great match. Ray (another manager) even stopped by the day of the work and was friendly & helpful with making sure the grout color chosen would work well. We called on a Friday to get a consult & Shawn was out 2 days later on Monday, for the consult & quote. He was flexible with our scheduling. Manny the person I was suppose to speak to regarding my rug was so rude and blaming me that my rug was already damaged. And what he said to me was "like I tell all my customers we are not responsible for any damage on the rugs". Stanley Steamer does not steam clean near the edges of the carpet against the baseboard. All the dirt build up gets balled up against the baseboards. They do not vaccuum ahead of time. So if you want a clean carpet look around Their prices are $$$ And they don't detail. I called the company back because of the warranty. The tech was polite, our problem was carpet debris, bugs, hair and trash was left at the bottom of the baseboard throughout the house. When that person arrived, he advised that it would cost twice as much to use the portable cleaning unit. I would never agree to pay twice as much. Please ignore the below review - a company called STAINLESS STEEMEER falsely identified themselves as Stanley Steemer. Be careful if you use Google to search the calling number for Stanley Steemer, and please don't make the same mistake I did. I had Stanley Steemer come out last week to give me an estimate on cleaning my air ducts. After calling them they quoted me $199 for the first 9 ducts, $25 for additional ducts. I thought this was a very good price being I had a technician from another air duct cleaning service come out the day before and was quoted $1600. Two technicians from Stanley Sreemer arrived, good thing my wife speaks Spanish, both techs spoke very little English. They went into my attic, were up there for about 5 minutes. They came down and said I got a problem. The lead tech tells my wife I have 2 tears in 2 separate ducts lines. He shows her 2 pictures he took while in the attic of the tears. I asked how could that happen? The tech said probably when the furnace was installed. I told him the furnace was installed in 2008, and I've had no problems since then. I asked how much to repair, he said repair can't be done, 2 new ducts lines need to be replaced. I asked how much, $3500. I almost went through the ceiling. I told him I was going to contact the contractor who installed the ducting to get his opinion. After going back and forth, the tech said ok I'll do it for $2500. I told him no, and he abruptly left my home. I had a business card from the air duct cleaning service tech who came out the day before. I called the tech and asked him when he was in my attic, did he see any tears. He said there was no tears that he could see. About 2 minutes later I get a call from a Stanley Steemer customer service rep. She says I understand you have a problem, we are willing to repair it for $3000. I told her I'm very suspicious of these techs, as I had another company out here the day before and they saw no tears in the ducts. She stated "maybe he didn't know what he was doing". I told her I was going to speak to my contractor to get his opinion, and if he tells me these tears were intentionally made, I will sue Stanley Steemer, she hung up on me. I contacted my contractor who installed the ducts, showed him the pictures, and he said it looks very suspicious. He said generally you don't get tears like this. My contractor is sending an AC guy out to look and make his determination. I asked my contractor if this can be repaired without being replaced. He said aluminum tape can be used, let's wait to see what the AC guy says. Needless to say, I will never use Stainless Steemer again, for anything. read more

I had my 9 by12 rugged cleaned and I swear they must have rolled it up and forgot to clean it not once but twice. I initially called to have the rug cleaned professionally because my female dog started peeing on it when it rained. The first time it was brought back it was unrolled and I swear it looked just like it had when it was picked up the first time. I called to complain and they said it was within the time frame to have it re-cleaned. This time they asked if I wanted it deodorized it would cost another $70. so I agreed to pay the extra money of course that was the main reason for having it cleaned. They came picked it up again and brought it back smelling exactly the same, worse even, it was only laid out one day when I had it rolled back up and taken outside. My sister in law lives in Rialto and she would have Stanley Steemer come out twice a year to clean her carpet and tile floors and they have looked new for all these years that's the only reason I went with this company. So beware when using any franchise service. This $200 rug ended up costing me over $500 just because I loved this rug. What a waste! read more

We needed to have our furniture and carpets steam cleaned. I could have done it myself with a Rug Doctor, but whenever we rent one of those, it just never gets the job done right. Plus, you never know what was sucked up with the machine and who knows if and when they are ever cleaned or disinfected. During COVID, we wanted to let a company who claims to disinfect all their equipment do the cleaning. When the guys came over, they were very professional, had PPE on and got straight to work. We had our sofa, loveseat, chair and dining rooms chairs (6) cleaned as well as the carpet in 4 bedrooms. While some of the stains didn't come out (we waited 2 years to do the first cleaning), it was a big improvement. We opted for the 3 additional cleanings over one year (we're going to do it quarterly and close to the holidays) which turned out to be a relative bargain when you amortize it over the course of year. The noise of the truck mounted equipment is loud and the carpets need time to dry, but once it's done, it looks great. read more

I knew it would be a difficult assignment because the layers of wax were turning brown--It was supposed to be a one day (all day) job--it turned out to be 3 full 11 hour days with many crew members working very hard--committed to getting most if not all of the wax off the floors which covered the entire home space. I mentioned that my cat had a flea and was on flea meds. They guy said he had to call his manager. About 10 minutes later he told me that he couldn't clean my carpets and he left. I'd spent all morning preparing for the cleaning so I was angry. I called the dispatcher and he told me that he was sending over another crew and they would "test" my carpet for fleas then do the cleaning. So I waited another hour and the new crew showed up, and after a call with the manager they also told me they wouldn't clean my carpets! The guy had no idea what was meant by "testing" my carpet. But it gets better. I realized shortly afterwards that the last guy left his iPad in my apartment. So I called and told him, and then more waiting for him to come back and get it. I just had Stanley Steemer clean my tile and grout in 3 rooms. I would NOT recommend ever using this company for this type of cleaning. Very disappointing. My expectation was that my tile floors would be sparkling clean, and that the grout would be lighter. Besides the floor being wet, my floors didn't look any different after having them cleaned. After the technician was completed, I took him back into all the rooms and pointed out the dirt and hair that was in the corners and along the base board. He took a mop and tried to clean it, but as you can see by the pictures, the floors were still dirty. There was no visible change in the grout discoloration. I wish I had never called them.
