I guess I don't know what it really means to clean air ducts. They set up their equipment. Did not remove the vents, guess they don't. Snaked a line through the vents for 20 minutes (maybe) and that was it. Didn't take much care in making sure they didn't scratch my woods floors with metal couplings attached to the lines. Debris all over the floors from the vents. Fortunately, I covered most of my furniture with plastic. Had to wipe down the kitchen counters as well. They did a half a%* job of vacuuming. I spent about 20 minutes vacuuming after they left. I own a second condo, same thing. Will never use them again. read more

Stanley Steemer does not have great reviews on yelp and some services, but that was not our experience. We use them for an emergency dog situation in January and they did an exceptional job. This time, we had several rooms scheduled to be cleaned on frankly old carpet. The First technician came within the assigned window and spent several hours working on the carpets. Jacob was polite, professional, and we felt a hard worker. Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with two of the 6 areas. I called Stanley Steemer the next day and they could not be more receptive. This time they sent Dagoberto, who had done an exceptional job several months ago for us in an emergency situation. Dagoberto came in and did an excellent job on the two areas to our satisfaction. They're not perfect, but I don't think they could've been cleaned any better. We are very satisfied with the end result. We would not hesitate to use him again. read more

Unfortunately, I can't recommend. There were two guys, one was a younger guy and he was really nice. I felt comfortable and he seems great. The other guy I'm not sure about. He guided me on not steam cleaning a 1950s chair which I appreciate. However, they did my mattress and it's been almost two weeks and it's still not dry and no one has contacted me back on this issue nor have they sent the receipt I've requested. I didn't see all the negative reviews but if I had I would have passed. They are incredibly expensive and they did a mediocre job at best. DO NOT USE Stanley Steemer services!!!!!!!! I should have read the reviews on here before hiring them for service. They are the most dishonest people I have every worked with!! They quoted me a job to clean all my bedrooms with closets. However, they came cleaned only 3 of my bedrooms and none of the closets. I had to call them to come back and clean the remaining bedroom. When they came back, they require me to pay extra for the closets......even though I had already told them in my initial quote/request. I had to pay them so that I can get the job done. But I'm NEVER going to use them again!!!!!!!! Each time they schedule you, they give you a 6-hour window. They promised me multiple stains would come out, but not only did the stains remain, my rug now smells like absolutely nothing--even though I paid extra for deodorizer. Fabricio did an amazing job cleaning my oversized sectional sofa. He went above and beyond and was also super friendly, efficient, and got the job done in under an hour. When finished, he told me that the main cleaning involved removing dust and pet hair (yep and yep!), which I appreciated. My sofa looks like it did day 1 and it smells great. We left the sofa to dry overnight so I can't comment on how long it actually takes (we were told ~4 hours). By morning, everything was usable except for 1 of our throw pillows that was still damp. Logistics: he arrived within the window I made the reservation for, I received an email stating he was on his way in addition to a link with a tracker, and the price was acceptable and worth it (you're also told the price upon booking so there are no surprises). One thing to note is that they'll need to use your water. No big deal for me, but we had a couple days of freezing temperatures and I was concerned that 1) my hose bib wouldn't work because of a frozen pipe, or 2) it would freeze over after being used. So far, all seems good but for future reference, I'll keep in mind that I shouldn't schedule service during our ice/snow week! read more

I had wood, tile and carpet cleaned. They also polished the wood. After leaving and it dried I saw marks all over my wood floor. I called them back out to make it match.. the tech that originally did it came out, he said my wood floors need refinished. I said they did not have these marks before you did the floors. He called his boss, took photos and said they will take care of it. He could not make it match. He then left with no resolution. I have heard nothing back from the company! -Worth the read if your thinking about using them- We bought a new home that had a bunch of dogs previously living in that needed cleaning, beautiful home but my wife is allergic to dogs so we needed to get as much of the dogs out as possible. I Had Stanley Steamer lined up to clean the ducts, and then come clean my carpet, hardwoods and furniture(furniture came with house). They came out to do the ducts first, and forgot to cover the vents in our master bedroom and master closet which caused them to blow huge clouds of filthy dust and dirt into our bedroom & closet (where I have a pregnant wife whose allergic to dogs, and mold living). When I say clouds, I mean the whole room was filled with dust and dirt to the point where I could hardly see the other side of the room! They proceeded to tell me that's completely normal and did very little to clean up the huge mess. They just lightly vacuumed up about 5 feet directly below the vents. This left our bed, and all our clothes covered with a visible layer of filth. I reached out to the company through their internal message app asking how they did, and explained my situation and poor experience. Their web app assured me they would get back to me immediately, but I never heard anything until they realized they had more work left at my house(a week later, and after days of cleaning up their mess). I had to thoroughly clean immediately so my wife would be able to live in her home due to the poor work they had previously done, and all the filth and allergens they had completely covered our living space and clothing with. The master bedroom and closet wasn't the only place they forgot to cover the vents, just the biggest problem. The huge mess isn't my only complaint. I watched them clean about 5-10 foot into each of my ducts, and then walk off. Some of these ducts are up to 50 foot long so the cleaning wasn't very thorough either. I Never got a phone call about the poor service, or even a message back. Now a week later they are expecting me to let them in my home again, but I'd prefer not to see what kind of damage they could do to my furniture and hardwoods. AMAZING SERVICE!! I could not be more impressed ! Kemari and Logan were great. They showed up on time and talked me through what they were going to do. I got my couch cleaned after it was sitting in storage and moved around, it came out better then expected. They even got a stain out that had been there for over a year! A manger stopped by to check on how they were doing and even pitched in to help. They even put on protective shields on the corners of the walls and a protective door sleeve, and they carried in the hoses so outside dirt wouldn't get tracked in. Finally, I got a text at 4:22 telling me that Eugene would be arriving soon. They provided a link to track the location of the van. I followed the link and saw that he was a few blocks away. I went outside to make sure that he had a place to park and to show him which unit that I was in. No one showed up. Later, I got a text telling me that he was here, but no one answered the door. He never came to my residence. They then cancelled my appointment and stated "let us know when your are available." I think that their driver went to the wrong address. No one ever called. I was very unhappy as I had moved furniture, waited all afternoon and got a no show! Poor communication. I hate that Costco recommends them. Unfortunately, I was VERY disappointed with this business. First I got the online bid of $319.00 to clean and seal 550 square feet of tile. When they came to do the work they gave my son a invoice for $847.60!!! I talked to Chris, the manager, and he gave us $147.22 back. He was nice but I was still upset about the cost difference. I was over at the house about a week after the service and the grout didn't look any different, not clean at all. I once again called and spoke to Jeremy, who was very nice, and said they want their customers to be happy so he'd have another technician meet me at the house to discuss it. Israel was the technician and he was wonderful but explained that to have the grout cleaned would cost a lot more money. No way was I spending any more money!! He explained that the seal I paid for, clear seal, doesn't clean the grout. I guess it just seals the stained grout. Who in the world would want that??? What a scam! I was quoted around $300, the person who schedules said that they would have a better idea once on sight.. That turned into $1,600.00!!! I will say that I added tile cleaning on that was on sale through the website for $37.00. They sell you on a Package Deal that saves you thousands over the year. You get 4 FREE cleanings a year, with 2 dogs and a cat I thought that's a great idea! All that you need to do is call and set it up. I've called, emailed, sent smoke signals (not really on the smoke signals). I left a review on a form they sent me, I said that the carpets smelled after they left, the lady who called me back said she would send another team out to clean again at not charge.. Terrible Customer Service and no accountability within management/schedulers. I reached out to Stanley Steemer for the medical practice I work at and was very displeased with coordination of services and completion of cleaning. The entire process was a headache with nonstop back and forth. This was already problematic from the start after Shane completed a minimal walkthrough with our main concerns of being within a hospital on the 10th floor ignored and assured it would not be an issue. However apparently IT WAS an issue. The crew called upon arrival stating their van was unable to get in the garage due to the overhead limit and unable to find parking- Shane failed to look into this or notate to his team. This gets rescheduled after speaking with higher ups stating they have a plan in place for an alternate truck. Parking seemed to have finally been addressed but once in suite, was unable to use proper equipment due to the lack of janitorial closet within our suite. This 100% should have been checked during the walkthrough!! Emmanual and his team were very professional and coordinated with the janitorial team to find alternate options to no avail. Needless to say, the completion of the cleaning and granite tiles were less than expected as there was not proper water hook ups (again, should have been known during walkthrough). The team also left without properly replacing the breakroom/kitchen sink they used for water connections. Due to many inconveniences and delays, you'd think they'd be more understanding or apologetic but they simply don't care. This is the second time that we've had the first crew come in and say they can not clean our wood floors because of wax buildup but we've never used wax on the floors. We use only hot water and the occasional flour cleaner for tough spots. Stanley Steemer is the ONLY company that has cleaned our floors since we've owned the house and the second crew they sent out told us the first crew was mistaken and he cleaned the floors without a problem. It took my parents a couple days to get everything moved into their garage & laundry room to be ready for the service to take place today (11/17/21) When the technician showed up this morning, my parents were told they were misquoted & the service requested was going to be $900. My booster club hired this company to come out to steam clean our cheer mats after we had a pie incident at a pep rally. The guys came out and cleaned the mats and told us they had gotten the smell out with their deodorizer. We let them dry and checked them two days later. They actually smelled no different then when the Stanley guys first came in. We called them back and asked them to re-clean them. They told us it would be another $177. I find it a bit ridiculous we had to pay again for a job not well done. I got a call for round two telling me they had sent out two guys. It was 11:45 when they called. I had requested they come out at 1pm since our cheer class is during 1-2:30 and I would be able to have my athletes help roll out the mats for the guys. I called Stanley steamer and told them we needed the guys to come out at 1pm as scheduled. The lady said she couldn't do that. She said she could bump me back to 2:30 or 4pm. At 2:30 school lets out and their truck would be blocking the drive lane where parents pick up their kids. At 4pm school has been over for over an hour and a half and lets be honest, I dont want to just hang out at school on a friday waiting for a carpet cleaning crew. Its incredibly annoying that Stanley steamer inconvenienced us especially when we were assured a specific time. Avoid this company. The two gentlemen that came out to my house today Fabricio and Israel, they were wonderful! They were very professional yet they were very kind and understanding and helpful. I signed up for an 18-month contract that I don't have to pay anything for for the next three visits and I was very very happy with what they did. They cleaned my den, which I did not think the carpet was going to be able to be saved, they cleaned the hallways and I have a very long kitchen breakfast laundry room all combined with tile floor they cleaned that as well as the front bathroom floor and sanitized everything. These two were wonderful and I will ask for these two men every time I have this service done. They were prompt they emailed and texted me when they were on their way and how far away they were so I knew they were coming they sent a picture of the technician so I knew what he looked like just a very professional great service I'm very pleased. read more

Tile Floor Cleaning. Asked to have floors cleaned under appliances by son in law, as I was at work when they arrived. They didn't tell him when they were ready for him to move appliances so they just left it. It cost $300 to clean a 8x8 laundry room, and a 12x15 kitchen. However only half of laundry room was done since washer and dryer were not moved. As well as the areas for a stove and extra large refrigerator. I am so disappointed. I've used them before and there were no issues. I was given the opportunity to move the appliances. I called on Sunday about the problem and was told that a manager would call me within 2 days. I have never used Stanley Steemer. I will not use them in the future. They give you a 5 hour window on when they will show up. Showed up 30 minutes past the 5 hours. Starting at 1:30pm is not the time to have upholstery cleaned. When the young man was finished he said that we couldn't use the furniture for at least 5 hours (he finished at 3:30pm). We set up two box fans and had them blowing over the rug and furniture. We checked the furniture at 6:30pm. Still damp. Let it blow until 8pm. Still damp. Couldn't use our furniture until the next morning. Left the fans blow all night. Finally was able to sit on the couch the next morning. By afternoon we noticed a mildew smell. Now it's been nearly 24 hours. Used nearly 1/2 a bottle of Fabreze on the furniture before we got the smell to diminish. One whole day was taken up to have a couch, loveseat and two chairs and an area rug cleaned. Not again. read more

I have my floors cleaned every 3 months but it had been about a year since I used Stanley Steemer so they came out today and then I remembered. Ask these 3 very important questions of the person coming into your home. 1. Are you a contractor? 2. Are you on a commission? 3. Have you ever served time in prison? If the answer is yes to ANY of these questions, get that person OUT OF YOUR HOME IMMEDIATELY. That is what I did and am glad I did. He tried to upsell me (which the previous contractor did but he did the job anyway) and then he added another $180 to the contracted bill because he could not do a partial room. He basically said he did not want to work and he was an older man but if you do not pay upwards of $400 for a small project, they will do whatever they can from working. Being a pet owner I've had to have carpet cleaning companies to my house on more than one occasion. Stanley Steamer was by far the worst and I won't be using them again. They advertise $99 for two rooms. So that's what I was having done, just the bedrooms, the rest of the house is hardwood. First they give you a 6 hour window of when they may arrive, which I assumed they show up at the end of the window, they did. They were here at my home for about half an hour and left the carpets wetter than any other company I've dealt with. Let me repeat, I've had multiple companies through the years come to my home and clean the carpets and yes they're always a bit damp when the job is done, these guys left the carpets so wet that they genuinely felt as if someone had dumped water and just left it there. So much so that the humidity in the house is insanely unbearable. I will not use this company again and would strongly advise against anyone else using this company. There are many companies in the DFW area that do a MUCH better job. Update: Here we are 2 days later and our carpets are still wet. I've contacted the company about hopefully fixing the problem as calling a new company would cost me again and I'm trying to avoid that. They scheduled me a redo job to get it right. I then received an email confirmation stating that I'll be charged the same $161 to fix their own shoddy work. This is insane, honestly I wish I had not called them to begin with. I'm now on the phone as I write this on hold with them again to see why I'm being charged again. So far I'm being told there isn't a record of them being at my house 48 hours ago!
