We went here in December during their Winter Lodge re-theming, and it was just delightful with lots of Christmas decor inside and in the enclosed patio and a cheerful fire burning in the hearth. It was the perfect Christmas-time ambience. We actually didn't order any of the special dishes for the holiday theming but stuck with the menu standards and loved everything we had. The spinach artichoke dip was the best I've ever had anywhere with perfect balance of creaminess and a lemony tang and served with nicely spiced tortilla chips. Everyone around us was ordering Lord Stanley's burger, and so I had to try it too, and it was wonderful. A great piece of Wagyu beef with the perfect accompaniments, including nicely melted cheese, bacon, raw onion, and tomato. The Caesar salad was also good and really huge. Their cocktail menu includes dessert coffees; Stanley's Monte Cristo is close to my all-time favorite. So I had them switch out Kahlua for Amaretto and ended up with what we call a Cafe Jessica: coffee, Grand Marnier, Amaretto, and whipped cream. It's the perfect combination. Service was friendly and attentive.

We stopped at this beautiful oasis in the middle of Stanley Park. Service was very friendly and prompt. But where Stanley's really shines is the Lord Stanley burger! Wagu beef cook mid rare with cheddar tomatoe and butter lettuce in between a brioche bun. Yep, it's good. Flavorful, fresh, fantastic. Upgrade to the yam fries! Wonderful.

Had lunch here with our family ...they are super busy but after we were seated everything was smooth. We had a party of 12. Everyone ordered different meals and everyone loved it, thank you for the food and service

We had a lovely lunch at Stanley's bar & grill. What a beautiful patio overlooking the park. Our waitress was very nice and the food was great. But that view!!! It is a nice walk to and from. My tip is take different routes.

Try the fish and chips! So fresh and tasty!

What a find! As a tourist doing all the things that a tourist does in Vancouver we visited Stanley Park and found this Bar and Grill right in the middle! The food is outstanding! The service is efficient and friendly and the price was reasonable. A beautiful setting in the middle of the day!

Stanley's Bar & Grill What a magical spot! Dining here feels like being in the middle of a botanical garden -- the flowers are beyond gorgeous! Our server Katherine is phenomenal -- so energetic, joyful, and truly loves being here. She made our visit extra special . We're enjoying a crisp glass of Chardonnay while soaking in the enchanting atmosphere. Katherine said it's even more magical at Christmas (they put up 13 Christmas trees and a roaring fire in the fireplace ). This place feels like stepping back in time to a romantic château . Absolutely unforgettable and highly recommend!

It was such an awesome experience eating here! It was cool to find out the same name of Stanley Park in where this restaurant is located, it is named after the same person of this restaurant, Stanley's Bar & Grill, which is also who the Stanley Cup trophy is named after!!! This beautiful location has a lovely garden in front of it. The restaurant, which looks like a big house, is nestled in the back. The flower garden is so colorful, the surrounding trees as we ate outside was so green, and the restaurant building was big and cool. My family was a party of six of us. We were seated pretty quickly in the patio area. It was so beautiful outside that we wanted the outside seating. To start off, I had a Maple Old Fashioned. It was a beautifully made whiskey drink, best one I have ever had. We all shared a tortilla chips & spinach Artichoke dip as an appetizer. For my main course, I had the Royal Huntsman Bison burger. This burger won an award in 2023, and I understand why! It was such a great, mouth-watering burger!!! The French fries also came with my burger. They were off the chart good too! Other items ordered in out party was Lord Stanley's burger, Butter chicken, and the Chicken tenders & Fries for my two granddaughters. Everyone seemed very happy as we all tried each other's food. The service here was great! Ashling was the best server! She fulfilled all our requests and with a smile! I definitely would come back here again. I highly recommend you make this part of your Vancouver visit!!!

Cute little bar and grill centrally located in Stanley Park! Stopped in on a perfect day after a trip to the aquarium and around the park via horse drawn carriage! Sunny and 75 with NO RAIN!!! Got the chicken dish and a burger and both were yummy! Great place to kick up your feet after walking miles along the sea wall! Service was great after a bit of a wait to get in but was faster to be seated than anticipated; only waited about 15 min and our seat was ready. Would definitely stop thru again on my travels back to Vancouver!

Came here with a friend on a Friday around 4:30pm. The garden outside was beautiful and we got to spend time taking pictures of the flowers before going in - we were seated immediately when we entered as well! We only wanted some appetizers as we were just stopping for a small bite so we split 3 appetizers as pictured below. I LOVED the Caesar salad and the spinach artichoke dip sooooo much. The salad had the perfect amount of dressing on it and was so refreshing. The dip came with seasoned tortilla chips and I think I could've ate a pint of that dip for real. DELICIOUS! I wasn't in LOVE with the poutine. This was my second time ever having poutine so I'd still love to give that a try next time I'm in town. It was very rich and heavy, so I think paired with our other appetizers, it was just too much. Would definitely get just that plus the salad next time for better balance for us :) For 3 appetizers, no drinks, we spent about 62 CAD (including tip) and left feeling very full and content. I also just REALLY loved the location, such a gorgeous garden outside to enjoy, it is so worth it.

Came here with two children. The options from the children's menu we chose were a hotdog (on a toasted and stale bun that was hard to bite thru) and the chicken strips which were approved and shared since the hotdog was a fail. Parents ordered fish 'and chips to split. Not impressed but edible. The fries were the best part of all the options.

We were visiting Stanley Park and our tour bus dropped us off just feet away from this restaurant. My husband and I were hungry so we decided to eat before venturing through the park. It was a beautiful day (May 3rd), the sun was shining and we sat on their beautiful covered outdoor patio. Our server was so sweet (unfortunately can't remember her name) and attentive. We started with a beer for my husband and Iced Tea for me. The view of the grounds is lovely. We both ordered the House Burger and it didn't disappoint. It was large, so flavorful and cooked to perfection and the fries were equally as good. Our server also pointed us in the right direction of the "totem poles" since there wasn't much signage. We both highly recommend this restaurant while visiting the park.

We were pleasantly surprised having a delicious lunch after spending time at the aquarium. It's a nice hike to get here but well worth it. We had the beet salad, poutine fries with duck, burger with salad and fish and chips. Everything came out fast and it was really good. Highly recommend --- also had a beautiful view of the garden.

Sooo delicious!…read more Butternut squash ravioli with prawns is a must get. It is pretty heavy so would recommend getting it to share. Ravioli has a great slight chew texture, not mushy despite being a butternut squash puree inside, and HUGE juicy prawns on top. Green goddess salad was a nice balance to compliment the ravioli, super fresh ingredients and great ratio with good amount of avocado. The Bellini slush was basically like a peach ring but not sickingly sweet like peach rings and more refreshing like actual fruit. Can't really taste the alcohol in it but could feel it. The calamari was okay, it could be crispier and have more squid/less dough but the flavor with the slight kick and Sichuan flavor is nice. Just not my preference of texture. The wagyu beef carpaccio was fun to eat and assemble but I would say you're paying more for the experience of assembling the perfect little bite because once you put together everything the beef flavor is sort of masked but I do enjoy the slight tang from the greens and pickled veges in contrast to the buttered bread. The cactus burger was a pretty solid big burger with well seasoned mushrooms, not too salty or greasy. Enjoyed the sweet potato fries and the light fry on them. We also sat outside which has heaters so I definitely recommend as it was less noisy and chaotic compared to inside during dinner time. All the employees are very nice too. TLDR: Get the butternut squash ravioli with prawns to share. Get the bellini as a drink. Burger and fries were solid choices that can't miss.

Jam Cafe, Vancouver Jam Cafe is my favorite brunch spot. Anywhere. That sounds like an exaggeration. It isn't. I've been traveling to Vancouver for work for almost a decade, and every single trip includes a stop at Jam. If I'm lucky, two. I've also become that coworker who convinces everyone to meet outside at 7:45 in the morning so we can be part of the first seating at 8:00. Thankfully, we're all from the East Coast and have been awake since 5:00 anyway. Over the years I've successfully JAMfluenced more business travelers than I'd like to admit. And yes, it's still worth the wait even if you're not first in line. The restaurant itself is tiny. Cozy farmhouse vibes, mismatched decorations covering the walls, and maybe 15 tables between the dining room and patio. It feels more like someone's favorite neighborhood breakfast spot than one of Vancouver's brunch institutions. The menu is comfort food turned up to eleven. Everything is indulgent, creative, and somehow still balanced. You can tell the kitchen starts with great ingredients because every component tastes like it could stand on its own. I try to branch out every visit... and then usually end up ordering the Tater Tot Bowl anyway. Crispy tater tots, buffalo sauce, Mexican street corn relish, and ridiculously good pulled pork. It's the kind of dish that sounds like it shouldn't work, but every bite somehow gets better than the last. And then there are the cinnamon roll pancakes. They are enormous. They're also one of the best brunch dishes I've ever eaten. Birdfluencer Lorraine M. declared them the best pancakes she's ever had, and after several visits, I don't have much of an argument. Service is exactly what it needs to be. Friendly, efficient, and quick. The staff knows there's a line forming outside before the doors even open, but you never feel rushed. Overall, Jam Cafe has officially become part of my Vancouver tradition. At this point, a work trip to the city doesn't really start until I've had breakfast here. If you're visiting Vancouver and only have time for one brunch, this would be my pick without a second thought.
