it was super easy to do the exam and everybody was super helpful. I did order some contacts which was great. They ended up helping me out with a great price. What makes this a shitty experience is that no one ever gave me a call to tell me that my contacts arrived to the facility and they have arrived nine days ago. There was no call. There was no tax. There was no follow up. Call nothing. I called the store to see if they had arrived, but no one answered the phone and I was placed on hold and they ended up just forgetting about me. People there are nice. I'm not gonna say anything about anybody's character, but they need to fix their contacting issue. read more

I took a new Rx to the Springfield location on Jan 20 and was initially impressed with the professionalism and speed of service I received. After placing an order for new lenses (I wanted to reuse my current frames) they claimed to save me almost $50 from their competitors, and that my new lenses would be ready in 7-10 days. I received a phone call on February 3 that my lenses were ready and stopped in to have them fitted to my frames. I had to wait for some time to get help and then another 40 minutes as they tried to get my lenses to fit. now, truthfully- I've been buying glasses for literally 40 years and was quite surprised when I was told that even though the machine had measured the frames correctly, the lenses that were specifically made for them would not fit and were bulging out. The salesperson apologized and offered to try again and they would "put a rush on it". I received a follow-up call from the location this evening asking me to come in again, as the new replacement lenses had Never Been ordered. I've been waiting 22 days now for nothing to be delivered. very disappointed in this company and customer care - they blamed a "glitch" in their system? I walked in on a Saturday and was able to get an eye exam within about 30 minutes. Kaylee was friendly and professional. she assisted me in choosing two pair of glasses within my budget (no insurance) which fit my face/head well and only included the lens options I needed. They tested my eyes twice with a different resul each time. still could not see out if the glasses and told to get an outside optometrist to check my eyes and pay myself for the exam then bring them the prescription and they will make the glasses. asked for refund would not give one. I didn't feel pressured and was even told that I was welcome to bring back the price from another facility and they would price . Although it is misleading that the company states the exam is free, once that's done it is credited back to you. The Optometrist is not present. They didn't even appear live on the screen. So having a remote doctor exam test results from and office assistant was a problem for me. Some tests had to be repeated. And they totally missed my cataracts in both eyes! The frames were great but the lenses that they put in the frames were thick like the bottom of a cola bottle and very heavy and uncomfortable on my face. The prescription was way off. Stanton is just a money grab not a medical professional service at all. So they just wasted of $400 of my insurance money. read more

This place is very disappointing. The optometrist is currently out of country, and the internet signal keeps dropping. Highly recommend having someone on site. The selection of good frames is extremely limited, while there seems to be an endless supply of unattractive ones. Get more attractive frames. read more

Our Dr was awesome. Great special, Buy one get one free....well I picked the next to the least expensive frames, after they totaled it all up it was $1100! NOT A BARGAIN AND I THINK ITS SHAMEFUL. I ended up getting 1 frame, progressive bifocals, because I need them, I asked to them to take all the anti-glare stuff off and the total was still $604! What a scam!!! I'll miss the Dr, he was phenomenal but I'll find somewhere else. read more

Have a real eye dr. not a tv screen dr. They got my RX wrong, I had already chosen frames. When the glasses came in, they were horribly wrong. I had to get a 2nd Dr from Tomball to get my prescription correct. After almost 2 months, I'm still waiting... Also, the health of your eyes are not part of exam. read more
